I find that the discount is overstated. They are currently selling bloch shoes but the original price is over 20 to 30 bucks. Therefore the discount is not a real discount when compared to other sites. Check Zappos and Saks for regular price.
So far everything I have purchased has been exactly what they advertised. I have purchased Golf packages, nail salon certificates, massage packages, and other things along these lines. No hidden fees or hidden prints.
I purchased a coupon and the services from the company refused to be rendered for the purpose of the purchase and they refused my refund. I have a big event that I was going to and bought a hair package for a salon. The salon set up the appointment the day before the event only to cancel on me less than an hour before my appointment. Groupon says sorry, gift the voucher. I'm said that is shady business. I'm not "gifting" that trouble to ANYONE! So they just like to steal your money.
I recently purchased the double drop raceway water made by bonsai from Groupon. It was delivered late and had a lot of mold all over it. It did appear in new condition so I assume it way simply left in the rain and water seeped in one of the many holes that were in the box. I contacted Groupon about this and they offer to send me a new one in about a month. I will never buy anything from Groupon again.
To say I am disappointed would be an understatement! I purchased tickets to for a local Christmas event on 12/14 the tickets were for 12/24 well in advance only to receive an email stating that it was cancelled! No explanation as to why it was canceled... simply it was canceled. Unfortunately tickets are no longer available if I were to purchase them directly from the event website which is what I should have done from the get go. Thanks Groupon for this awful experience but most importantly for disappointing my children.
The tour (Symphony tour in Dubai) service I bought from Groupon was unhelpful and right out rude. It wasted one day of my trip and my complaint went nowhere with Groupon. I am very unhappy customer and I don't recommend shopping from them.
Why don't you include very important, critical information that should be included in the offer? I bought a "Zerona" body-sculpting/coolsculpting groupon, went the very next day from purchasing it, a Sunday, to have a consult. In that consult I found that they say it will not be effective unless you use their "Preparation plan" for supplements that exceeded the cost of the treatments at the Groupon deal. That should be disclosed up front. I wasted a lot of time today on this.
Has anyone noticed that Groupon cares so much about their customers that they shut down all of their customer service numbers? I think that companies that you can't reach by phone don't care about customer service and should be put out of business.
Excellent site. I buy many things from this site. Any time there has been an issue, Groupon customer service has been wonderful. Giving refunds when deemed appropriate. Would definitely recommend buying from the site
I ordered an item that was supposed to be shipped in 7 to 12 days. More than 3 weeks has passed and it is waiting for "FULL FILLMENT". They offer good deals but it takes forever to get it shipped. If I ever do get my product it will be the last thing I order from Groupon. Do yourself a favor and shop someplace else. Either that or have some blood pressure meds on hand.
Honestly I tend to buy groupon's for new places that have opened up as a great way to check what is new int he area and have found quite a few new restaurants that I may not have tried otherwise. Love the service!
Groupon is so bad! I bought a lot of idems for Christmas must of them were damage or didn't even work! I made a return and never had my money back I have sent so many emails not answers to my emails nobody you can talk or anything please before you get something in this Groupon scam app be careful! Pictures look great everything I got was a very bad quality very cheap looking overpriced is not true at all that everything is cheaper because is not! Is not way to communicate with no one in Groupon no just that I returned something that I paid for that it didn't work or was broken I didn't even got my money back! Don't give your money away in places like Groupon is totally not worth it!
My mother purchased a voucher for a boiler service which did not cover the south east. Instead of contacting my mother to make her aware of her error both the company and Groupon kept her money. This is deceitful tactics. Shame on Groupon
I used to love Groupon however they have taken a turn for the worst and if something happens with your Groupon like the business is shut down or Groupon issued the Groupon for a different area other than the one you searched then you will not get any customer service! They are strictly live chat which no one responded to me at ALL in their "live chat" so then I emailed my issue and I have gotten a generic email 4 times so far saying they are sorry for taking so long but they will get back to me soon. Absolutely the worst!
Site offers good deals which are often reliable. Have found deals are generally what they purport to be, but the more successful the deal, sometimes the more difficult to obtain it if the the person offering it is a very small business. (I tried to make an appointment for a massage and did not do it immediately after purchasing the groupon, and found it necessary to wait almost six months to book it)!
I bought a mirror from them which was around 160$. The mirror came broken and they never exchanged nor gave me a solution for it.
I'll never trust them again, they are not reliable and I work really hard for my money to get rip off like that.
There are other companies that does the same as they do... I wouldn't take a chance!
As one of the Groupon coupons said, pay 50 dollars and save 100 dollars on window tint, ended up driving almost 100 miles and the company still made me pay almost full price for the tint "not accepting" the coupon. It's not worth your time and money folks.
I have spent over $200 on a groupon for a company that didn't even want to honor it. The company doesnt return or answer any calls. Therefore making the groupon worthless. Groupon puts the blame back on the company. Your better off spending more money and going through the company directly rather than wasting your time with Groupon who refuses to issue a refund or try and fix this issue. In the end you'll probably even save more money by avoiding groupon!
We use Groupon to buy a new experience (restaurant, service, etc) at a discount to see if we like it. I check in often (cia them emails that Groupon sends) to see of new things to do.

Bought the "tickets", which were just a voucher for the actual tickets, which I then had to buy, except that I had to pay full price anyway, because the ticket prices had changed, and the code didn't apply to both tickets, and I didn't immediately realize they gave me two different codes, so I basically ended up paying for three tickets. So useless it was disgusting.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
