I bought a $119 auto detailing as I had some guests coming from abroad. When I went to redeemed it was showing as already redeemed at 6:45am. When the shop was close. I contacted the groupon support and they said they are useless and can only rely on service provider words that he started his detailing shop at 6am. Service provider won't even pick his call. Complete scam money down the drain
I've bought a laptop from Groupon but it was a junk I returned in on December and they send me an email saying that you package is well received and we are in the process of refunding. Now, after 4 month I ask for my money and they are saying that my package was empty!

I ordered my son a helicopter for Christmas. It arrived and it did not work. Groupon would not take it back because it had been more than 14 days since I bought it. I guess I was expected to open his gift and try it out before wrapping it and putting it under the tree. I will never purchase a Groupon again.
Ideeli has poor customer service. They lost my package that was a holiday gift, and instead of sending me a new one, they told me it would take 8 business days until they could even begin issuing a refund. What's the point of a holiday gift if it comes after the holidays? They sent my package surepost, which gives you absolutely no way of tracking it and I had to be the one trying to track it down. You would think they would be more considerate of the fact that it's a holiday gift and at least issue an instant refund so I could get a gift somewhere else. Also, it's a little ridiculous to spend 10 dollars on shipping for a method which doesn't allow you to track it.
Groupon operates its business differently from its website concerning gaurantee customer satisfaction and no hassle refund. If you are unable to use the coupon for any reasons (bad experience, restaurant does not honor coupon, etc...) and ask for a refund, you will get a CAN response of:
"We do not issue refunds unless there is an unresolvable problem, or if you had a bad experience using your Groupon. All requests are evaluated on a case by case basis." Groupon collects your money up front and WILL NOT refund
Groupon does not honor their own rules. I had an expired groupon, which, they say can be used towards another Groupon, wrong, they say you can only use the groupon at the place where the expired groupon is for. What if I bought a groupon to use out of town and am not going back, waste of money... Buyer beware!
I use Groupon site often, for restaurant, beauty farm, spa and resort, extreme sport experience, is very good the price and the offer that you can find close to you. Is a Clever site and right way to discount your money.
I have tried it once and never again. I paid for my voucher and my order was never fulfilled. Their customer service is terrible. Not enough staff for a web based business. Would I recommend to my friends? Don't think so.
Really hard to find the best coupons, it have to many useless or expired coupons that need to be removed cause are a waste of time for any user.
Also, I tried to submit a real coupon that It was working for me and that coupon never went online.
We purchased a house cleaning voucher from Groupon. We got a cleaner by the name of Iranda. OMG! She did an awesome job cleaning our house. I was so impressed with her attention to detail. She is the best cleaner I have had in a long time. I will definitely have her come back again. Great job, Iranda!
Three times in the last two weeks they had "an inventory problem". They gave me a $10 credit-but how am I supposed to use a credit if they don't ever seem to have the merchandise I want/ordered? Don't waste your time.

I will never use Groupon again. They charged me 2 times and when I went for a refund they gave it to my kid order, but not for the adult orders. When I finally found the live chat option they lied and they were of no help.
They stole my money and offered "Groupon Bucks" to replace it.
Second time I used groupon and last time I use Groupon! Half a dozen emails went back and forth in the week after I purchased a rockys pizzeria coupon all saying no refund. I bought it Friday tried to use it that night business was not in business! Sent email Saturday, auto response "someone will get back to you." Mondays email from Groupon "look at fine print - no refunds"! I respond. Next email from Groupon " no refunds after three days, only issue refunds if business is unable to provide the service." I respond. It was the weekend of course days have gone by. Third email from Groupon same response but now thanking me for my understanding. I respond yet again. Fourth email from Groupon sorry can not issue a refund in this situation. I respond once more... then write this review!

I purchased a groupon on 12.26.22. The merchant refused the groupon that day. The same day I contacted Groupon. They would never cancel the charge, refund or give credit. Buyer beware - if it looks to good to be true it is!
If you have a problem getting the product or service you paid for, you are out of luck trying to get a refund. I purchased an auto detail package. Could not reach the seller. After two weeks I contact Groupon "support". They said they would "pursue on my behalf". Two weeks later, still no response. I contacted Groupon again asking for a refund. They may have just as well laughed in my face. Once again they said they will "pursue on my behalf". They would give no indication of how or when I could get a refund. So much for dealing with Groupon. Please be aware that, if you have a problem with the seller, it's only the beginning of your problems. Groupon will stonewall you.
I have ordered many things from this website and never disappointed. The email updates about the sale items are great too because I know exactly what designers I like. Here's my issue I moved to another state and had an issue with another site and changing my address so I asked ideeli if they would change my address in their system. I was told to do it myself I did so and shortly after placed an order. Ideeli sent my order to my old address. They claimed they fixed it that day but according to the ups website it took 5 days for them to do the package was delivered to my old address. I informed them of their error one day after shipping. I have yet to get my order because it's "pending".

I tried to make a purchase using a 15% off offer. When I made the purchase, the percentage didn't come off my order. I tried to get someone at ideeli to fix it. Nobody seemed to read my emails. They cancelled the order. I've been going back and forth. As of today, a supervisor told me the best they would do is give me $15 off. Although I have the transcripts of the whole thing, and it was ideeli's fault that my percentage never came off, they will not honor their initial offer. This has been going on for weeks. The way they didn't handle this sucks! I would advise others to find other places to shop.

Whilst Groupon seems very attractive the deals are actually rarely as good as they seem. They don't check whether the organisations they work with have capacity to handle the volume of business they get from Groupon and often the deals which are claimed to be 70% off aren't really that, they are constructed by the companies in question so that actually you get what you pay for! That said some deals where what you're getting is very fixed eg 10 yoga sessions can be good.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
