I really like this site. I get the vouchers right on my phone and the the businesses take them straight from my phone. My orders for goods come in quickly. I had a problem with one order and customer service took them back and I got credit. I didn't use a voucher once and I got reimbursed for the full price I paid for the voucher.
Like any place you buy from you need to research what you are buying and make sure it is not being sold elsewhere for less.
I guess I got lucky with my Groupon. I did a food coupon and was told that I could redeem it on my phone. I'm usually skeptical about doing such so I also printed out the voucher.
Well needless to say when we got to the restaurant the voucher was still on my phone so that was a relief.
I haven't really ordered any goods from them. I've seen a lot of things that I would like to get but haven't had the guts to go for it. Maybe I will start small and see how it turns out.
I love Groupon! Have purchased a lot from them, always great deals, and what I like best about them is that if I'm dissatisfied with a purchase, they correct it immediately, even if it's w/ the company I purchased the goods/services! They rock! Great customer service!
Looks like Groupon bought Ideeli to put it out of Business. There are no more products to purchase. I used to do a lot of impulse buying on Ideeli but I can't even find a sight. Too bad for Ideeli but it's good for me. $$
This is the worst company I had to deal with so far. Cheaters in a very cunning way. When I tried to place my order, their website gave me a message saying, error occurred, cannot process your order. So I tried again 3 more times and the only message I received was the same error message. A day later they charged 4 orders (same stuff) on my credit card. My credit card company disputed the charges per my complaint. NOW GET THIS! The very next day they split the charges and charged 4 times, and again they charged 4 more times for the other half! HOW SNEAKY! I called the customer service and including the supervisor was NOT very helpful. There are thousands of companies out there that I could have ordered the things I wanted. First time I tried and NEVER again!

Will never recommend and no matter how cheap they are compared to others. It is better to deal with companies who has good customer service and honest.
I'm hooked on Groupon, for deals on nice dinners, discounts on activities for my grandchildren, half off flowers, edible arrangements, dinner and theatre, or goods I buy for myself or others. Groupon has about everything you could ever imagine, and always at a fantastic discount, an unbeatable discount. Also magazine subscriptions super cheap. The only thing I don't like about Groupon, is you are so limited on the amount of a product you can purchase, usually limited to one and maybe one to purchase as a gift. What I do like, is you never lose the money you paid, you can always use it at the same place you were going to make your purchase from, at a later date. You will not get the same deal, but you can always make a purchase from them after the coupon expiration date. Groupon is probably my favorite site.
Groupon frontline staff appear to be sympathetic and concerned when you contact them with an issue, for example, I have an issue where the merchant refused to honour the groupon value, and would only only honour the value I actually paid groupon. Groupon frontline staff advised one of their reps would contact me via e-mail, but no contact ever received. This is the second time I've lost money on Groupon deals, and will no longer use their service.
I was worried about the negative reviews at first. But Ideeli did not disappoint me.
I ordered a coat, which was discounted at a great deal as usual.
The estimated delivery date was a week later, but got an e-mail saying the item was shipped the day after I purchased it.
The delivered item was exactly as describe in the website.
Overall, seamless experience!
I was purchasing a deal when the request to receive the groupon app appeared, causing me to have to reverse a page to find the payment page. No confirmation had appeared in my mail as to the purchase so I clicked on pay again. I was then charged for two of the same product, two sets of tickets for my wife and I to the same event on the same day. When I explained the clerical error to the service rep, then the escalated rep, I was given an electronic shrug and told that all sales are final. Shameful customer service. Clearly, this is a group that preys on and hopes for errors like this. Good bye Groupon.
Additionally, I had gone to Groupon first as the deal should always be lower than that offered by the retailer. It turns out the deal from the retailer was an equal or better price for several reasons.
Shopping on Ideeli.com was a great experience. I brought a BCBG Maxazria dress (which is $348 in the store) for $70 on this website. They shipped the dress before they even said they would and sent me an email to let me know that it was coming. The dress is perfect and I'm thrilled! I also contacted the customer service via email and they responded in about 1 or 2 hours with an answer to my question.

I have been sucked in for the last time with Groupon. I can think of only one thing out of many, many things that was worth even the super low prices. Most of the things I have ordered are in the trash. You can pay a little more locally and get quality items.
DO NOT USE GROUPON! It's an appalling company with dreadful customer service that hides behind emails as they are "unable to call customers", even when they have made a series of errors and admit it.
Also, make sure that you check that they are not keeping your payment details without authorisation. When they do make mistakes, they will not correct them and they will not compensate you either. It will be up to you to rectify the problem and up to you to try to negotiate directly with the venue providing the "deal" as they "cannot contact the supplier directly". Totally incompetent and really not worthy of your custom. Find an alternative supplier and don't waste your time.
I wont buy from this company again. Their tracking system isn't a tracking system, its a con. They say a product is delivered with no evidence to prove this. Saying maybe a neighbor has it simply isn't good enough. My nearest neighbor is quarter of a mile a way, so bull. They supply you with a false number to check on your product. Their 'wheres my purchase?' link is broken, doesn't work, hasn't done so for months. Never again.
Ripped Off and Horrific Customer Services!
After purchasing a few hundreds worth of coupons from Groupon for restaurants, body message (which is not a message, but a chiropractor required 1 hr intake), etc. all of which are ripped offs; not worth the money. I called *******482 and *******777, the Groupon customer service Adrienna A., Stephan, and Ian B. Are scums. First of all, they recorded my conversation, secondly, they merely argued and wasted my time. I wanted my money back, they said, "After 7 days of purchases, you don't get your money back." I asked them if they keep the unused purchases as scammers do? They refused to answer. I have requested my refunds for the unused coupons for over 10 months, Groupon refused to respond. I hope that I did not need to use Small Claims recourse to get my money back including interests. Even 60 Minutes aired the horrific rip-offs by Groupon. It is a RED FLAG and an eye-opener! Strongly NOT recommend Groupon to anyone!
Purchased a restaurant voucher for Valentines Day and turned out the restaurant was out of business. There went my valentines day dinner.
Later purchased a wine deal with Heartwood & Oak via Groupon, order not fulfilled properly and each shifts the blame on the other.
Once again out of money with no recourse.
I have been hooked on Ideel for years from house items to purses, shoes watches, glasses etc. My last order took forever to arrive and in between the time when i ordered and when i received the item they switched to GROUPON, None of my prior order history is available and one of my last items i've been trying to return through groupon... no answer, no email nothing. I would never shop on groupon for such items... baddd decision to do this merger.
I love to shop on groupon because me and my children can venture out and do random things we wouldnt have necessarily done if not for groupon. But why you get 4 stars is because when you send me a discount to use for a sale... that is what i am expecting. I have noticed you jack up the prices during sales and discounts. Overall i never saved. That is disappointing.
I purchased a groupon to make my mother's day. The business did not open that day despite no indication on their website and multiple people showing up expecting to eat. I had to scramble to take my mom elsewhere, trusting that groupon would refund me (after all, they get half of what you paid for doing nothing). I talked to 4 people from groupon and all they would do is repeat their policy to me of refusing to refund any groupons purchased more than 3 days from the call.
They are a ridiculous company that clearly don't care about their customers. $14 is worth more to them than a repeat customer. RIDICULOUS
My little son created a big groupon order while playing on computer (as my cc information was saved in my acct). I called the customer support around 3 hours after the order was placed, they were unwilling to help - they told me the order can not be cancelled. You have to ship the items back to the merchants for refund. I am not sure if I will get my money back:-(
Accidentally put two same orders since the first order took very long time to go through which I thought failed. Just in a minute, I contacted customer service and wanted to cancel on of them. There has no phone # to contact only chat or email. But the agent did nothing, only say "sorry, sorry". Very bad experience and not sure if it can be happened in US. I guess groupon will be OUT BUISNESS soon.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
