“Fair Price, Quick Service”

JIm G.

I think Gazelle provided quick service and a fair price for my devices. I would use them again. It was easy to use the prepaid mailing containers which were sent ahead of time. Upon inspection of one device they even upped their offer and paid me more! Extreme honesty.

Stay away from gazelle my phone was flawless they told me it wasn't. I asked for my phone back and they deliberately put scratches on it I use a screen protector and spend a lot of money to keep my phone safe. I am so disgusted and aggravated that people could actually do this they ruined my phone now I can't get the full amount I should be getting from another site.

I sent in my old iPhone 6, and it was in good condition. The initial offer was $100, but after I sent it in to them, they found a significant amount of scratches and cracks(... umm where?) and adjusted the payment to $40(more like ripped me off). Its absolute crap, and Im never using this site again.

Don't sell your phone to Gazelle - it's a scam - they lead you on with high offers online which they will not honor. My offer was for $140 which after their inspection they changed to $95. Reasons were supposedly wrong model number (not - as it matched their own packing slip) and excessive scratches (not - as almost perfect condition). Customer Service is the worse as well as they won't do anything for you. They went back and reassessed it supposedly and came back with just excessive scratches and still $95. On Gazelles web site they offer you $95 for a broken/damaged phone. What a joke!

Tip for consumers:
Don’t use it

I bought a used phone through this site. The battery on it is worthless, can't even hold a charge for 10 minutes if in use. I have been trying to get a return slip, and they refuse to even speak to me.

This is great - really easy to do, and I was provided my Amazon gift card in a very timely manner. It doesn't make sense not to do this - not sure what other options are out there, but this could not be easier.

I have used Gazelle before and didn't have a problem. This time they quoted me $180 for a phone. I ended up with 80. They said they downgraded the phone condition, but this phone looked barely used.

Avoid, there are other options. Also, you have to check your spam folder, apparently Gazelle gets sent there and if you don't check it you won't know you were downgraded and will have no recourse but to accept their decision. I would use another service.

I always have concerns when I put my device in the mail without seeing the money first, but with Gazelle you can trust that they will provide an honest appraisal and pay you ASAP. Oh and they pay more than any other anyone else and make as painless as possible. They are the best!

I tried to sell an iPhone on another website last year. The quoted a reasonable amount so I packaged my phone and shipped it to them with their form. They did not pay me. When I call their support phone number, a very rude operator told me to get lost. This year, I sold an iPad and an iPhone to Gazelle. They sent me an email saying that upon inspection they decided my equipment was in good shape so the INCREASED the amount over the price they quoted. They paid promptly. Great service!

We have sent in 4 iPads and an iPhone. The first 3 times was great. The last iPad they greatly reduced the estimate but we accepted. This time I got an offer of $116 and then they said it had 'scratches' and reduced it to $22. Ridiculous. I know it was barely scratched and I believe now they are running a 'bait and switch ' type scam. Giving you good offer but finding excuse to reduce it to nothing, hoping you accept it. I didn't and now wonder if it WILL be scratched upon return. Gazelle WAS a good deal but no more.

Tip for consumers:
This is a legit site but apparently they no longer stick close to their offers. They change the offer to greatly reduce your amount.

They quoted 125$ for Samsung 8, then they told me it had scratches and only offered $75. There is not a scratch on the phone. It's a con game, send me your phone for price x then I reduce it hoping most people will accept the lower offering. Do not do business with them.

It was quick and easy to sell my phone to them. I also like the Amazon credit offer that adds a percentage increase to their offer. One thing I would suggest they do differently, is if you request a box, there is an inherent cost in that, and it should be shown. If instead, someone prints the label and ships back using their own box, that cost difference should be added to the offer price. Nudge people to be more environmentally responsible and also saves Gazelle money overall. Seems like a win/win. :)

I accepted an offer of $155 to buy my 9-month old iPhone SE 3rd Generation and sent it in as instructed. When Gazelle received my phone, they told me that it was actually an iPhone 4 and they would give me $1 for it. I declined the new offer and asked them to send my SE back to me. They sent me an iPhone 4. I called two of their customer service lines to try to get the issue resolved. I was on hold listening to jazz music for 54 minutes with the first line, and not willing to wait that long on the second line. The company clearly has no values for customer service, and at this point, looks like scammers.

Tip for consumers:
Do not use these people! If you do, (you really shouldn't) document the heck out of what you send to them. And don't plan to ever see it or the money for it again.

I sold my old iPhone [first generation] to Gazelle during the beginning of last week... guess what? Friday, I got $33 fast cash straight to my PayPal. No excuses. Guess what, even though the condition of it was poor (screen crack, battery life degraded), $33 was still mine.

When it comes to Gazelle, you CAN depend on them to sell your old electronics and used electronics. There still is a price for many things. Whilst, if not, you can be responsible and have them recycle it.

They send you a box within reasonable times, make it easy for you to ship to them, and you get paid if the condition you explained to them in matches, even if it's slightly off or in a debatable condition.

I did not lie anywhere in this review, so give them a try if you 're looking to make fast cash off of old stuff.

I have sold several devices to Gazelle. They are easy to work with, and generally the best deal for selling old electronics. Other than going to Nextdoor or Craig's List, both of which are a pain, Gazelle seems to buy at the best prices around.

I've been using Gazelle for years and it's the absolute best. My phones are processed fast (within two days usually) and I get my money within a couple of days after that. The experience is always top notch!

I was extremely impressed that Gazelle reviewed the iPad that I sent them and increased the offer by 10%. Very efficient, communicative, and easy service to work with for selling Apple products.
Thank you.

I sent my s6 edge plus in to be sold, they told me the phone still had the kill switch activated and offered me $3, I asked for it to be returned. When I received the phone it was forced open with damage to the housing and a charging cable can not be installed.
They never contacted me back after I reported the issue. They should have a class action law suit against them.

I used Gazelle in the past and it was a flawless service. I think all of these buy back companies now are all the same. They quoted me $240 and then when they received my phone adjusted the offer to $215. The reason stated was they said the phones had scratches, the phone was flawless and looked like it came right out of the box. If you want leads hustle I would just sell the device on EBay and not deal with the games.

We bought two iPhone 6 from Verizon store several years ago. We put them in Lifeproof cases to protect the phones which made sure they were flawless when we took them out. We just bought two iPhone 8. Gazelle quoted $140 per iPhone 6. We shipped them in the package they sent. Gazelle responded on receipt that they were AT&T iPhone 6 and offer $120 per phone. Verizon does not sell AT&T phones. Gazelle clearly has corrupt practices. I will never use Gazelle again. You should avoid them.

I got a quote of $303 for my flawless iPhone 7 w/ 256 mb memory. Packed it up in my new phone box and receive an email from them saying there were screen pixel problems and an unacceptable amount of scratches. They asked if I wanted to accept a new quote of $35 (!) or do I want the phone back. Of course I got the phone back, fired it up and the screen is PERFECT. Also, there are NO scratches ANYWHERE! When did this company change their business model to ripping off customers? Very disappointing to be victimized by this once very reliable business. Please don't be scammed but Gazelle.

It's been 2 weeks since they told me they opened the box and inspected my phone, but they haven't contacted me since, nor have they answered any of the emails I've sent them regarding my transaction. I've sold 2 other phones since then to two other buyback companies and not only did they keep me updated every step of the way but they also paid me within a week of receiving the package. Gazelle is seriously the worst buyback company I've ever had to deal with!

My IPad has always been in a full case, and had a screen on it. It was only used at home and only at night when I was in bed. I wanted a newer IPad, sent it in to Gazelle for purchase for $120. When they received it, I got an email that it didn't turn on, it failed and it had too many scratches! I'm now waiting for them to return it to me as their Gazelles response is ridiculous. I wonder what condition it will now return in!
They do not appear honest. I certainly will never use them again and you too should be weary of them.
Gazelle returned my IPad. I was concerned they purposely damaged it. But, It turns on and there isn't a scratch on it?!? See the pictures and find even one scratch!

Fair pricing, quick turn around, easy shipping. The only reason I didnt give five stars is because afterwards I had already mailed my phone in I found another company that would have given at min $50 more. Dont know there process though

The title says it all. The process is simple and so long as you accurately describe the condition of your trade (in my case a late 2011 MacBook Pro) you'll get paid out very fast. I think the company Apple uses has better prices for newer Macs, but they definitely have them beat on anything 2012 and earlier.
