I ordered from groupon once a year ago. After several weeks I contacted THEM and was told what I ordered was no longer available. I was angry that they didn't contact me as it was a Christmas gift and had to go find something else on short notice and vowed to not shop with them again!
I was a loyal Ideeli then Ideel customer. Now Ideel- Groupons and it is the most horrible service I've seen for any website. Items take forever to ship and they give you some lame excuse when you call. I am an Internet shopper queen and this really is a horrible site. I will never purchase from them again. I will definitely tell all of the people I referred to Ideeli and then Ideel to never shop from Ideel-Groupons.
I check groupon at least three times a week and purchase something at least twice a month. Great deals for literally anything you're looking to buy or do. My fiancé and I went on a $4000 vacation for less than half of that price! Seriously check it out we love groupon
In June I ordered some Latisse. I redeemed my voucher. At that point they deducted $135 (full price) from my paypal account. I have sent numerous emails with no response. Oh... I never got the Latisse after. I contacted them & they said I didn't redeem my voucher...
BUT the voucher I have has REDEEMED in large letters. I also eeemt to the company and redeemed the voucher on their site.
I think Groupon is a JOKE!
I was charged twice for my purchase but Groupon would not refund because I discovered it outside the 3 day return window. Very frustrating. Abner F. From customer service kept quoting the refund policy. But he would never refund there double charge. Groupon is scammy.
Never responded to e-mails when my voucher wouldn't work (online code for a race). Race director refused to honor it. Waste of $30 and several hours of my life. I will never buy another Groupon again. Buyer beware!
Really disappointed. My first Groupon purchase was for a food festival. When I arrived at the food festival there was no food included in the price of the ticket. Everyone who was buying a ticket on the door (at only £1 more than my Groupon BTW), was being told specifically food was NOT included however the Groupon did not state this anywhere. This was totally mis-sold and after spending 2 hours with Customer service (emailing and calling) they refused to give any refund.
I purchased a $6 Groupon to a restaurant, but failed to use it in time. I asked Groupon if they could just credit the $6 to my account (I have spent hundreds of dollars on groupons). Their stock response was that I had to deal with the vendor, and, if I didn't get satisfaction, then I could ask Groupon for help. What? That's your customer service? Really? I purchased the certificate directly from Groupon. Groupon made the deal with the vendor. Groupon benefited from this deal. If I ask the vendor, why should he help me when half of the reimbursement would be covering Groupon's profit? And your customer service requires me to go to all this trouble? How about Groupon refunds or credits my account and then Groupon, with all its muscle can deal directly with vendor. In the end, what will distinguish the various companies offering discounts will be their customer service. So far, Groupon - your customer service is lousy.
I recommend everyone to stay away from goods sold on Groupon, it is impossible to return anything once you purchase it no matter how dissatisfied you may be. This is very poor customer service. But I still think that it is worth buying Groupon for services, but not for goods.
I purchased a coupon and never received the redemption code! They are saying that I used the code the same day I purchased it which is a lie. I've called the company and they assured me that I haven't ever had service from them before. So where did my code go? Do not waste your money here!
Even though ok for Groupon to be late on delivery due to COVID 19 but ask for full refund on defective product one day After allotted 10 day return and told not possible. Don't order bamboo sheets. Waste of money and not as advertised. Throwing sheets out waste of 60 bucks
Tried to buy a dress I liked from likedtoknowit's instagram. It led me to Ideel- I had never heard of this site before. Ordered my dress--they gave me an expected delivery date... the dress never came. I tried to email them and I was supposed to get a response within 24 hours- no response. I used their chat system- they said they filed a claim and will get back to me within a week- never heard back. Tried to contact them via telephone (which is not listed anywhere on their website). Their number rings a few times then takes me to an answering machine. What kind of online company has an answering machine service?! Worst online company I have EVER had to deal with. It's a rip off & scam!
And so it is, I too am writing to weigh in on the disaster that is known as ideeli.com. I placed an order on 12/31/09 for which I received a tracking number. Only problem is per the tracking info the order is being shipped to San Fransisco versus NYC! I have sent several e-mails to ideeli regarding this error asking for a reimbursement of the full order amount - NO RESPONSE. Are we in America? Disgraceful. As another reviewer stated satisfying a customer order in business 101. If I am not reimbursed in 10 business days I'm filing a complaint with the BBB.
Groupon has really gone down hill! There order descriptions are very misleading. Customer service is very hard to communicate with. Once I finally received a response from them a $5 discount was to be placed on my account. It never was.
I made a purchase on Dec. 12th, 2015. It has been over two weeks and I still have not received my item. According to the tracking information, I will have to wait another week.

Do not but the membership for groupon.! I am stuck for 5 months at 4.99 a month. Groupn states that you will get 20 % of this and 10% off this. NOT TRUE! I tried to order 4 things not one did I get 20% off! It is only off of certain things and they are things you probably dont need or want... so I am trying to help you from being stupid like me..
I ordered a 3 piece pet-food bin from Groupon on April 4th and it arrived on April 8th, so far so good. I opened the box and removed the bin and it has a crack in it. I immediately took pictures of the crack and the box just for good measure. I've been trying to find a way to contact Groupon to find out how I can send this back for a replacement but to no avail. The number listed tells you to go to My Stuff under your profile, and from there you should be able to get to where you want to be including contacting someone in customer service. After you've done everything as instructed, you end up back where you started from with no help at all, this is including following instructions online under "Contact Us". I feel like this is a great big scam and I won't be using Groupon again.
I have had a nightmare experience with Printerpix. I have worked with them for two months trying to get the product that I paid for. Now I just want to be done and want my money back from them and Groupon. Groupon basically has not helped me at all. For some reason I thought they would since they introduced me to Printerpix.
Purchased a gift on groupon. 5 days later went in to redeem the voucher. The link provided to purchase did not work. Called customer service 3 times in a row. The first two times, after a long wait and speaking with reps, they cut me off before a resolution was reached. The third time the rep did not cut me off and could not refund my money as it was longer than 3 days. The link still did not work. I asked for a supervisor and the link was not fixed and I still did not get a refund. This took 2 1/2 hours total. They stood firm on the 3 day return policy and offered me a $5 credit on my next purchase. Told them to keep the $5 and I would discontinue using groupon. And the link? Still doesn't work.
I bought a cashmere cape with fox fur trim for $499. Instead i was sent a gray cheap dress! I called 3 times and sent 6 emails regarding this matter. They would not credit my card till they received the wrong merchandise back, as though the dress was worth $499. They also will not credit the $10 shipping they charged me for sending the wrong merchandise. I have purchase so much merchandise from them but as soon as something goes wrong you do not hear back from them. The recording says they will call back in 24 hours yet 2 weeks later no call! Do not buy from them!

This site is trash! I bought an item 2 weeks ago for my son for Christmas (with in 2 weeks) and when I called to check the status, they said that it won't be here by then. I tried to reach them by phone and the waiting time is from 50-60 minutes. If you leave your number to get a call back, you get a call when you are not expecting it and if you work, you will miss it. I requested a refund to buy the gift to my child for Christmas and guess what? The refund also will get here after Christmas.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
