I think Gazelle provided quick service and a fair price for my devices. I would use them again. It was easy to use the prepaid mailing containers which were sent ahead of time. Upon inspection of one device they even upped their offer and paid me more! Extreme honesty.
Stay away from gazelle my phone was flawless they told me it wasn't. I asked for my phone back and they deliberately put scratches on it I use a screen protector and spend a lot of money to keep my phone safe. I am so disgusted and aggravated that people could actually do this they ruined my phone now I can't get the full amount I should be getting from another site.
I have sold many phones through Gazelle with zero issues. Recently I tried to sell 2 phones and had nothing but issues. First phone was told it does not power on and they were going to reduce my offer. I contacted them to ask them if they charged the phone first. The next day I received the full price offer. Seriously? You didn't even try to charge the phone? Then they could not send my money via PayPal, which there has never been issue with. Second phone they keep telling me it is financed by the carrier. I contacted them indicating I have the final bill showing the device is paid, off, I have emails showing the device is paid off and I have the IMEI check showing the device is clear. They still refuse to acknowledge. Sending my business to Amazon. I will never use Gazelle again!
This is the most painless way to trade in your old kit and get cash for it. I sent in a pair of iPhones and followed instructions they sent. Within 24 hours of receiving the goods, I got my money. Will continue to them!
It took only a 8 days to receive the free shipping box, send the computer and receive the money. I sold my 4 year old computer for a reasonable amount of money -- likely more than I could have gotton by selling it on Facebook or Craigs list.
They offered me a certain amount for a pristine iPhone 7. I sent it in and they told me it had scratches on it and reduced their offer by 50%. Yep, bait and switch. I had them send the phone back to me and used Amazon buy back instead. Amazon quoted me a price and made good on the offer. Stay away from Gazelle, they lie in hopes you'll fall for the scam.
It was easy to get my quote and send in my box, and my check was even bigger than quoted, which was a nice surprise. This is my second time selling to Gazelle and I have always been happy with the turnaround time and overall experience.
I found the entire process simple. The payment for me device was very fair. Very quick service. I would definitely do business with Gazelle again. I used the mail in service. Easy to print out labels for mailing. Very clear instructions on how the process worked.
This was my second experience selling an old phone with Gazelle. I may have been able to get marginally more $ for the phone selling it myself, but that would have entailed a lot more hassle listing it online with a billion other similar items, sifting through responses (some of which are scammy), haggling, yada yada yada. Much simpler to just send it to Gazelle and in a very short time receive a check - which came in handy right before the Christmas holiday. Thanks, Gazelle!
I bought a iPhone 6 off of gazelle.com in Excellent condition, which is $50 more than poor condition. I received my phone in time and was so excited until i got a phone in HORRIBLE condition with a crack in the screen! Gazelle said they will refund me $50 because that's the difference between excellent and poor but they could not exchange it. I could only return for a full refund, which i had already sold my old phone so I would be stuck phoneless! Im not satisfied with $50 because even the poor condition phones do not have cracks in them.
Bought two iPhone 6 phones and one has a GPS/ wifi issue, and the other has what they call touch disease. I bought both phones in excellent condition, but the phones did not work in excellent condition. The phones also have no more warranty, so I feel I was ripped off. I learned my lesson, and that is to save my money and buy from the Apple Store.
Easy process, fair pricing and in fact - they communicated that the gear I sent in was in better condition than expected and automatically raised the price they were willing to pay for them! Ethical and transparent, I truly appreciate the way I was treated. I will be back!
This is my second time selling a phone with Gazelle and the process works great. After I submitted my information I waited about a week for the shipping materials to arrive. Once my phone was received it took about a day before I received my payment through Amazon.
Sent them my broken iPhone 6s. They refused to keep their original estimated value. Adjusted the offer to ZERO and said it was not actually an IPhone 6s, but actually a "parts only cell phone". That's a lie. I bought the iPhone through ATT and paid $900 for it. I know what it is. How about this: I think Gazelle is actually a "scam."
Bait and switch...Never use gazelle
Bait and switch...Never use gazelle to sell your used items. Once they receive your item they will offer you less saying your item has too many scratches on it. I sent them a samsung phone in immaculate condition. They offered 90 dollars less than my offer. This is deceptive business practice and they should never be trusted. What a horrible way to conduct your business
I received a quote from Gazelle for $46.00 based on my very accurate assessment of the condition of my 3 year old Galaxy S7 phone. My phone was nearly flawless except for slight discoloration of the screen. However, after they received it I got an email from them notifying me that not only would they not honor their original offer, but they now changed the value to zero. They did offer to recycle it for me though at no charge (how generous of them). Needless to say, I demanded they send it back to me. Verizon bought it from me for $32.00. Done deal. Thanks Gazelle for the education. Now I'm on a mission to educate others. Scram from this scam!
My phone was a Verizon locked immaculate phone when I mailed it in. They said they received a scratched unlocked phone and drastically reduced my offer. Now I have to hunt down the serial number to prove they switched my phone and sent me back a POS! Don't trust them.
I sent Gazelle my iPad 2 that was in perfect condition. I had hardly touched it for the last year and it was kept in a really good leather case the whole time I owned it. When they got my iPad, they rescinded their initial offer of $89 and dropped it to $5 saying that the iPad showed signs of wear and had significant scratches on it. It was scratch-free when I sent it to them and I have no idea what "signs of wear" means to them. My iPad is on its way back to me -- I'll give it to my 4-year-old niece to play with before I'll sell it to them for $5!
Gazelle was more than fair with the purchase price of my IPhone. They quoted me $22 but when they received the phone and saw that was in great condition they more than double the original quote to $49.50.
Always a smooth hassle free transaction. I received a quote for an iphone and they emailed me to say the condition was better than expected and gave more money for the phone than the original quote. Thanks gazelle!
Great experience. I decided to trade in my iPad for cash. Gazelle sent all the shipping materials and instructions to my home (arrived within a few days). Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Once shipped, the package took 2 days to get to Gazelle and the money was in my PayPal account within 24 hours.
They offered 345 for my iPhone 7 plus. I sent it in, then they 'adjusted' my offer down to $320 because they said it wasn't a Verizon phone as I indicated. They were wrong, it was. I argued with them and I lost - and had no way to get my phone back. But the whole process took so long I couldn't get any better deal elsewhere. Go elsewhere to sell your phone. They did make the process easy by shipping a box to me, providing clear instructions, etc. - but it was at least 10 days before I even received the box.
Sent Gazelle a Samsung S21 128 GB unlocked that has always been in a case w/ screen protector so was like new condition. Offer was $335. Upon inspection, Gazelle said it had "more than acceptable amount of scratches" and was a different model than selected (Samsung S21 128 GB "other" vs. Samsung S21 128 GB unlocked). Offer went from $335 to $65. Obviously declined the offer so they get to pay to ship it back to me. Second device this happened to me on so clearly a standard tactic for them - what a joke.
I recently purchased 2 iPhones from Gazelle. The first one could not make outgoing calls and I returned it. The replacement died within 60 days and when I took it to three different repair shops none could fix it because several different components were not working. Gazelle refused to do anything because I had the phone in my possession for more than 30 days. One the second phone the camera stopped working after 45 days.
I purchased an Iphone and it was refurbished. It had a 30 day warranty but it died after 60 days. The phone was not able to be repaired, the circuit board was not responding after a diagnostic test. I was willing to pay for repair but this phone was dead. For the cost of the phone, 60 days of usage is unacceptable. They would not refund any part of the price and made no effort to help with this situation.
I just sent them my MacBook Pro computer, which was in perfect condition and was given a price of $262. Today I got an email from them saying that the laptop had a couple of dents on the bottom so the price had been dropped $30, to $232. There wasn't a dent anywhere on the computer when it left my house. I used Gazelle to avoid the hassle of the local Craig's list, but will never use them again. I suppose, after reading the reviews above, I am lucky they didn't drop the price to $5.
I've always went to gazelle to sell my apple products. This time I figured I would try and go with another company just to see if they would offer me more. I submitted my quote to gazelle then the other company. Both were pretty similar. I sent my product to the other company and when they received it they told me my info was incorrect from which I received my quote. They then went and took my offer away and offered me $150.00 less than what they originally said. I told them to send me back my product. I then sent my device to gazelle. When gazelle received it they not only accepted it but they went and stated it was worth more than what they quoted me so they're giving me more money. I should have known better then to go with someone else... I will always turn to gazelle. They are honest, and tell you the truth. Thank you gazelle for always making my experience great...
