I think Gazelle provided quick service and a fair price for my devices. I would use them again. It was easy to use the prepaid mailing containers which were sent ahead of time. Upon inspection of one device they even upped their offer and paid me more! Extreme honesty.
Stay away from gazelle my phone was flawless they told me it wasn't. I asked for my phone back and they deliberately put scratches on it I use a screen protector and spend a lot of money to keep my phone safe. I am so disgusted and aggravated that people could actually do this they ruined my phone now I can't get the full amount I should be getting from another site.
I have successfully used Gazelle.com in the past to sell two Apple devices. I received the quoted amount and was satisfied. However, recently I sent them an iPad Pro 256GB (perfect condition) and they incorrectly evaluated it as an iPad Pro 32GB (with scratches and dents too) and wanted to lower my quoted amount by $105. I was not pleased with the new amount and called customer service. Gazelle, to their credit, did resolve this issue by giving me the original quoted amount after a series of phone calls and an agreement to re-evaluate my iPad Pro.
Even though my situation was successfully resolved, the whole time I was negotiating with Gazelle about my iPad Pro, I wished I'd taken pictures of it to document the condition and serial number. If needed, this would have made it much easier for me to prove what exactly I sent in and its condition.
Here is some advice if you decide to sell to them:
1. Take pictures of the serial number of your device
2. Take pictures of the over-all device condition
3. Take pictures of the device packaging
4. If possible, video the box being taped up and delivered to mail drop.
All of this makes it easier to prove what you sent in to them and what condition it was in when you mailed or shipped it.
Tip for consumers:
When selling to Gazelle.com, document everything and take pictures. This will help you resolve any disputes you may have with Gazelle about your device.
Told me my phone had scratches and crack totally false offered 300.00 less traded phone again for 200 more
Asked for an unlocked phone got it delivered and took it to my carrier paid for new sim smh n jus for them to tell me the phone is locked extreme piss
I sold an iPhone 12Pro and was quoted $367. I only received $107, with no explanation for the reduced price. I will never use them again and I will tell everyone everywhere.
Wanted to sell my iMac 27". Went to Gazelle and used all of their drop-down menus to pick my machine. Got a great price and sent it in. Received an email after they received it saying that my machine wasn't the one I said it was, so they would give me less than half of what was originally ordered. I didn't say my machine was anything, the Gazelle menus told me what it was. Anyway, asked them to send the machine back.
Received the machine and there were noises coming from the box, they put the machine in form blocks but just threw all the peripherals into the box with no support. The iMac got scrapped on the front and the glass screen, the keyboard was damaged all because they did not care enough to package it correctly. I sent the machine in to them in the original iMac Apple box, I don't know why they couldn't of just used the same box to send it back.
I would be careful of this company, they appear to be very dishonest in their approach to purchasing and selling items. I believe that it is a company policy to give you one price, then when you item arrives, they give you a totally lower price in hope that you will just accept it and not bother to request a return. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to take them to court, which I will do to try and recoup my losses for the damages caused by the way they shipped my machine back.
Cancelled my order that they NEVER bothered to ship. Spent 4 calls this morning regarding where my refund was. On hold for22 minutes! Than he tells me some bulk$#*! about my bank. IT WAS ON A CREDIT CARD. I questioned him. HE DID NOT LIKE IT AND STARTED YELLING AT ME! I asked for an email re: the refund. Said they don't do that. THAN HE HUNG UP ON ME! So to sum up my NIGHTMARE OF A TRANSACTION. THEY never shipped my product2wks). I called to cancel. 4 weeks later I'm fighting for my REFUND.,
Was surprised how quickly the sale of my phone went
About 2 days after mailing in my phone, i got an e-mail
Acknowledging receipt and then 30 minutes later got paid via Amazon Gift card
I will never use this smarmy outfit ever again. I sent them my iphone 6 plus in the original box. Initially they offered me $145. When they got my phone, they tried to screw me by saying it had more scratches on body and screen, and that my phone had a different service from the one I said it did. ALL $#*!ING BULL$#*!. My phone was in a case and tempered glass screen protector from the minute it was out of the box, brand new, and the phone was the stated service that I said it was. I wasn't going to accept their piddly offer and asked that my phone be returned to me. Instead, they send me the wrong phone, and it suspiciously came in a box that included a charging cord and plug, along with a card stating "welcome to your new phone" or words to that effect. I called to get the issue straightened out. So at this point I'm still getting screwed because they offered to pay me immediately to my paypal account. They received their stupid wrong phone back several days ago, still no money in my account, now I get some bull$#*! story that they will be in contact within 3-5 days about paying me. More stall tactics. NEVER AGAIN
These people promised me a price and then when I deleivered as promised, they lowered the price. I refused and they did it anyway. They cannot be trusted. Don't do business with them.
Tried to sell them my Samsung Galaxy S20 Note that was less than 2 years old. Phone looks and works like new. Gazelle originally offered $270 and I sent the phone. They emailed me back saying the offer had been "adjusted" to $26 because it was "still connected to my Google account, does not make a call, and has scratches". The Google issue was easily fixed in about 30 seconds, the rest of Gazelle's narrative is a classic bait and switch scam. Box ID PS*******779, order SR*******039.
The phone was in like new condition when I sent it, I have videos and pictures of it being boxed up. When I got it back, it had a slight mark in one corner of the bezel that Gazelle is responsible for. It's clear they dropped it or deliberately damaged it. The video and pics I took before sending it show ZERO scratches or damage. I tested the phone with TWO different sims(ATT & Verizon) and both worked perfectly, no trouble making calls.
I had them mail back the phone, listed in on ebay and sold it for $238(item ID **************). Based on my experience and other reviews I have read, it is clear they are making offers on phones they have no intention of honoring. The many reviews that buyers left stating phones that were advertised in "excellent" condition were clearly not, with all different kinds of damage, is further evidence of bait and switch.
Stay far away from Gazelle.
I was robbed, my phone stolen while on a train in Atlanta. I tracked the iphone and it was "sold" inside one of these machines at a Kroger Grocery store. I reached out to them online to make them aware of the theft. I was told that they could look for the phone, if I gave them the machine number that it was sold to and IMEI number on the phone. I gave them the address of the store and they "don't know what machine is there". Really? Which meant me taking a trip 45 minutes into a somewhat bad area of town to look at their machine and determine the machine number. I am then told that I have to provide a police report, which the police were of no help to me. Since the phone is not worth over $1k and there was no injury they basically wouldn't take a report. So now I am out my phone, even though I know where it is. I have the information about the phone and I can track the phone to their machine. Basically they are inciting thieves to steel people's cell phones for a little extra cash. They thief can then take them to their machines all over the city and sell them for instant cash. They pay the thief pennies on the dollar and then resell the phone for a profit either back to Apple or another company so they can refurbish them and sell them to the next customer. This company acts like their hands are clean when they know EXACTLY where most of these phones are coming from. They count on the fact that the police won't file a report and that they can cash in on the stolen merchandise.
Paid for a phone on a monday with Expedited shipping. Nothing happens all week. I call on Friday and " your order got lost in our distribution system" and they told me they wouldn't have ever known if I hadn't called. They said they "dont have alerts for this kind of thing". Seriously? You dont have alerts for customer orders placed with "X" shipping that arent fulfilled in "X" time? SEEMS LIKE THE #1 ALERT THAT AN ECOMMERCE SITE SHOULD HAVE. They said they would push it through on Monday. I call again on Monday for an update... gues what... NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. No sign of anything happening on their end. Overall, terrible experience. This was my first time using this site and I'm never using it again. It's the end of day 8 after purchasing and have no idea when my phone will be delivered.
On September 18 I mailed an iPhone 6S silver AT&T to Gazelle for $282 reimbursement. This phone was erased by the head of IT at my company. ITunes sent me a verification that this phone had been removed from Find My Phone.
On September 25, Gazelle sent me an email saying that the phone was locked by an Apple ID.
Again, I had the head of IT check my Apple ID and it was not being used for this phone. I asked Gazelle to return my phone so I could sell it to Amazon before an October 3 deadline.
After numerous calls over a two week period, I finally got my phone back on Saturday, October 15. Today I stood in line at the Apple store for one hour since it is impossible to get a Genius Bar reservation on such short notice. Luckily an Apple Store representative assisted me. The Apple Store required my original receipt and I also had the original box to show them that I was the original owner. The phone was locked by a u*****@iCloud login.
The Apple Store representative told me the last person to sign on using an Apple ID was a company named Gazelle. Obviously an employee signed on and then forgot the password. The Apple Store removed the Gazelle login information. However I have missed the October 3 deadline to submit the phone to Amazon. Now the phone value has decreased by almost $100. I called Gazelle and talked to Victoria today. She acknowledged that Gazelle is having problems with locked phones but would not take responsibility or offer any kind of financial recourse.
Do not sell your phone to Gazelle!
I purchased a phone a couple months ago, then all of a sudden I had no service. I called my carrier and they told me that I had no service because of an outstanding balance. I asked how I could have an outstanding balance when I bought my phone from Gazelle not a carrier.
Gazelle had me buy a new phone and return my non working phone for a refund. I asked why they can't just exchange my old phone with an exact same model. An iPhone 5s. Instead of have me go through all this CRAP!
I did buy a new phone 6 DAYS AGO, I still do not have my new phone and still have not received my refund for my old phone.
I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER THING FROM GAZELLE AGAIN!
PS If this site had a negative star I would have used that one.
17 in macbook pro sent-4 broken keys. They said return will send you same specs in excellent condigion-next one-broken hard drive. Terrible terrible terrible. Never again-stay away.
I ordered an iPhone 13 pro at 6:30pm, order verified, but at 9:45pm received an e-mail that order was cancelled due to concern for fraud. I then looked on line and the phone I ordered was no longer available. The following day, I call customer service - I was on hold for 1 hour and 44 minutes and when I spoke with the rep, he said the delivery address did not match billing address. I informed hm I had move a month earlier, but had changed my address on the credit card. Told him I really wanted the phone, not available any more and had used a "first time customer" coupon which now gone. He offered no concession or apology. After I hung up, I logged onto my credit card account and the address was my new address, so there was NO discrepancy. My conclusion is that they oversold the phone and just made up some excuse to cancel my order. For my time and trouble, they should have offered an apology and a new coupon should the phone become available again. Maybe it was a sign I shouldn't buy from this site - I looked at other reviews and many not so good.

I'm a 15 year old. I have no job and no allowance. I saved up my money for a iphone 7. Read goof reveiws about Gazelle and though i'd try it out. They sold me a phone that was BROKEN! A few days after the 30 day return policy expired. It stopped connecting to service. I took it to apple and at&t and they both said i had a broken phone. The outside was fine, but the phone's inside had a problem. They diagnosed it with a broken attena. NEVER EVER BUY A PHONE FROM GAZELLE. IT'S A $#*!ING WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Apple has amazing refurbished phones. My aunt has had one for YEARS and it owkrs great.
Ordered 3 verizon phones and was shipped phones that are not verizon. Customer service was poor, very rude and will not agree to take an order, verify MEID with verizon and ship.
I was considering buying a IPHONE6 from GAZELLE, but after reading the reviews they should be ashamed OF THEMSELVES. I literally couldn't bite my tongue. YOU PEOPLE should be put out of business ASAP, we work hard for our money, clearly people would buy your products so you would make money being honest. BUT you want to be GREEDY, and I PROMISE I will find a way to report YOU. NOONE SHOULD EVER EVER EVER BUY FROM YOU SORRY, HORRIBLE PEOPLE AGAIN. I FEEL SO SORRY FOR ALL THESE HARD WORKING PEOPLE THAT GOT SCAMED. I HONESTLY FEEL YOU SHOULD FIGHT FOR YOUR THINGS BACK, OR RECORD THE WHOLE SHIPPING PROCESS IF YOU DECIDE TO USE THIS SITE! Always do your research, read reviews, never trust online or TV. READ YOUR REVIEWS
This is my second time selling an iphone. The 5se was in flawless condition and I received the max sell $. The process was quick and easy... payment came in two days after the iphone was received.
NEVER AGAIN IN LIFE will I place an order with Gazelle. First, I placed the order, waited for my package which never arrived. I contacted Gazelle the day following my expected arrival date. I was THEN informed the phone was no longer available. So I placed an order for the same phone with less storage, which was cheaper and they said my order would be expedited for the inconvenience. The day after my package was suppose to arrive the second time I contacted Gazelle again they sent my package through regular USPS mail, the request for expedited shipping was "overlooked" which meant I had to continue to wait, and couldn't get my refund back until the phone was released. SMH. Then USPS shipped my device back to the Gazelle warehouse. My advice to anyone looking to purchase is through Gazelle "DON'T" if you have other options PLEASE utilize them. And you're welcome in advance.
I have been using Gazelle for years and have never been disappointed. Offer was fair and payment was prompt - as was the receipt of the box for sending my iPhones.
It's been 11 days and I still don't have any money for my mint condition iPad pro. They said 623 dollars but I haven't seen a penny. Possible scam!
