Bought an experience from Groupon. The company for it cancelled my reservation and Groupon refused too return my money because it was after 3 days. I talked with their customer service multiple times and had to restart my conversation everytime,a company like Groupon should have a system in place to review old customer service tickets. I got the run around repeatedly and have yet to get my money back.
Groupon is clearly a criminal enterprise that prays on local companies with the scam of legal discounts. I spoke to a number of merchants that are sorry they got involved in this scam. Groupon tells merchants to unload unwanted merchandise thru this way. Please don't be the next victim. If it sounds too good it is a crime
My Wife bought Gillet Compatible Mach 3 Blades for me from this site. The Quality of blades was so bad that it did not do even a single shave properly. Groupon sells really poor quality goods on the name of discount. When I tried to contact their customer service, its pathetic too. Their Customer Service guys has only one objective, how to stall you and refrain you from returning the stuff. I al still struck with those useless blades. Stay away from this site. Its not worth you time and money.
I am looking for my orders. This is crazy! I have been a loyal customer for years, and this is the service that you give in return. Even being owned by Groupon doesn't help. They state that the account was transferred. Really? I sent an e-mail(as asked) and nothing. This should be reported to the BBB. How can you claim to be a reputable company? I need a status on my orders. You are not the only ones with attorneys.

I bought a restaurant discount deal from Groupon. However, the restaurant refused to honor the discount. When I contacted Groupon customer support (via online chat), they refused to refund my money. They offered to escalate the issue, and promised that someone will get back to me in 36 hours. I waited for a week but never heard back from them, so I called them again (had to search for their phone number on Google). Their customer service rep in Philippines could barely speak English, and was reading from a script. He was of no help, and offered to escalate the issue. Again, I never heard back from anyone.
Groupon has taken my money, and has no intention to deliver the promised goods. Its nothing but a bait-and-switch scam.
I placed an order for a comforter. It did not appear to be of the quality depicted in the picture. I attempted 6 times to contact customer service and have never had one response. I will never use the site again!
I cannot believe Groupon would acquire Ideeli to trash it, ruin it completely. I used to buy so much stuff from them, great customer service, fantastic choices, the daily emails were something I looked forward to. Now, it is all gone.

Freezing? Or not available to open or check out?! I bought 2 vouchers and never was notified that they had canceled on me. They refund it back credit And I can't even use it because the website keeps freezing I've been on here for the last for two! There's no customer service phone number and live agent isn't even available via text! Coupon needs to fix this and get back on board this is horrible!
Do NOT buy unless you are ready to wait for more than 3 weeks to be delivered! It's been 15 days and the products still hasn't shipped - it is a simple protein powder! In the fine print on the webpage it says delivered in 12 days, but when you get the confirmation email, it says 3 WEEKS! No option to cancel! Worst online shopping experience ever! Will never use this store again!

I never had issues until I bought tickets and they closed early for weather. I email support for a rebate. They reply with info and never credited me. On my time I had issues. All other experience good. Always verify what the coupon entails sometimes merchant and coupon discrepancy.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
