Placed on line grocery delivery order on Wednesday for a Sat morning del 10-11am. Door dash driver text me at 11 says been waiting over an hour and she kept asking for the order and they would not give it to her. I tried calling store and no one answers. Door dash driver got fed up and left. Never got my order and ended up cancelling. This exact same thing happened the week before and manager in charge of pick up assured us it would not happen again. Never again! Many hours between the two weeks of frustration and unanswered phone calls. This is the Pasadena MD store. I can't speak for all stores. I have a store closer but it doesn't let you pick where you get the delivery from.
I don't like paying the. 50 - $1.50 more per item when shopping at other stores, but Walmart delivery is terrible. They are always out of 5-15 items on your order that are just regular grocery items. They also have to sub things out a lot. Biggest complaint is they charge your debit card for the full amount and don't credit back amount of the items you did not receive. I called customer service 5x and I could barely understand the Manager (I think it is outsourced in India). He blamed my bank. Still out $75 but gave up and just won't use the service anymore. I only go to Walmart if I HAVE to but will never go there to grocery shop. I have never been to one that was not a freak show, dirty and LONG lines.
This is for the Walmart grocery store on University in Denton Texas. When you have food delivered they actually do it to another service just like doordash. So you get somebody who doesn't know where you live. They have no mapping skills or able to follow GPS. I'm not dogging anybody for not speaking English but it's really hard when they can't speak one word and you're trying to call them on the phone cuz you're watching them going circles unable to find you. My experiences have not been good
I did the free trial of this just to see how it was. They promise a lot with the Walmart+, but clearly cannot deliver.
First, there are no gas pumps at our supercenter, so you can take the benefit right off the list.
First order I tried actually showed up at the end of the appointed time. That was a fluke and never happened again.
The next two orders never showed up. Sat here all day both times and nothing. Walmart did refund my money.
The whole Door Dash thing is going to kill this for Walmart and is actually giving them a bad rep over it.
For crying out loud Walmart, you are the biggest retailer on the planet. Buy a few vehicles for each store and hire full time drivers to do this. Not enough deliveries for the day for those folks? Have them stock shelves that are always bare. This is easy and I'm not even trying hard.
Fix it already.
Waited 3 months for a 75" Hisense television. They rescheduled the delivery 4 times. When it finally arrived it had a huge crack in the screen. I immediately called customer service where I couldn't understand a word coming from the representative and to no surprise they couldn't help me and to call back 24-48 hours. So I may be out of $1000+ dollars. Do not buy Wal-Mart online for the holiday or anytime for that matter. If I get rate negative stars I would.
Hello! I believe my ice cream is being eaten by someone else again! In just over a month, three deliveries have been messed up. We have received other people's orders or told our order is delivered when there is no delivery on our porch. Even when they try to correct this the next day, they cannot even re-process the same order without not including 70% of it. When you call the store responsible for the delivery, they cannot track it down. This is actually the 5th time in just over 6 months that Walmart deliveries have been messed up. We have gotten other people's orders more than once. It is a serious mess. I think Walmart should not out-source their delivery personnel or educate people in-store who are processing delivery orders to read order numbers. There is a major disconned in logistics or training or hiring - maybe all three.
First and last time I will ever use walmart delivery services. It was so over priced and half of my items were actually missing. I ordered 23 items and only received 4. At that point, I debated whether or not I wanted to pack my baby up and just got to the store myself. I was so upset and called customer service. As someone already said on here, the wait time is about an hour. Do not waste your money or your time. Use instacart instead! Its an app that allows you to actually communicate with the shopper and the fee all together is $5. Wayyy better than walmart prices for delivery.
I use Walmart delivery several times a week. The service is horrible. There is always missing items or the delivery never comes and I have to call to cancel and then reorder. I literally mean every single time there is an issue with their delivery... usually a missing item that I am charged for and then I have to call customer service.
So why do I stay with them. Better prices and because with the yearly membership I get shipping for free on any item. But, when my yearly payment comes up in December, I might just have to cancel and go with Amazon fresh. They are a bit more expensive and do not have the quantity and variety of food that Walmart has, but they always deliver on time without missing items.
My elderly mother took like 2 mins to get to the door, The driver was either from Somalia or ethiopia he starts yelling saying oh were taking up his time and he doesnt have time for this... so rude Walmart needs better delivery people not just hire people because the have a driver's license. This is ridiculous
Answer: Non existent. You get a refund - no redelivery when they screw up. Worthless.
