They send totally wrong products worth nothing to the amount you order, leave them at your door and customer service disconnects on you. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE OVER THE INTERNET. BEWARE! They are using drivers that have NOT been checked for any security and they could be anyone.
Constantly not delivering items… as in… they're missing… they don't show up! If they don't fill it because it's not in stock (also happens constantly!) that's one thing… but even if you get lucky enough that your items are in stock, (not usually)… then the items aren't delivered… who knows what happens to all those giant paper towels roles… and cat litter… and so many other items. In addition… it's about a 75% chance you'll get fruits and/vegetables that are old and mushy and completely inedible and not something worth paying for. I've also had orders that were to be delivered that just never were… and I had to go pick it up myself because they messed up somehow! It is complete incompetence and they must be managed by an absolute idiot. It's so so so bad. I've placed at least 30 orders in the last many months… and maybe 3 or 4 or them actually went off without an error or inconvenience. Stay away! Worst company ever! Here's a photo of my order this morning. Notice the paper towels in my order and notice the picture that the delivery driver took of the order at my door… see… no Bounty there! Not sure how you can miss a giant thing of Bounty but this happens all the time!
Super convenient when they get it right. However, Walmart has delayed, canceled, or forced me to cancel countless orders. Same day grocery order—called to tell me I should cancel the order -or- they could deliver more than 48 hours later. Other orders delayed upland then canceled on their end with no explanation. Paid extra for express delivery tonight (guaranteed delivery within 2 hours); after receiving a notification that my order had been prepared and was ready to deliver, I received a text telling me the order was delayed—but no indication of when to expect delivery. It's been 4 hours with no update. It's 10:30 pm and the items were needed tonight. After multiple frustrating experiences like this one, I regret purchasing the subscription. I want to like this service, but they just can't seem to hold up their end of the deal.
On the positive side, returns are very easy, and refunds are issued instantly for any substitutes they made for out of stock items if you don't like the substitute (at least that's how it's worked with groceries).
The company Spark is not professional. They deliver for Walmart. I ordered food delivery service from Walmart only to have to go and pick up my orders twice.
If I could give 0 stars I would. They were over 6 hours late, then tried to deliver and when we weren't home 6 hours after delivery time, they cancelled the order. Twice we called during that time and were told the order was enroute. They could not believe that someone wasn't home 6 hours after the scheduled delivery to sign for the items. Btw, this order was placed 30 hours in advance of delivery.
Joined Walmart plus and ordered 15 grocery items. I scheduled delivery next day on a 10am to 11am window. I didn't receive anything at all. No call/text or show. I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone at the store either. I called Walmart + customer care and texted with an agent but they were not helpful at all. The agent claimed an item was out of stock and the order was canceled. Highly disappointed in this lack of service. I'm canceling my Walmart + account.
I just read many of the previous reviews and feel surprised yet vindicated because I've experienced pretty much Every issue that these others have. What really kills me is that they ALLOW the delivery driver to Cancel the order! WTF? AND, how many times do certain items not arrive, but you see the driver smacking their lips on the potato chips that they were supposedly 'out of' as they drive off. Too bad the hiring process for these people requires only to Fog A Mirror! AMAZON delivery shines like a BEACON over Walmart's.
This morning I was supposed to have groceries delivered from Walmart. I got the text and email when it was delivered. I opened my door and nothing was there. Next I looked at my email and on the Walmart app and it was delivered alright! But to the WRONG apt. This happened about a couple weeks ago also. Twice within a few weeks! My whole address, including my apt. Number is on the Walmart app. I also put my Apt. Number in the instructions. Both times I got a refund, but it takes awhile for that initial higher charge to drop off. I know Walmart uses "Spark" drivers to shop and drop off the groceries. Not sure if it's how ALL are done. Not sure if this is the issue ("Spark" drivers). But it has caused me to not want to do grocery delivery with Walmart anymore. It is a super inconvenience when I don't get what I ordered because it was delivered to the wrong place. I had to re-order my groceries both times this happened, but NOT with Walmart. I ordered from elsewhere. It costs a little more than Walmart, but worth it since I don't need or want that big hassle of maybe not receiving groceries that I ordered and paid for. I have had issues ordering things from Walmart before, but not as bad as this.
Due to broken ankle I decided to use Walmart grocery delivery. I placed my order at 5:30am with delivery time between 1pm-2pm. 3:30pm my groceries haven't been delivered called customer service and was told my delivery driver was late so he cancelled the order and they are waiting on another driver to deliver my groceries. Why wasn't I updated in a email text or phone call about this. Definitely would give this 0 ratings
Walmart tried to compete with Amazon at fast delivery on groceries and fails miserably, not only that, but have an incompetent customer service policy. Let's see, you delay my order 24 hours after i pay for express shipping, and then tell me, the only option is to cancel and re order, WHY WOULD I RE ORDER FROM YOU, get my order 48 hours after supposed delivery, and have missing items that i can't dispute BECAUSE THE ORDER STILL SHOWS IN PROCESS. I was supposed to receive groceries order between 9-10 a.m. the delivery failed because driver went to wrong address. I called customer service and got a refund, I placed a second grocery order for 4-5p.m. The driver delivered to wrong address. I called customer service and got a refund and placed a third order for express, delivery for 5-6p.m. The order was delivered to wrong address at 5:31 p.m. I called customer service and they said the order was signed so I wasn't going to get refunded. The next day I went to Walmart in person and got some groceries, I am elderly and have pains, I had to walk around the store. On November 3, I called Walmart customer service and said I have security cameras and would fill a Chicago Police report if they didn't refund my order the day before, so they did.
I asked for a refund of ½ ($50) of my $98 annual Walmart Grocery Delivery Service membership due to several times, including today, of drivers not following my directions as I asked them to in my online directions/instructions. I have a physical disability and can't afford to chase down drivers like I had to do again today, going up and down 13 stairs and walking another 2 blocks to flag a driver who wouldn't follow my directions to my apartment, but chose to use GPS, which doesn't get you to the only entrance to the apartment complex. It's common sense if someone says use the written directions to get to their apartment door that they probably better do that. I believe the drivers couldn't read/speak English, so it's a combination of poor hiring decisions and inadequate training.
Sometimes they would merit a 3 star rating, but I gave them 1 star due to the vast majority of orders having some kind of problem. My experiences with them have truly been hit or miss - very bad or good. Sometimes the delivery drivers will steal up to half your order (not even joking), and you get to spend your time on the phone with Walmart customer service trying to get a refund. Often times you will be missing at least 1 item. I used to add my tip when I ordered, but I stopped paying people $20 tip to steal my steaks. Now, I tip after what I ordered is delivered. Oddly enough that seems to have stopped the thefts. Weird. Usually they deliver during a 1 hour window you specify, but tonight that window was 4 hours ago and I have no groceries. I call and they told me "it will probably be delivered in the next 24 hours." Seriously? No credit for making me wait an additional day, nothing. No explanation at all - until I CALLED THEM. You can never get same day delivery without paying for "express" and many times that is not even an option. So, you have to wait at least 1 day for your order to be delivered (maybe?). All this for a fairly expensive service, especially when you take into account the tips over the course of a year. I would not recommend.
Yes I've had problems but I've received compensation many times. Plus they always are sending me extra stuff for free. Last week two $15 cat foods and only charged me for one

I get my groceries delivered from Walmart all the time FRONT DOOR SERVICE. I had $100 worth of groceries left in the door of my apartment BUILDING for anyone to grab. I am disabled which is WHY I have my groceries delivered. There are TWELVE apartments in this building and my groceries were just dumped in the floor downstairs Driver even had the nerve to take a pic. WOW. Split bags and cracked eggs. VERY dissatisfied customer.

I have used Walmart grocery delivery a few times and only had 1 time that they were half hour late. But today I was supposed to have delivery from 12-1:00 and they never showed and no updates. So about 2:30 I call and ask what's up. The lady tells me that the driver cancelled and they were supposed to reassign someone else. Well it got to be 7:00 pm so I called again to see what's up. That lady tells me they had another driver but he cancelled at 5 pm. I had called the customer service number and she was trying to help me by calling the store and no one would answer their phone so she sent them a chat message. I will have to call tomorrow to see if I am getting my food or need to ask for a refund. I assumed that if they are not answering their phone they have probably had people calling all day about their orders. This is when I found out Walmart contracts out delivery. I thought they had hired their own people to do this job. Maybe Walmart should hire employees to work there and do the deliveries. It would then be a more reliable service. I need eggs, bread, and milk so I put in an order for instacart for tomorrow morning. I hope that comes.
Yes! This is a from store delivery that's two miles from my home, I'm disabled and count on this for food and other products.

Seriously, awful. I do not know why I keep giving them chances. Every order I place for grocery delivery has issues. Typically, the issue is "DELAYED" or "STORE CANCELED". Delays are common, and I am not talking one-hour delays, I am talking SIX-hour delays and then being canceled. How can anyone possibly rely on this service? This has happened to me AT LEAST A DOZEN TIMES and each time I am assured the kinks are being worked out of the system. Usually, they tell me the driver assigned to my order, canceled the delivery job so then my order just sits there in limbo. The chat agents cannot do anything, they just see what I see on the app. Then they requested a callback for me... I received a call from a call center in India and I am currently on hold after 12 minutes with this call center. Add to that, the fact I am going to have to get off the phone and go do the shopping anyway, at least an hour of my life has been wasted along with the $99 membership fee.
