I think Gazelle provided quick service and a fair price for my devices. I would use them again. It was easy to use the prepaid mailing containers which were sent ahead of time. Upon inspection of one device they even upped their offer and paid me more! Extreme honesty.
Stay away from gazelle my phone was flawless they told me it wasn't. I asked for my phone back and they deliberately put scratches on it I use a screen protector and spend a lot of money to keep my phone safe. I am so disgusted and aggravated that people could actually do this they ruined my phone now I can't get the full amount I should be getting from another site.

Tip for consumers:
It caused me a lot of grief how can a company lie and deliberately tell me that there were scratches when I and my son examined my phone which I knew was flawless and it comes back with scratches all over my screen despicable
I was sent a defective item against my purchase by Gazelle. When pointed out they refused to repair it atleast. Buy from some other genuine business interested seller. If you come across cheaters, please avoid.
Tip for consumers:
Dishonesty doesnt help in long run.

I placed an order for an iPhone in Excellent condition and the next day I got an email that my order was cancelled. It said something about a payment processing problem. So, I entered a new order (couldn't edit the cancelled one) and used a different credit card. However, on the new order I couldn't use my discount coupon since it was used on the cancelled order. A few hours later I got an email that this new order was cancelled. So, I got the phone number of Gazelle and talked with someone and told them the situation. They said the issue was that the Billing address and Shipping address were different. Yes, that is correct. I was having the phone shipped to my daughter who needs it for work to replace her broken one. Apparently, their system won't let the order go through if the Billing and Shipping addresses are different. So why have them? I tried to escalate it, but they said it would take 2 business days before someone would get back to me. No exceptions? Nope! I told them I would just buy the phone from someone else - which I did and got it for $50 less!

DO NOT SELL TO THIS COMPANY! They will try everything in their power to punish you and give you $0 for your device, no matter the condition. After multiple sketchy customer support emails and being on hold for 30 minutes for multiple people, including a senior support staff member, to tell me that there was "nothing they could do" and that I had to either accept/decline the offer of $0. With every interaction they decreased the value of my device, and now are telling me to basically F*** off. This business practices shady dealings. I would only recommend if you wish to be screwed over. I have reported this company to the BBB and highly recommended and suggest others do as well.
These guys are well versed in scamming folks that send their mobile devices to them for resale. First they clam it takes 3 to 5 days after receiving to inspect your device. USPS provide tracking # and was delivered to their Processing Center facility in Louisville, KY. After many calls to them they suddenly switched their story to not able to locate my device, and then asked me for original IMEI number of the device which I luckily had from T-Mobile documentation where I originally purchased device. Now claiming the device cannot be located. What a sham business, and do not send your devices to them for re-sale. Customer service people there are useless. They are downright crooks!
Update 1/22/2024- order finally came 4 days later package slit open retaped -NO PHONE 😡 contacted credit card company to dispute Gazelle & fed ex- I'm done- ATT here I come.
Ordered many times all good results until—recent ordered in stock item paid 3-5 shipping. 3 days later email item not available (had to cancel order they did refund but still no phone) Err I order another pay 3-5 day shipping so far 3 delays still no phone new expected delivery 3 more days at that point 7 days! Why pay for faster delivery? Might be great phones great price but if you can't get it?!? If need a phone in timely manner go elsewhere.
Tip for consumers:
Sad as products I received in past were great. Unfortunately this time with all the shipping issues and no real help from customer service I won’t be using them again.

This company is a scam! I am extremely disappointed and disgusted. A business like this is based on the honest system and it's very clear they or their employees have no integrity! I sent in an iPhone 12 that was flawless, I took pictures and video myself prior to packaging knowing that I have to trust these people to be honest. Well of course, they "adjust" my original offer to over $100 less and claim "significant scratches". I asked them to send me photo proof and lo and behold there was now a giant scratch across the top screen. At this point, I took their joke of an offer and will NEVER do business with them again. Beware! They are not an honest company. Even after sending in my own photo proof, they still kept my offer the same. Clearly their warehouse employees are damaging phones to reduce offers. Disgusting! Stay away!
I took photos of an iPhone 12 that spent it's life in a lifeproof case. I was quoted 245.00 for the device which is a fair price (Could likely get 300 on eBay - Which I will do now) Gazelle, has a canned response that your phone has too many scratches. Complete scam and I would be 100% surprised if they pay anyone the quoted amount for their phones. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY STEAL FROM PEOPLE, Period.

None. I had them return my device.
Tried to get an iPad for Christmas, paid for expedited shipping. Got an email saying it was delayed. The email should have said they were out of stock. Cancelled and got a refund. Found a better deal a local pawn shop. My parents came in for Christmas and my mom cracked her screen, she order an unlocked phone and they sent her one that is locked. Called the carrier and the phone still has money owed on it. So gazelle is obtaining phones that cannot be unlocked and selling them as unlocked. They do not exchange or get another on the way or anything. Hold times were ridiculous as well.

My IPad met the criteria described by gazelle for mint condition. Their initial offer, with bonus, was just over $70. Upon their evaluation, they reported to me that the device was full of scratches and reduced the offer to $7.00. I had them return it. I received $70 from Best Buy in store credit, as the agent told me it was mint. I know there is a difference in cash vs. store credit, but clearly gazelle was not honest in their evaluation. How may people just can't be bothered and accept ridiculous offers from them not knowing they can do much better elsewhere?

So first of all I did everything right when it came to shipping my old iPhone 6. Then I didn't hear jack squat from them. My item was delivered, and they told me my "box" was empty. Well I sent my phone in a bubble wrapped Manila envelope. So they took the phone, and flipped me the bird! Don't trust these clowns! I never received any email from these people until I complained about my status of payment for sending my phone. This is a month later!
Tip for consumers:
Do trust this business

Was attempting to sell my old iPhone 6. Gazelle.com took my phone, never sent me my check.
This company is fraudulent. They gave me a quote and I sent my phone to them. The IPhone 12 Pro Max is in pristine condition. I could not find a single scratch. It was always in a case and I only had it a few months. Someone gifted me a new 13 pro max so I decided to sell it. Once they received the phone (that was EXACTLY as I described, the sent me an email offering 1/2 of the original offer. I read reviews claiming this but there were so many positive reviews (probably fake) that I ignored the negative ones. It's basically a bait and switch tactic. Was a complete waste of my time. Unless you are good with 1/2 of the original offer price, avoid this company!
Tip for consumers:
Find a legitimate company to do business with. They are hoping you are desperate for money.

This is a company that offered to purchase my phone. I wasn’t buying anything from them
Bait and Switch fraud scam! Gave me an offer and now claim that my perfect phone has "scratches" on it, which it doesn't and they will adjust their offer from $579 to $344. My phone is perfect, always had tempered glass screen protector and in a heavy duty case since new, Gazelle is a total scam! This is a classic bait and switch and they are just hoping to catch enough people to make this fraud worthwhile.
Same as a lot of the other reviews here. I sent in my iPhone 8 with a $65 quote. Once they received it they claimed to have found a whole bunch of false things (that it was an AT&T network and not unlocked, definitely false, I have never used AT&T. That is was a different model, also false, guys we're not as dense as you assume) and offering only $15 for it! I declined the offer, obviously, had it sent back, sent it to another buy back company and they accepted it and offered me the full quoted amount. I believe Gazelle try to falsely low-ball people in hopes to catch those few who just don't want to deal with the back and forth and just accept any offer. Pretty slimy IMO.
I received an offer for my iPhone 14 128 GB of $433. When I received my check, it was for $290. The explanation was that my phone had been unlocked and was not with Version as I had indicated. However, I was told to clear everything off my phone. I totally got scammed out of $143. I will never do business with this company again and recommend you do the same.
Sent in an iPhone 7 plus. They came back and reduced their offer 33% saying I sent in the wrong phone, that it is an iPhone 7. So I called customer service. They want me to send a picture of the phone. I actually have a picture of the back of the phone with the model number. But they couldn't tell me why they can't go correctly read the model number (since they have the phone in their possession) and figure it out since they are in the business. This is a situation that should be perfect for a class action lawsuit. But take my advice and take your phone elsewhere. Or expect to receive about one half of what they tell you it is worth. You will see in the picture the model number A1661 which if they don't know how to tell models, is something you can google and look.
Do not send your device in. There is definitely theft going on in the their warehouse. I'm just hoping to get my device back in the same condition.
I sent in an iPad in excellent condition. They will bait you with a great offer but then say there are scratches and missing buttons on the device. And even tagged the wrong model number. From a $144 estimate, they ended up offering me $28. I declined but hoping they will just send the same item back.

I spend 3 days trying to complete a purchase on this. Everytime I finished the order, they would just cancel it. I tried getting in contact with the support and they told me that it could be an issue with my card (which as working just fine). Than they asked me to do with paypal, which again was cancelled due to "different address from billing address", and that's ridiculous. When I tried for the last time, they said that it "could not be delivered to a hotel address". Where the hell did they invented this rule? Its a total BS, I wouldn't buy anything from them, it's not trustworthy at all and made me waste three days trying to complete an order that they didn't wanted to sell!

Gazelle sold me a "refurbished" iPhone 6 at full price. They forgot to include charger and it took several days before I received one. Less than 6 months into owning the phone it started to beak down but they refused to help in any way. Don't waste your money or time Gazelle is dishonest company that will scam you!
Gazelle.com is the WORST vendor I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Order was placed 45 days ago (11/27) and still nothing after weeks of calling their support line. If you're looking to buy a device online use Glyde instead. At least they're not a bunch of incompetent $#*!s
Tip for consumers:
Don't
What a joke this service is... took them 3 days to process my order, then another FIVE days to ship. Took over 2 weeks for phone to hopefully arrive. Unless you love having hundred upon hundreds of your hard earned money held hostage by an incompetent shipping facility, do not buy from these clowns
I used to have lot of respect for this company as created way to recycle your valuable phones. But after having successful bad experience over last few months, i feel they are heading towards downward spiral. Lack empathy for customers issues. Company only worries about its profit profit at any cost. Even one of the customer support rep dealing with Gazelle used phones (not gazelle.com) mentioned it has problems with every order off late. We need company like Gazelle. But not in the current form for sure..
I bought a used iPhone 6-plus which worked fine until just past the 30 day warranty. Took it into an Apple store, and through no fault of my own, it's toast. This was a defect that had to have shown up on Gazelle's diagnostics. They refused to give me a refund. It's hit or miss at Gazelle. Sometimes you get lucky... and sometimes you don't. Are you willing to take the chance?
Gazelle offered me $190 then lowered to $140 saying. " Not Flawless Device: We found some signs of wear; therefore, your device cannot be considered flawless.
Scratches: We found some scratches that are more significant than expected." seem to be standard answers once they receive your phone as a means to lower their offer. My phone stayed in a protective case and also had a protective screen cover installed since day 1 and was flawless. I declined their offer and it's been over two weeks and I still haven't received my phone back yet. If you're desperate enough to use their service I highly recommend you take good photos of your phone before you send it in.
Sold them a $131.00 unblemished iPhone, they received and informed it was now worth only $91.00, I accepted, they never put the check in the mail, they have no customer support, they say they will call in 24 - 48 hours, it's been a week. Do not trade with these crooks and liars. There business model must be based on the small seller not wanting to seek legal council to collect on their meager offering. They've got your device and you have no recourse. Seller beware of these crooks...
