First of all most of their stuff is crap. Merchants who can't get customers to pay full price trying to drum up business via Groupon. Second, there's the expiration date - in my case it was a class and I couldn't get a match with the seller and he walked on it. Groupon won't give me my money back even though it says they will in the contract. Instead they issue Groupon Bucks which makes you buy additional items you don't need that are usually offered in multiples at a "discount" price that is basically offset by the shipping charge. A cheap company and a cheap operation. Stay away.
Can. Reccomended. Good customer. Service and never I. The five years have I been. Let down. Great company any problems you have are dealt with asap. Always resolved. I absolutely trust them based on my own. Experience.
Anytime I order "goods" from Groupon, the order is either incorrect, missing something, or says it was delivered and never was. Their customer service is minimal at best and they do not provide any reference numbers for discussions. Too many third party vendors and Gropuon doesn't take accountability.
Worst customer service ever! They sold me a product that was wrongly advertised, it was then a HUGE muck around to get my money back! The whole process involved them making 6 mistakes - I've never had such a bad experience as a customer and would never trust this company again. I thought I had bought a leather satchel - a great deal, was really looking forwards to receiving my bag. But although I'd put in all my details, and the transaction, made through Paypal (which I never have a problem with) seemed to go through ok, I received no email receipt.
Seemed odd, so I looked at my Groupon account and saw the order was recorded there. Phoned up Groupon - who said they'd had problems with the transaction and immediately cut me off. Checked paypal and no record of the transaction.
Phoned back. This time they asked for a credit card. I said no - I didn't trust them, it was my first experience of using Groupon, please use Paypal. Then it transpired that the bag was only now available in a different size and colour. They asked again for a card and I said no and asked them to cancel my Groupon account. They said they would - but cut me off again. I think this is a company to avoid.
DO NOT USE! Had nothing but trouble from light bulbs to multi gyms I have had to contact customer services on all products the latest being a home gym £450 which is the size of half my garage! After nearly a month I've been told it's been lost in transit! Haha it's ok though because they've offered to refund me with bloody groupon credit! Luckily used credit card which will refund properly another instance was a mattress after nearly a month of back and forth they cancelled my order due to suspicious activity they are a joke of a company
Looks like a deal and if it works it's a discount... if it doesn't get getting restitution from Groupon WONT HAPPEN!
There is no direct communication. Customer service is chat or emails. Answers are more. Pre written. They do not give refunds on credit card paid but offer Groupon bucks! They took double the amount from my debit card (charged twice) and won't refund the money.
It's a nightmare. I wound up purchasing the item regular price. I paid extra but worth less aggrevation. This business should be put out if business. Also When. U do get a voucher code and they to use it... only valid with certain terms which does not make the deal a deal.
I don't understand how this website can have such bad reviews? I'm from Southern California & I ordered my ray bans September 22nd and received them today which is September 26! Less than a week! Groupon is holding my money forcing me to take a credit in groupon bucks for a hotel stay that was canceled because of the hotel being closed. My Groupon stated if the reservation was canceled 7 days in advance (4/26/2020) I would be refunded. Now they are stating that no longer applies? They have turned their phone systems off forcing you to chat online. This is the worst experience ever. I'm highly disappointed in this million dollar company. I've tried to handle this with a customer service rep but I didn't get anywhere. Anybody else having the same issue?
The process of buying the voucher was smooth enough. They are happy to take you money but if things go wrong with the service/product provider then don't expect a reply. I had something go wrong with my voucher and contacted Groupon about getting a refund. They didnt reply to my first email and also didn't bother to reply my second. At the very least they should respond!
I would not suggest this site as there is absolutely no after sales support. I've used others sites who have responded and refunded me when things went wrong. I won't name the site in case people think that I'm working for that company. This post is meant to warn people of Groupon but not the voucher concept.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
