I have ordered the last 5 or so times advocados and bananas. They send their rotten produce to the people who do online delivery because they can't get rid of it in the store. This along with the fact that they have multiple other issues with each order means i will not be renewing this service. You waste a ton of money using this service
1.Saw ad online for free deliveries. That was false. There was a delivery fee.
2. Invited me to choose between Sign for or leave on porch. I choose sign for so I could check out my purchase. Driver left them on porch instead, and there was a dented can.
3. I had to redo my first try at ordering to meet the minimum amount. That resulted in 2 orders: one cancelled, one delivered.Over $100 was put on hold, and is still on hold, in my bank account for a $47 order. Why couldn't they just receive $ owed, like in the store?
Have to place order 2-3 days before delivery due to demand. Produce is terrible wilted and moldy, not edible. At least 10% of items will be out of stock and canceled at last minute by the store. Once that happens u can not make changes or get similar items unless u place a new order and wait 2 more days. I does not matter if u allow substitutions, the order picker doesn't have to look for a substitute just cancels item. Ur entire order can be canceled moments before delivery due and u simply get zero groceries. Calling the store and custom service won't help u either. Both will tell u to place a new order and wait 2 more days. I'm out. As Einstein said doing same thing over again and expecting new results is insanity. Walmart grocery delivery is insanity.
Where do I start stress out with unknowledgeable people. You call and every time get different answer.And never cancel a order because they take your money, but not as easy to get it back. All I am going say to stressed. Never will I order again.
Example: There's 10 boxes of brown rice on the shelf, you order 3 boxes to be delivered, site says available. Walmart emails you when order is being picked and tells you "out of stock"... why? A weird quota system that only applies to delivery orders, if there's under a certain number of boxes available, say 15, the picker cannot take any for your order. But, if you go into the store, you can buy all ten. This B. S. applies to all items ordered for delivery.
So if you're disabled like me and deal with severe chronic pain, can't drive, can't get to the store you're simply S. O. L.
As far as the substitution option... I've received substitutes that weren't even close to what was ordered.
Walmart seems to think that issuing a refund for so called "out of stock" items is some kind of favor to you... well it's not when you have to wait 3-5 days for the $ to hit your account not to mention that you go without what you need to survive.
It's literally 50-50 whether or not I get my Walmart home delivery order. It's either late, the next day, or it doesn't show up at all and is canceled by someone at the store and they send me a note to re-order. Walmart really needs to step up its game here or just stop offering the service. It's terrible. The ONLY reason I use them is because they are less expensive than Instacart with Publix.
I now have to wait up to 4 days before I can get a time for my grocery order, which you used to be able to get groceries if not the same day at least the next day. So you would think since you now have to wait for your groceries, that all items would be available. Wishful thinking! My main items that I ordered and was waiting 4 days, I was informed either they were not available, or poor substitutions were made. Most changes to a program are made to make it better, someone should inform Walmart of this, because they failed miserably! I would NOT recommend this service, and I will NOT be renewing!
Terrible incompetent service I place an order for delivery they came out the next day my neighbor seen the person carry it when she saying she had to go upstairs she got up back in the car and did not deliver it the next two days were a bigger nightmare to call walmart.com for delivery service speaking to these people online did nothing the only information they have on them is the same thing you have you placed an order when supposed to be delivered they could not tell me why it wasn't delivered but they said oh technically it's not due till the next day the fact that the person came out and did not want to walk up the stairs to deliver it they didn't know how to handle that they could not give me an answer I spoke to five people two of them hung up on me as for a supervisor they refuse to let you speak to a supervisor finally I found one that said she promised call me no call. They do not care they're rude and unprofessional you cannot get in touch with anybody that has an answer
Someone needs to "fix" the website mess and correct the many problems. Don't even think about calling and getting help on the phone. Impossible. Wanted to use the home delivery, but the site changes from one order to the next one and is quite confusing. Absolute terrible experience. The delivery people are nice and hard workers, but dealing with the ever changing website is not worth it.
I would give it 0 stars if it was an option. Unless you plan to waste your time and have nothing better to do than wait for your order for days because a driver keeps picking up the order then canceling it. I put two orders I got one last night and am still waiting 24hours later for my second order. Do not waste your time go through Instacart it will save you the headache that extra few dollars.
Answer: Non existent. You get a refund - no redelivery when they screw up. Worthless.
