I think Gazelle provided quick service and a fair price for my devices. I would use them again. It was easy to use the prepaid mailing containers which were sent ahead of time. Upon inspection of one device they even upped their offer and paid me more! Extreme honesty.
Stay away from gazelle my phone was flawless they told me it wasn't. I asked for my phone back and they deliberately put scratches on it I use a screen protector and spend a lot of money to keep my phone safe. I am so disgusted and aggravated that people could actually do this they ruined my phone now I can't get the full amount I should be getting from another site.
They do exactly what they promise. Fast, secure and pay out is prompt. Couldn't ask for more. Sold my iPhone 6s Plus in like new condition. Instructions were clear on how to prep the phone and Gazelle kept me informed of the process all the way.
I ordered a Google Pixel 2 128GB and received a 64GB version. I red in the reviews that there are more people who have had the same issue, but I still wanted to give it a chance. Customer service is horrible too. I'm returning the phone and will never use Gazelle ever again. Be cautious buying from this place..
I had an older iPhone and it finally died on me. Rather than go through the new contract or pay $800 I thought I'd try Gazelle and found a good deal. Worst choice I could've made and shame on me for thinking this was the way to go! I never received a tracking email to even track my package! I paid for overnight delivery and still haven't received the phone. I called right when they opened today and sat on hold for some time. The representative wasn't helpful at all and wanted to get me off of the phone. She said there have been numerous delays and she'll expedite it but can't tell me when my order will be sent because "she doesn't know what's going on at the warehouse." Waiting to call back and speak with a supervisor (who's info couldn't be provided on my original call) Never go through Gazelle, they are full of it.
I've been a Gazelle buyer/seller for years. Previous to my current experience, I'd have given them 4-5 stars. I recently sent in a pristine iPad Pro 9.7 32GB, expecting them to pay $255. Instead, I get a very late response saying it's an iPad Air 16GB in Fair condition.
They used to be prompt, and kept me advised of every step in the receiving, assessing, and approval processes. No more, apparently. I've asked their senior management to contact me to resolve the issue.
The the screen on my daughter's 2012 MacBook pro got cracked, it wasn't worth spending the $300 (eBay price) for a new screen - even though the unit actually worked fine with an external monitor. We decided just to cash it in, Gazelle offered $159, which doesn't sound like much, but it was better than a MacBook paperweight. Payment was fast via Amazon gift card (which also increased the amount by $5). So overall, happy with the service.
The process went as Gazelle promised, except for one thing: when they received my device, they initially adjusted their offer downward with the (erroneous) justification that I had sent them a carrier-locked device instead of the unlocked one that I had sent. They paid what they agreed when I challenged them, but they also caused this entirely unnecessary issue.
I sent my functioning and nearly perfect condition phone to gazelle. It's only flaw was that it was an older phone being an HTC m9. I heard good things from friends who bought from gazelle so I stupidly trusted their honesty. I get an email that my package arrived and that they only will give me 15 because my phone won't turn on and it broken! That is totally not true... I charged it before I sent it to back up my photos to Google and reset it. I'm going to not accept the offer but now I'm worried they broke it and won't be able to sell it for a fair price.
Id sent two items in for sale, an iPhone and iPad. Both items were accepted but I received a check for the iPhone only. It was apparent that they had misplaced the iPad and eventually they sent a check after several emails to customer service. Be wary.
I'm Tasha Jackson & I received my order yesterday it was in the mailbox. As soon as I got it I opened it & the phone looked good as new! A couple or scratches but you hardly can see them. Thanks gazelle!

Ordered a "Good" quality iPhone 5s through one of their promos but was charged the higher price. Tried to cancel the order within 10 minutes of the order but was told that it already shipped. I was told to purchase another phone (at the lower price) and that I could return the higher priced one once it arrived. Did exactly as I was told and was refunded the lower price. Their customer service processes are not geared for the client. I will never buy from Gazelle again. Stay away!
I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S22 and received the product one week. They sent an Apple charger in the box. Needless to say, I cannot activate the phone until I can charge it. Sent an email to Customer Service since their phone lines are always on overload, their response was "use an adapter!"
Bought a Verizon 6s plus... Yeah they sent me whatever iPhone 6s plus they had lying around I guess because it is a GSM phone that won't work on Verizon. I don't think this company cares if the consumer is happy they don't have any attention to detail and customer service after the sale consists of excuses.
I ordered a laptop on Tuesday and on Friday I called and was told it was being shipped that day, I should have a tracking number in my email that day. Saturday night I got a voice mail saying that they didn't have my item any longer and would need a call back to authorize a refund. I called back and agin was told it was shipping that day! I got transfered and disconnected. Called back again and finally had someone tell me theres was no laptop and they would refund my money. Why in this day in age why does it take 5 days for them to figure out they don't have the unit I ordered? Horrible customer service and now I have to start over looking for a laptop.
I have never been so upset about anything. I have ordered three phones. My first phone was glichy and never worked right then when I went to return it they cut my refund by $50 and I had to call twice to get the other 50 then ordered another one and I could not connect it to Verizon because it was a stolen phone. Now my third phone going back randomly goes black for 5 min.
I sent a flawless iPhone 5 and received a notice that due to scatches they were reducing their offer by $20. I did not accept and it has been returned. I took it to the Verizon store and asked for a review and in their words "it was in great shape and no anomalies". I was offered $100 in store credit. Gazelle is a bait and switch company. Don't trust them.
Why have I not received payment for my product? I have been on hold for 31 minutes so far even though when I called, I was told that my hold time would be 6 minutes! The company has not paid me for my product after emailing to say that my payment would be processed in 3 - 5 days. That is theft!
This is the only re-sale service I have ever used, but I have been using them for years. It is definitely the best service! What could be better?! You get to ship the device(s) free, and the check comes back, directly to you! I trust Gazelle, and will continue to use them for a long, long time!
This is the 2nd time I have traded in a device with gazelle. Both times I have been impressed with the ease in the process. A couple clicks and then a couple days later a box shows up. After turning in item I received an amazon gift card through email. No messing with PayPal, or physical gift cards. The first time I traded in, they offered me more for my device than originally quoted. They said it was in better shape than I originally stated. Honest, great customer service and very satisfied overall.
I sold my iPhone 6 back to Gazelle and it was received and processed (Amazon gift credit) in two days of mailing my iPhone back to them. The suggested amount was the amount that was paid. When we upgraded my wife's iPhone, the same process occurred. A two-day turnaround and payment. Easy, fast and flawless.
Generally, I'm happy with Gazelle's service. They do a good job and their service is efficient. I do think I saw my computer for sale the day after I got their approval of my device. That they were selling it for 3X what they gave me. I know this is a service, they need to make money, etc., etc., etc. It would be nice to get a wee bit more for something they value so highly. Four stars.
I received my shipping box about 3 days after signing up to sell my last Laptop. It is SO easy to place the item in the box, seal it and put it in a Fed Ex pick up box.
My check arrived a few days later. I love Gazelle. Thank you.

They are very deceptive. I sent over a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4,512gb Unlocked in mint condition and they at first offered $622. Then after not hearing from them for over a week after it has been delivered to them, I contacted customer service to see wth they were doing with my device. A couple days later, I got an email claiming my device has too many scratches and not an unlocked phone, offering me half the price they originally offered. Of course I said hell no and declined. I have proof that it was unlocked because I ordered it directly from the Samsung website with my receipt still there and matching IMEI number. Either the people that inspect these devices are incompetent or they purposely make claims that your device is something different so they can slash their offers to lowball you. DON'T sell to them, you're better off selling your nice device on eBay or Craigslist at a reasonable price. I was able to sell it on Mercari for $800. Don't wast your time with Gazelle.
Gazelle did not ship the shipping label and box to me to send the iPhone to them per their contract. They sent me an email stating my contract would expire soon and directed me to customer service to resolve the issue. The Customer Service Department did not address the issue and when I asked to escalate hung up- and that after 2 excruciating long holds..
Used be good and had used them in the past with good experiences. Must be under new management who has decided to scam people because now they will suddenly claim your device is bad condition and pay you almost nothing for it, or claim they will return it but not do so. WHAT A RIPOFF this place has become! You'd be better off donating your device to a charity that can use it.
I don't understand all of these negative reviews. My experience with Gazelle was awesome. I traded in my iPhone 6 and after sending in my phone they told me that my phone was in better condition than I thought and offered me MORE than my original quoted offer. The whole process was seamless from the shipping box to receiving my payment. I highly recommend Gazelle.
