I think Gazelle provided quick service and a fair price for my devices. I would use them again. It was easy to use the prepaid mailing containers which were sent ahead of time. Upon inspection of one device they even upped their offer and paid me more! Extreme honesty.
Stay away from gazelle my phone was flawless they told me it wasn't. I asked for my phone back and they deliberately put scratches on it I use a screen protector and spend a lot of money to keep my phone safe. I am so disgusted and aggravated that people could actually do this they ruined my phone now I can't get the full amount I should be getting from another site.
In the past years they were very competitive and purchased quality iPads and cell phones at a fair price but in recent years they offer only pennies on the dollar which is literally an insult to the individual selling their item. The mark up on the used items they purchase second hand from consumers is outrageously high. The bottom line is that Gazelle only has one thing in mind and that's fast profit, they don't care about anyone or anything but large, fast profits! It's best to use a more reputable company such as sell your Mac as they deal in much higher standards and offer reasonable quotes instead of insults. I really don't see Gazelle lasting much longer, they've changed hands and their new motives are very transparent.
Tip for consumers:
Do not sell your expensive phones or iPads to this company, they've changed hands and now their only interested in big, fast profits and will literally insult you by offering pennies on the dollar for your quality electronics, they sell items at very high prices but they practically want people to give them merchandise at far less than fair value.

I sold my iPhone 5c. Very smooth process in getting prepaid box. However, my iPhone was in perfect condition. However when received by Gazelle, they claimed it had scratches and reduced the offer from $40 to $25. You can opt not to sell but who wants it back once you've sent it in. It's like working with a used car salesman! Buyer be ware!
I have purchased two iPads from gazelle.com, and neither worked, despite a rating of "very good." I was able to return one, but they denied return on the second. They probably don't want their junk any more than I do. Be advised that they sell USED equipment, sold to them by people who didn't want the item anymore, because it is not working well. It's a scam. They lie.
Friends warned me about the "bait and switch" practices of Gazelle, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway. I have an iPhone S5 in excellent condition that they offered me $100 for till they received it and then changed the offer to $5.00 telling me how damaged it was. Not true. So I requested a return. My Plan B is to donate the phone to a domestic violence shelter and charge off the phone's value on my next years income tax. Much easier than dealing with deceptive business practices like those of Gazelle. Just sayin'.
I was originally quoted $125 for my used iPhone 7 64GB. I mailed it in and today received an email saying that they could not offer me any value for the phone due to a "Not flawless device" - "We found some signs of wear; therefore your phone cannot be considered flawless." and "Scratches" - "We found some scratches that are more significant than expected." My phone had a few minor scratches near the charging area, but no cracked or scratched screen, and no other damage. I'm having
It sent back to me now -- hopefully I can find somewhere that will give me a fair price!
The process couldn't have been more fast or simple and their pricing was considerably better than I could get anywhere else. This is my second sale to them and I'll definitely use them again when the time comes!
This is the second transaction I've made with Gazelle. It could not be easier. You simply give them the condition of your product, get your price, enter a little information and that's it. The first time I used my own box since I ship from my home every day. This time, I decided to be super lazy and had Gazelle send the box and shipping label to me. All I had to do was to reset my phone to factory settings, put it in the box, put the shipping label on and hand to the mail man.
I had my payment within a couple of days. Could not be easier.
I sent in two mint condition, absolutely no scratches iPhone 11 Pro Maxes. No screen damage, no body damage. They were in cases the entire time. They kept my phones for weeks then adjusted the offer down from $452 to $187 each claiming the phones were in badly worn condition with scratches. I wish Nextworth was still around. They had integrity, Gazelle doesn't. Hopefully they send me the same phones back in they're original condition.
**Update. They did not send my phones back in the same condition. There are visible scratches now which is impossible because we had cases & screen protectors the whole time.**
Tip for consumers:
Avoid them. Find a another company.
Gazelle never disappoints! Highly recommend for anyone looking to sell their Apple devices. This is my 3rd time or so I have used them and very pleased with the service as well as the competitive payments when selling an Apple device. Be that an iPhone, iPad or Mac computer.
Gazelle works just as they say. I went to the website, got a dollar amount offer for my device and clear instructions on how to wipe it, and received their box in the mail in 2 or 3 days. I popped my old phone in the mail the next day and received an email with an amazon gift card shortly afterward. The whole thing from start to finish took 8 days. Ive used Gazelle two or three times and its been this way every time - easy money! I see some reviews where people have complained that Gazelle didnt honor the quote or claimed the device condition wasnt as the customer promised, but Ive never had that happen and plan to keep using Gazelle in the future.
I was paid the original offer, unlike experiences in the past where potential buyers change their offer upon receipt of a device. Uasually they will find non- existing or fabricated flaws and offer you less. I am extremely satisfied with your service.
My sell experience with Gazelle has always been positive. The easiest way to sell the iPhones and iPad I no longer need, and knowing it will bring continued use by someone else makes me feel good. The process is straight forward, easy and payment check arrived quickly.
Long time customer... not anymore.
Got a refurb phone (fair), speakers didn't work.
They offered refund... this process takes 2 weeks between USPS and banks.
Meanwhile, I bought another phone (Good), speakers don't work on this one either and the phone has not been cleaned. All the speaker/holes are stilled filled with the previous owners skin and dirt.
Of course they'll let me return it but now I am still waiting on the first return to process and this one to.
The customer support agent didn't care. She simply offered be the bare minimum which was a return. It would have been nice if she tried to earn my business back in some way.
Don't use this company!

Still looking for another company now that this company is crap.
Immediately after posting my negative review, I was contacted by a customer support specialist. They apologized and offered to honor my original quote of $285. All I had to do was re-send them the broken iPad Pro, which they said never should have been returned, with a free label they sent me. (It was addressed to someone in Operations, so I assume this matter is being researched!) As soon as the device was picked up by FedEx, they began processing my payment. I change my review of this company completely! Sometimes things DO work out and people ARE honorable.
I was given a $285 quote for my 12.9" 128gb 1st Gen iPad Pro by Gazelle.com. It had some small scratches, which lowered the price from $305. I desperately needed the money, so I accepted it.
They sent me a large Gazelle logo'd box with heavy padding on the inside. When packing, I kept the device in its official Apple case, as well as the official cover/keyboard. This was an extra measure to keep it protected. I also included the power brick and cord, as requested.
A week later, I received an email that the device was cracked and heavily scratched and that they'd adjusted the offer to $115. Assuming this was an error or exaggeration, I declined their offer and opted to have the device sent back to me.
I received back a small, unmarked poorly padded box containing my device. The top of the screen looks like it was hit with a hammer. It was not in this condition when sent in - it is now unusable. I had to check the serial number to make sure it was the same device. Also, they removed the Apple case, keyboard cover, power brick and cord. They did Not bother to return these accessories.
Instead of an expensive item with costly accessories, I now have a broken, useless device and nothing to show for it.
My mistake - trusting a company to treat me fairly. I should have taken a video of myself packaging and sealing the items in their box. One should normally not have to go to such extremes when acting in good faith. This must be why I have now discovered that the company, while advertising as a member of the Better Business Bureau, only has a 2 star rating.
I will tell every person I know, post on every social media site I use and submit every review I can to warn others as to how I was treated and to avoid Gazelle. All I have is my word versus theirs. That should be enough - but apparently in the world today, you cannot expect organizations to be honorable.
Be safe. Do not use Gazelle.com. Don't let them do to you what they did to me.

I have done business with Gazelle many times and each experience is the same smooth, consistent, and simple one as previous. You may - and that's 'may' - find an offering of a few dollars more but the simplicity, speed, and safety at a very fair buyback price is why Gazelle is the best choice.
Sold my iPhone 6s and was offered about $185, which is fair. But then they offered an extra $15 if I took that money in Amazon credit. Awesome deal and I was able to buy some much needed items on Amazon.com. The process was simple and quick. They give you step by step instructions that are very hard to mess up. Will sell to them again next time.
Gazelle is everything it promises to be... easy, fast and efficient. The only complaint I have, is that they consistently send emails asking if I still want to sell my product, before the packaging to return it has even been delivered!
Gazelle is easy and straightforward to use. They assess your device, give you a price, send you a box with return shipping label and you pack it up and leave it on your front porch. Directions are easy and payment comes fast. What else could you ask for? I have used Gazelle to trade in 2 phones and an iPad - they are very fair in their pricing and reliable.
Was offered $130 for my Samsung 7 edge. After it was received - Gazelle
Wanted to pay me $35! The phone was exactly as I had advertised. Had them send it back to me. Not doing business with a company like that.
Gazelles website is easy to find and easy to understand. Just a few questions asked so that your needs are met. Very very fair prices for sellers and buyers. If there is an issue Gazelle is quick to connect with you so that whatever transaction is happening, happens quick and smooth. Ive used them quite a few times fir both selling and buying. Ill always recommend Gazelle
Purchased an iPhone 12 Mini and paid for expedited shipping of 2-3 business days because I need a phone for my job. It had not arrived by the 12th business day, so I wrote in to ask what was going on. They said they would give me a refund for the expedited shipping. After a few more days of no news, I messaged them asking for any updates on my phone being shipped to me, and they gave me a refund for the phone without responding to me. I still need a phone. Don't bother buying from them.
We sold our Galaxy Note 5 phones through their eco machine. Both in great shape with the exception in My one missing the stylus. Was told by them the fair market price was $120 each. When I did mine... the machine offered $80... I had no use for the phone since upgrading, so I accepted. We figured my husband's would be close to the same minus the stylus... came back $10. How that was justified idk. Never again.
Dishonest company! I sent in an absolutely flawless device (that was in a case with a screen protector from day 1). Gazelle claimed the condition was not flawless and reduced my value by $100. I didn't even request for them to send my device back given it seems some people who did so received back devices that weren't the same as what they sent in. Horrible service. Dishonest business. Shady practices. BEWARE!
The worst customer service ever. Can only speak to a person during business hours and then they won't help you. Spoke to 2 reps today. The worst being Ryan. Rude, not helpful, not trained to resolve an issue. They do not have the technology to take payment on the phone. The first rep was not understandable. Maybe she wasn't speaking English. Said she was at home. They had no solutions and eventually the products I wanted were sold out. If you have hours of time to waste, want to decipher a strange language, talk to an angry rude employee and visit an archaic website that does not have the technology to tell you why your card declined so you can fix it... then this is the place for you.
I bought 2 not 1 but 2 iPhone 5's from these people. Exactly two months later one of them crashed. I called gazelle and they said the 30 day warranty expired so they could not help me to take it up with apple. I took it to apple and they said is was the main board and that the whole phone just needed to be replaced. One month after that (3 months after purchase) the second phone now isn't working properly. The touch screen doesn't work the keypad doesnt work. So its not one phone that could just be a fluke but 2 phones. These people are scam artists and take your money and blow you off once they have it.
Never again! Anyone interested in refurbished phones dont get them from gazelle!
