I think Gazelle provided quick service and a fair price for my devices. I would use them again. It was easy to use the prepaid mailing containers which were sent ahead of time. Upon inspection of one device they even upped their offer and paid me more! Extreme honesty.
Stay away from gazelle my phone was flawless they told me it wasn't. I asked for my phone back and they deliberately put scratches on it I use a screen protector and spend a lot of money to keep my phone safe. I am so disgusted and aggravated that people could actually do this they ruined my phone now I can't get the full amount I should be getting from another site.
I have sold several electronic items with other services, but noticed Gazelle was offering me the highest trade-in value, so I opted to give them a try with my iPad. The nice thing was they quickly shipped me a well-padded box to ship it back in, but that's where the good ends. It took them a week after delivery to their office to confirm they had received the iPad. When I called in the interim to inquire about the delay, their customer service didn't even look up my account to verify, just said it takes a while and to wait. When they did process my iPad, they complained of scratches and wear and tear and dropped my offer down to a fraction of the initial offer. The device is in pristine condition, which I photographed extensively before shipment just in case. I declined the offer and asked them to send the device back to me, which they did, bouncing around in a plastic bag and dinky beat up cardboard box with a piece of paper stuffed in - a far cry from the well-enforced packaging I sent it off in. I wasn't even expecting the same care in return, but the way they shipped it they may as well have just slapped the sticker on the iPad - absolutely zero regard for my investment or potential future business. Terrible service.
Tip for consumers:
don't use the site. it's a sham

My iPhone 6 Plus stopped functioning a month after I received it. I wasted $600 on a phone that was "new" but it was crap. Of course they won't let you return the phone after a month. IT'S A SCAM DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. You will only end up being frustrated and terribly angry at Gazelle.
Sent three 7 month old almost new IPhone 6s 64gb. All were in the exact same comdintion. I got paid for one and for the other two gazelle claimed that they were 5s in poor condition and reduced the offer to $25 and the other one an iPhone 7 that didn't power off with a reduced offer to $50. I asked to send them back, I received my iPhone 6s 64 that was working and still waiting for the second one, hoping that will get it back working. Gazelle is replacing phones and reduces the offers. Poor customer service and I will never try them again or recommend it to others.
Don't ever, never ever use Gazelle. I sent several old phones their way and all of them worked but one by one I would get an email saying that they were "broken". One iPhone 5, which was in stellar condition was "lost in the mail" even though I sent it with the others at the same time in the same box. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Dec 5,2023: I'm updating this review from 1-star to 3-stars after customer service reach out to me after I posted my below review. We came to a compromise that made me about 80% satisfied, so I went with it. They purchased the phone from me for $564, which is still less than the original, but to save from the hassle of trying to deal with buyers on FbMarketplace or eBay, I accepted their compromise.
Original post: Gazelle has predatory practices. I had an offer for $641 for my iPhone 13 Pro, and before I mailed it to them, I took at least 10 picture of the phone from all angles so that there couldn't be any dispute about its condition – zero scratches/smudges. When I bought the phone it went straight from the box and into a case and never left it. So I shipped them the phone, and they dropped their offer down to $396. That is an insane $245 drop! I immediately declined that laughable "offer", and requested that they send my phone back, and it better be exactly in the same condition as it was when I sent it to them. I feel extremely preyed upon by this experience, and I will NEVER do business with them again or recommend them. The practice of getting a person to relinquish their phone, all for them to bait and switch dramatically on the price should put them out of business. Let's just say for the sake of argument that they considered the phone slightly lower quality than I do, the next level down for offer was around $615.
We have sold an IPhone6 and IPad2. They said the iPhone was better than described so they increased the amount they paid us. The IPads was as described so we got the original amount. Both were credited to our account quickly.
I sent in four phones for an estimated fair price. (I thought it would be easier than selling on eBay but now I know better) 3/4 phones they checked in with wrong information and tried to weasel down my estimated price.
I made 3-4 calls to them to try and fix everything. I believe they just assume you are desperate for money if you are selling them a phone and won't go through the hassle of arguing with them if Gazelle checks them in as completely different items and lowers your estimated price.
Being in this business Gazelle should completely know that the Google Pixel phone is not on an AT&T plan, Verizon has an exclusive contract for the phones or the phones are unlocked. So trying to swindle me out of $$ for each Pixel I sent in by saying they are AT&T phones was a general annoyance.
And checking in a Samsung Galaxy S7 as a Galaxy Active is just silly, they are two very different phones.
When I questioned the mistakes they told me "human error". The whole ordeal took over 3 weeks to fix but it did finally get fixed.
If you have time to keep calling them and questioning them, then by all means send in your items but I am personally done with Gazelle.
I checked out Gazelle after I couldn't send in a MacBook Pro to Apple that was one year too old for their trade-in program and an iPhone 5s with a severely cracked screen that didn't qualify either. Both were accepted by Gazelle (I'm assuming for parts) for a little bit of cash. I didn't mind that it wasn't a lot since no other place would take them and I had no use for them anyways. I also got a little extra because of a promotion. I ended up telling my dad about it when he bought a new MacBook because his old one had a broken trackpad and he decided to upgrade. He got a really great rate for his old one from Gazelle. I got quotes from other sites and Gazelle was always a little higher. I will continue to sell to them after 4 positive selling experiences.
My iPhone 6s recently died, but was insured. I received a brand new iPhone 7s, but decided to sell it to Gazelle, since I plan on purchasing the iPhone X when it comes out.
I mailed my new iPhone 7s in its original box to Gazelle. After a few weeks, they emailed me offering me less money because they claimed it was not "flawless" as described. I asked them to send it back to me. When I received it, it was flawless; but, Gazelle failed to send back the charging cord, power adapter, headphones and headphone adapter. I priced these items new at the Apple Store-$82.
I called and spoke with Gizelle and Darlene at Gazelle and was told they would not send them back to me or reimburse me for the items. So, I am basically out $82 worth of accessories. I'm guessing some Gazelle employee is not sporting a brand new set of headphones...
The process of selling my old iPhones back to Gazelle was very simple, and I couldn't believe how quickly the check arrived in the mail. This is the second time I've sold old phones to Gazelle, and I'll do it again in the future!
Mine and my husbands transaction couldnt have been any better. Both were perfect. We have used Gazelle in the past and will continue using them if the occasion occurs again.
I have used Gazelle a few times previously. Each time the experience has been excellent. Quick response and completion of the transaction with a fair price. I'll use Gazelle again
This whole process was so easy! They gave me my quote and even ended up giving me more $$ once the phone was received!
Def recommend this service! Thanks Gazelle
Luckily my credit card alerts me to charges. 890 plus charged to my account by this company. Apparently, they don't check your card very well. I would not use it.
I always sell my Apple products when I upgrade and Gazelle has been consistent about sending $ to my Paypal account quickly. I have never had a problem with them.
ON line got the price I would get for my IPhone 6plus, based on the condition I stated.
I was sent a pre-paid box, the phone fine perfectly. I took it to the PO and deposited it in a big mail box, Within 10 days I got a check in the mail for the exact amount I was quoted.
For the first time in my life - i decided to sell my old mac - I sent it to them via FED EX - THEIR LABEL - THEY DID NOT RECEIVE - NOW THEY ARE BLAMING ME - WOULD NOT TRUST - DO NOT USE - ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED - UNTRUSTWORTHY

they sent the shipping label - now blaming me for not receiving
I purchased an iPhone 6s from Gazelle on 10/8 through PayPal. The payment was processed the same day. Later that day I receive an e-mail from Gazelle stating that my order had been cancelled. I contacted Customer Support and they stated that the order had been cancelled by the Order Management Team and that the charges to the account would be reversed within 1 - 3 business days. It has now been 7 days and the funds have not been reversed. Attempted to further contact Gazelle with no luck, had to submit a dispute through PayPal to which they did not respond and had to be escalated, had to submit a complaint with the BBB and submit a chargeback to my Credit Card. Still awaiting a response from Gazelle on any of those fronts. Bottom line, this company has deceptive practices with questionable financial tactics that are at minimum negligent if not downright criminal.
Beware - they will ask if you want to recycle the mobile device for $0 rather than purchase the device. Gazelle will claim there are multiple problems with a device that is in great shape.
The entire process is very simple. Just determine value of device online, wait for mailer to show up, mail device in, get paid for device. I do like the Amazon gift card payment option.
IDevices are so expensive, but if you have a current/recent version, Gazelle offers the best way to reclaim some of your money from buying the device.
They found my phone in better condition than i picked and gave me more money! Couldn't be happier. I've used them many times and have always been satisfied.
Sent in early ipad mini... perfect conditon... estimated $45... offered $5... boiler plate return scratch etc... non existent... apple store offered more and no defects...
Everything went smoothly. My phone was accepted, as I had prepared correctly for the sale. Just wish Gazelle could have offered me a wee bit more for my pristine 5s iPhone. Oh well.
I purchased a certified iPhone 5s and it is having severe problems within a two month time frame. Gazelle will not accept the phone or provide any compensation. I am out over $300.00!
