I think Gazelle provided quick service and a fair price for my devices. I would use them again. It was easy to use the prepaid mailing containers which were sent ahead of time. Upon inspection of one device they even upped their offer and paid me more! Extreme honesty.
Stay away from gazelle my phone was flawless they told me it wasn't. I asked for my phone back and they deliberately put scratches on it I use a screen protector and spend a lot of money to keep my phone safe. I am so disgusted and aggravated that people could actually do this they ruined my phone now I can't get the full amount I should be getting from another site.
SCAM! Here's what happened. I sent my iphone 8 to them in PERFECT condition. Not a scratch, dent or problem with the device. I had it in a case it's entire lifetime. They promised me a good price compared to other vendors, but as soon as they received the device, they said it didn't meet their standards and had "excessive scratches" so they gave me a lowball offer, which I regretfully accepted. I wish I fought them but honestly I need the cash and didn't have the time since I was about to travel overseas. What a waste of time this place is. I hope they're all arrested and their profits are confiscated.
This is the second phone I've sold to gazelle and I was very unhappy. I got an email on 7/19 that they'd received the phone. But when I logged onto the website on 7/24, it still said it was waiting for me to send the phone back. So I called, and was given a tracking number. Fast forward to 8/24 when I got a promotional email from gazelle and realized I'd still never received my check. It was mailed out the next day, but if I'd never remembered and called them, they would've never done anything.
I was shocked to see the other bad reviews when I came to write this one. My experience was the exact opposite. I found the site extraordinarily easy to navigate (took me five minutes) and loved that they provided a box and shipping label to send my phone at no extra cost. Within a week of mailing my phone in I received an email that said it had been received and a check was in the mail. The next day I received the check (which, by the way, was more than other sites purchasing used equipment). I don't write many reviews, but when I experienced such great service I felt compelled to write this.
Sent two items:
IPhone 6s and an iPad. Pre-delivery estimates: iPhone $11; iPad $98.
Offer after receipt: iPhone $5; iPad $4!
Both items were kept continuously in cases/protective covers.
Phone was stated to be a different model - it was an apple iPhone just purchased from AT&T and had numerous scratches!
The iPad was said to have less than full screen illumination and also with numerous scratches- the screen and unit worked perfectly when shipped with a minor almost indistinguishable scratch!
I called and after a 40 minute hold was finally connected to a service rep.
I was told the iPad may have been damaged during or upon delivery in their warehouse however since I rejected their ludicrous offer they could not re-examine the unit!
Based on their initial diagnosis it was deemed to be only useful for parts!
Quite a scam.
Ridiculous to say the least!
Never going to them again.
Gazelle sold me an iphone that still had a balance on it. Consequently, my service provider refused to activate it or accept it as a trade in. I paid $400 and can't use the phone at all. I have spent hours and hours over the past two weeks calling Customer Service to get compensated. There is a never a supervisor available. They always say that they will escalate my case and that I will receive a response within 48 hours. That never happens. I will never buy a product from them again.
Tip for consumers:
Very poor customer service. A sham.

Quoted $90 for my iPhone 5S. This phone has been in an otter box since leaving the store with it a couple years ago. Never once took it out of the otterbox! I finally removed it from the otter box when I was packaging the phone up to send in to Gazelle. I received an adjusted offer due to "significant scratches." There was ZERO scratches on this phone. It was cleaned before packaging to ensure no scratches or blemishes then mailed it in bubble wrap. You should just go ahead and expect that they will make a lesser offer once they receive your phone.
My dealing with Gazelle was similar to others who have expressed their disappointment when Gazelle claimed "we found some conditions that affected the value of your item. Here's what we found:
Broken or cracked screen/case: We discovered that the case or screen is cracked/broken.
Scratches: We found some scratches that are more significant than expected."
Neither the case nor the screen was cracked or broken as it had been in a case the whole time I owned it. And the scratches were minimal. The original quote they gave me was reduced to less than half. My recommendation for future customers is to make a picture of your device in the packing container and send the picture with the device.
Beyond disappointing. I submit my pristine iPad Pro for a "estimate" on their website. Get a quote of $185. I send it to them and after more than two months of calling them, get an offer for $90.
It never left the case and did not have a single scratch or crack on it.
I told them I'll take the iPad back. Let's see if they send it back to me.
Selling my phone was easy from start to finish! The only thing I had to do was answer a few questions online then take the pre paid box they sent me to the post office. I highly recommend using Gazelle to sell devices.
This is the second or third time I've used gazelle. There are NO surprises. You tell them what you have to sell, they tell you what you they will likely pay you. I have never gotten a cent less than they quoted me. The entire process is easy and fast. I mailed my phone to them on a Monday and I had a check in my hand the following Monday. Super easy. Exceedingly fair.
I sent in 2 phones and received an email stating they were increasing my offer due to excellent quality of the phones. Response and payment were very timely which I deposited into my Pay pal account. I highly recommend and would use again.
This process went very smoothly. The instructions of what I was to do were clearly written and easy to follow. The whole process from requesting the mailing box to hearing they got my phone and checked out took about a week. Very impressive!
Love Gazelle! They make it so easy to sell your products, no hassle. I have sold to them twice and they have always agreed with the rating of my phones and checks promptly followed. In fact, the checks arrived quicker than I expected. Thank you Gazelle!
I can always count on Gazelle to give me the most money for my product. They make the process easy and quick and I don't ever have to worry about anything. This is the way to sell your old phones, tablets and computers.
Stupid me, thought they would want everything that came in my IPhone XS box. In addition to a pristine phone, I sent unused wrapped ear buds, cord and plug and info card. Like everyone else, what they quoted, they then wanted to pay less, I declined and when they sent it back I got only the phone. The customer service person had to research and told me that the "terms and conditions" state they will keep and recycle anything extra. Couldn't find anything in the lengthy document pertaining to that. I have extras of everything, just couldn't understand why they think they have the right not to return everything one sends them. Avoid.
I submitted a Galaxy Note 8 that had been received from Verizon as a replacement for a phone that was thought to be lost, but was later found. The Note 8 was either new or refurbished and in like new condition. Gazelle offered $160 based on the condition I reported.
However, they came back after their assessment and said:
Screen Doesn't Fully Light Up: We found that your LCD screen has some discoloration, defective spots or does not work properly.
Scratches: We found that the device has more than the acceptable amount of scratches.
The screen appeared to work fine to me and there were no visible scratches or blemishes that I could see before I sent it to Gazelle.
They lowered their offer to $57.
I think this was a bait and switch situation and I will not deal with Gazelle again based in this experience.
I bought an iPhone X as an early Christmas gift this summer. I gave it to my family member recently and the speakers don't work! Which makes the phone almost useless. I filed a claim since I gifted it past 30 days and NO REPLY!;( Next time I will buy on eBay
Tip for consumers:
Don’t buy from Gazelle

iPhone X broken
I sold Gazelle a near-perfect iPhone 5 however, they reduced their original bid by 18% after the phone was received. They said the phone's condition had scratches and/or scuffs. That is a LIE... just a "bait and switch" tactic by a dishonest company. Stay away!
Do not sell your device to this company if you need the money within the time frame they advertise. I was told it would be 3-5 days. I contacted them on the 5th day and was told it would be 3-5 business days. When I contacted them on the 5th business day I was told that it could be another 5 business days due to staffing issues. I find this unacceptable.
Tip for consumers:
If you need the money within the time-frame that they give on their site I would not sell to them.

I sent my iPhone 6 to them late October. It is November 19 and I have yet to get paid for it. When I called to ask for my money, the "Customer Care" supervisor, Garrett Kirkland, was not accommodating and not the most pleasant. Me and my family have used Gazelle in the past, but this ridiculous experience will keep me and my family from using them again. I strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere to sell/buy.
Gazelle offered me $230 then lowered to $160 saying. " Not Flawless Device: We found some signs of wear; therefore, your device cannot be considered flawless.
Scratches: We found some scratches that are more significant than expected."
This phone was near flawless with a brand new batters. It had a couple of very "fine" scrstches which were hardly noticeable. It appears they offer offer then lower once they get your phone.
Gazelle could not make it any easier to send an item for trade-in. Also, I received a bit more than the original estimate a pleasant surprise. I will definitely use Gazelle in the future. My only feedback would be to keep the customer more informed after an item is checked in. It could be as simple as an email that gives an estimate of when the inspection process will be completed, etc.
Company revised my phone offer from 510 to 155 stating my phones condition was wrongly indicated. The phone I traded in was a very gently used Samsung S21. I chose to decline the shady swapped value and requested to receive the phone back. The phones was shipped back in a cardboard box with NO peanuts, paper, or anything to secure the phone. I am amazed at how horrible Gazelle handled the whole ordeal. Never again!
Beware. They offer your a fair price for your phone but then downgrade the condition to 10% of what they offered. I put a brand new ( one I had saved when I got the phone)back on my phone and they claimed it was severely cracked and downgraded my phone 90% of their offer. Do not do business with this company!
