Used goodrx recently for the first time and was amazed at how well it worked. Without their coupon the cost was $160, with it the total was under $15. Extremely impressed and extremely grateful!
I have tried using GoodRx numerous times and have experienced ZERO savings. In fact, I just had a new med prescribed and when I went to print a coupon on GoodRx, it said "$886" with coupon. That is $64 more than the pharmacy wants to charge me without the coupon. This has been my experience virtually every time I ever thought to get a coupon. Believe it or not, you get better discounts with coupons straight from the pharmaceutical company that manufactures the drugs. Depending on your insurance, the manufacturers coupons often leave you with a $0 copay for the specific drug. (not always)
Sorry to hear about the high price Mark! We do also provide additional resources for expensive medications. To find these additional resources, search for your prescription on our site, and scroll to the bottom of the page. Please keep in mind that while these programs are free, some rules and restrictions do apply.
Wow, the whole process was smooth and fast. I absolutely loved that I didn't have to go and pay $180 at walk in, but at the comfort of my home answered all questions on their website, paid $40 and had my prescription quickly, I am super impressed. On top of it, used their coupon for the prescribed medication and instead of $44 it after the coupon it cost me $11. I am very impressed with their website and quality of service.
Hi Na! We're glad our Care team was able to help and get you the treatment you needed. Thanks for trusting in us with your healthcare needs!
I was looking for 10 ml vial of Novolin N. GoodRx said Walmart sold it for $149.44 and Target sold it for $142.00. I had heard Walmart was cheaper, so I went there and got it for $24.88! A savings of 600%! I am so glad I didn't listen to GoodRx.
Hi Susan! GoodRx prices are based on pharmacy cash prices which change daily. We update our prices often and do our best to track down the lowest prices. We’re glad you were able to locate a better price for your Novolin N!
It was easy to get an appointment, but then it was impossible to get call or message after they took the money, so if you have a follow up questions, you might want to pay for another appointment to get them call you back.
Hello Viktoriya, we would like to apologize for the poor experience. We can of course look into this for you or issue a refund as part of our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Feel free to send us a message through the message center in the app or give us a call at 415-237-1378 and we'll be happy to help.
Maybe I should have been more skeptical for their advertisement on their web. I just couldn't make a doctor's visit on the same day to treat possible UTI symptoms (mild). I knew I had to be on the meds asap as I had experienced the pain etc before. After three days past, I didn't get any meds. All they said was to get a OTC test kit. No follow up nothing and my condition got worse. I will never sign up for them.
Hi Hiromi, we’re really sorry to hear that your experience with GoodRx Care was not the best. Sometimes our providers feel the best care you can receive is from an in-person test. We do offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and would be happy to refund your visit fee. Please give us a call at 415-237-1378 or send us a message through our message center in the app and we'll be more than happy to help.
My husband and I save 30% on our prescriptions every month. Publix was charging $183. After seeing the TV ads I thought I would see if this was real. I downloaded the app and checked the prices of our meds. I found that by switching to Kroger and using the app we could save $56.90. That's real money to us. Now our new pharmacist at Kroger automatically checks between our insurance and GoodRx and uses which ever is lower. Thank you Kroger and Good RX. Our insurance company and our former lazy pharmacist should be ashamed of their price gouging practices. It's real folks.
Glad we can help you save, Joann!
Silly me i thought since it was a drug used by humans i could still get the discount but-No! Who knew
Hi there Ericka! You should be able to use a GoodRx coupon for a prescription that has been written for your pet, as long as it can also be filled for a human. We're sorry for any inconvenience you experienced when trying to use a GoodRx coupon for your pet. Please give us a call at 888-799-2553, and we'd be happy to look into this immediately. We're open Monday – Sunday, between the hours of 8 AM and 7 PM CT. If it helps we recommend that you check out this article for more information: https://support.goodrx.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004948783-Can-I-use-a-GoodRx-coupon-for-my-pet-Can-you-help-me-find-a-pet-coupon-
The app or a text is the only option for using GoodRx according to customer service. This is not user-friendly for sight-impaired individuals. I thought or maybe assumed I could just print a coupon from my email. (I use a text reader to read and use my email on my LARGE screen computer.) But I could not just click and print a coupon, they required me to download their app, which I cannot read or use. Now I admit I have the "Free" version, I can't imagine paying for this even to get a better discount.
Hello Cherrill, we apologize for the confusion and frustration you experienced. If you are looking to print off a coupon from goodrx.com, it can be a little tricky since it isn't listed up front on the main drug listing page. We recommend after looking up your prescription, click on the coupon of your choice which take you to a separate webpage. On that page you should see the coupon, and just below it options to text, print, or when available send it directly to your pharmacy. As for viewing the print option during coupon look-up, we will reach out to our internal teams to see if we can get that updated!
This site is awful and took my money without doing anything. Someone texted me two days later and no one ever called
Hello Jay, if you suspect a possible fraud account, please just give us a call at 888-799-2553, and we'd be happy to look into this further for you. We're open Monday – Sunday, between the hours of 8 AM and 7 PM CT. To find the fraud account please note our Advocacy team will need some information; please have ready the last 4 digits of the card being charged, brand of card, the date of charges, the amount you were charged, and finally your billing zip code.
Their app is horrible. It has a tone of problems if you just trying to become a Gold Member. Then after spending hours trying to register, I finally get a hold of nurse to refill my meds.
I told Ms. Chelcie Kaluzny the Nurse Practitioner who was handling my refill, that my doctor meant to put me on 3x pills a day but she sent to the pharmacy 1x a day. I asked her if it's possible to adjust my prescription. Instead of saying no, we can only give you 1x a day, she cancels all my refill, so now I have no meds at all which is even worst.
She clearly didn't want to work or help. She did a poor assessment of the situation and did the worst thing she could of done, me with no meds at all.
Hello Sony! We are terribly sorry you had a bad experience. Our GoodRx team offers 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and we would be more than happy to look into this for you. When you are available please reach out to our team through the app's messaging center or give us a call at 415-237-1378.
The first time I used my GoodRX card at Rite Aid it lowered my $68 script to roughly $30. Of course I was happy to save the money & figured over time the savings would continue to add up. I was wrong. Every month since when getting my script filled, it actually INCREASED my co-pay to around $350! The pharmacist explained that they see this all the time with the GoodRX card. She continued to explain how their prices change constantly & running it through my insurance was the best bet. I find it frustrating when I see their commercials knowing how it's false advertising at its best. I'm so glad I didn't buy into their monthly subscription. My suggestion is to give it a try & see for yourself. It's clear to see after my experience & especially after reading all the terrible reviews left by other unsatisfied customers, I'm clearly not alone.
And please do not bother responding to my review with your BS. I do not want to hear how you're sorry. And I'm definitely not reaching out to your customer service department. I refuse to cause myself more irritation.
Hi Amanda! We're sorry for hearing about your experience with GoodRx. Because prices are tied to actual cash prices, they can fluctuate from time to time. If your insurance offers a better price, we absolutely recommend using whichever is going to save you the most! Please let us know if we can help you with anything else.
Absolute garbage. SCAM COMPANY. Nothing but cheats, and liars work here. Not sure how ANYONE has ever had a good experience
Hello M. W. We are sorry you had a bad experience with GoodRx, if there is something we can assist with please reach out to us through the app or give us a call! We can be reached at 855-487-0694 anytime Monday through Sunday, between 8 AM to 7 PM CT. Once again we apologize for the poor experience.
I woke up at 12am with a UTI. I knew I needed antibiotics so I created an account and within 20 minutes, I was connected with a nurse practitioner who prescribed an antibiotic. I sent it to my closest 24-hour Walgreens and had the med in my system at 1:00am. It saved me from a long, uncomfortable night waiting for an urgent care and it was only $1.50!
Hi Sarah! We are sorry that you weren't feeling well, we hope you are doing much better now. Thank you for using GoodRx Care; glad you found it not only quick but helpful! If there was anything that could have made your experience better, please let us know by logging into your account and sending us a message, or by giving us a call at (415) 237-1378.
I paid for a visit with GoodRX Care and explained my situation. The doctor rushed through the visit and I did not get the correct medication. When I wrote back I got multiple different nurse practitioners responding to me telling me to pay for a new visit to get the correct medication. Excuse me... This was a error on their end! Then they told me all this stuff to buy and I kept informing them I am allergic to it but they kept telling me to buy and use it. This was a complete joke! I used telehealth.com and was able to get exactly what I needed, no issues. Avoid GoodRX Care by all means!
Hi Kariel, we are terribly sorry about your GoodRx Care visit; it sounds beyond maddening. Please give us a call at 415-237-1378 or send us a message through our message center as we do offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and would be happy to refund your visit fee. Once again, we sincerely apologize about your poor experience.
Arvada, CO Costco will NOT honor the low price of Timolol Maleate "eyedroppers", 10 ml. Cited in GoodRx, and it appears Safeway will not either. Costs are just "wrong", according pharmacists, and they also are unwilling to sell in bulk as the GoodRx menus suggest. Just getting an estimate from these locations required doctor's offices to forward the prescription to them, which filters the budget shopper. While they quibble with the details, they clearly are discouraging customers and irritate doctors' offices. A call to GoodRx to mediate was unhelpful. Though an agent claims he contacted Costco and called me back, his explanation didn't wash... said this was an issue with the manufacturer and there was nothing he could do. It GoodRx actually has any kind of contractual agreement with pharmacies it must be toothless.
We apologize for the confusion and frustration when trying to use your GoodRx coupons William. Unfortunately, pharmacies can only provide you the dosage written on your prescription from your doctor; and while we provide coupons for larger quantities, if the prescription doesn't match the pharmacy cannot use that specific coupon. We were able to look up your information based on your call with our Advocacy team and found that the pharmacy was able to apply a coupon according to the exact dosage and quantity that you were prescribed. Once again so sorry for the initial trouble when trying to use your coupons at Costco and Safeway.
The most frustrating experience I've had. It was next to impossible to actually complete the process of the online dr visit, getting what you want and finding a way to get your prescription. Getting any help with an actual live person to complete your order is ridiculous! It's easy for them to get your billing info for the dr visit but getting the prescription is a pain in the butt. Finally gave up!
Hi Todd, we're sorry you had a negative and frustrating experience with GoodRx Care. We can of course look into this for you or issue a refund as part of our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Please send us a message through the app or give us a call at 415-237-1378 and we'll be happy to help.
I went to use Good Rx for a prescription tonight for my wife. When I presented the Good Rx app to get the discounted price, I was told that for a narcotic prescription (opioid), California law does not allow any discounts on an opioid, and that I would have to pay the full cash price ($58 instead of $16). This type of information should be included as part of the app and/or web site. To say I am disappointed with Good Rx is a gross understatement!
Hello there Steve, we are so sorry for the frustration you had at the pharmacy. Unfortunately, discounts for controlled substances are honored at the discretion of the pharmacy. We'll show these coupons because most pharmacies do accept coupons for them. If you would like to give us a call we would be happy to reach out to the pharmacy and look into this further. Our Advocacy team can be reached at 888-799-2553 on Mon-Sun, from 8 AM to 7 PM CT.
Great experience my RX was at the pharmacy all my questions was answer and I get email checking up on me

I want to thank Good RX, just found out that I don't have any insurance and I'm a diabetic and needed my medicine and without Good RX my medicine would have been over $175 but I only paid $70. What a great help for us lower middle class. You guys are awesome. I will let everyone know how you help me and can help other people like me.
Congratulations on those savings Yvette! We are so happy we are able to help you save on your medication.
Answer: Yes we do. Just present coupon to save. Have a nice day
Answer: If you have any questions, we're here to help - please email help@goodrx.com and we'll get back quickly. Pharmacists have the discretion to honor or refuse controlled substance coupons, but most of them (like 99%) will take them, which is why we list them (and indicate that they may not be accepted). Hope that helps.
Answer: Hi Terry! You will need to present the coupon to the pharmacist, usually before, they fill a prescription. If you doctor's office is willing to do so for you then it may be okay, but we would suggest you present a new coupon each time you fill or refill. Sometimes our prices fluctuate and checking the coupons may get you a deeper discount. If you, or your doctor, presented a coupon and the pharmacist, for whatever reason, says the coupon cannot be used please give us a call at 1-888-799-2553, our Advocacy Team would love to assist you! Our hours are Monday-Sunday, between the hours of 8AM and 7PM CT.
Answer: Hi there - can we help you? Head to our help section for information on how we do business.
Answer: It takes very little time. Immediately after sign up you'll receive the information you need to purchase at our discounted rates.
Answer: Hi Shirley! We list coupons for Phentermine here: https://www.goodrx.com/phentermine Please be sure to update the script details and zip code to see prices for your area.
Answer: Please give our GoodRx support team a call at 888-799-2553, so they can contact the pharmacy regarding the price discrepancy, Steve. They're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: GoodRx can be used in place of Medicaid as long as the two aren't combined. Please give us a call at 888-799-2553, so we can contact the pharmacy on your behalf. We're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: Great question, Don! Since GoodRx compares prices at different pharmacies, there are sometimes lower prices with a GoodRx coupon. If you have a GoodRx Gold account, you are still able to use a GoodRx coupon if you find that it offers a better price for your prescription at a pharmacy in your area.
Answer: Hello there Anita, we're sorry for your frustrating experience at Walgreens. Please give us a call so we may investigate this and reach out to the pharmacy on your behalf. We can be reached at 888-799-2553, Monday through Sunday from 8am to 7pm CT.
