Always great food! I like how they separate the food into individual paper bags which makes cooking and figuring out portions a breeze. I also like the big card they use for each meal. My 10 year old and 14 year old's both can make a dinner from start to finish without help (although I do stay in the kitchen while the stove/oven is on;-).
Cheating & Fooling New Customer Last week I have seen their offer for new subscription for $21.96 for 4 meals in a week, but NO WHERE they have mentioned that the subscription will be doubled from 2nd week onwards. They have charged $45.46 for 2nd week. After checking with their call centre support, he said that they have added shipping, handling, packaging, etc? So why its not been cleared in their communication on 1st instance only, why kepy all hidden and cheating/fooling customers? Pathetic experience
First box arrived with meat leaking all over the rest of the food items in the box. Called Hello Fresh and reported it, they said they would credit the account. After a few more deliveries, things got a little better, but still no credit. Called and asked when this would be applied and I was told when you have an order that does not have any discounts on it. So they continued to add tiny discounts on every overpriced order to avoid having to provide the credit. Lied to us every time we talked to them. I canceled the service and they sent another box anyway and charged my card. The last delivery had leaks and the food was covered in some kind of slime. Hello Fresh is a rip off and customer service is a joke. Don't waste your time and money with these people.

They were charging my credit card twice, when I'd call to let them know I'd get a rep who refused to help. They wouldn't look into it or anything! Not sure why they pay people to NOT do customer service.
Very gluten/carb heavy and you can't opt out. Meals take FOREVER to make. NOT faster than going to the grocery store and making on my own.
They only have a few veggie options and it was ALWAYS the same! We got green beans 90% of the time, and they were only not rotten one time.

I am appalled that they require MY credit card to redeem a gift card. Their "customer service" person suggested I tell the person who gave it to me and they would get a refund. REALLY? It was a generous gift in the first place, and now I am going to insult the giver because of a company's bad policy?
There are too many alternatives out there. This one is not nice to deal with.
Most meals are very good. I've had missing ingredients 3 times and had to think what to substitute. My biggest complaint is customer service. When I try calling, they always refer you to e-mailing complaints, so this I do with no response. The missing item, I expect an apology. The other complaint that gets no answer is that for Christmas, I bought full price 3gift certificates for my kids. Two daughters subscribed after trying the product, my son has yet to try his gift box. I figure that the two should be considered referrals and I should be rewarded. They never answer that request. I also have given the certificates that came in my boxes to other friends, however I don't know if they subscribed or not.
ZERO STARS! Customer service hung up on me twice, the third gentleman at least acknowledged the system was screwed up.
Even though I prepicked my orders for several weeks out, their system WILL change your order the week of. I was told the "easiest" thing for me to do is just make sure I recheck the order just before the cutoff. Ummmm... I need to watch your program to ensure you don't change my meals? I paid over $117 this week and only received 3 meals, 2 of which I can't even eat.
Customer service could see my meals were changed and only offered a credit through HelloFresh. I've cancelled the service after 13 weeks. This has happened twice and I'm sick of it! Looking for recommendations for a meal delivery service ASAP.
Website not user friendly. Not worth the money for the food received. For $69 I could buy lobster, shrimp and steak instead of the 2 small pork chops, 2 even smaller thinner chicken breasts and 1 very small piece of steak. I contacted customer service to deactivate my account only to find they again charged my account. I spoke to them again and they assured me the account was now closed but would not refund the money. This is a scam.
Food delivery are not great in Industrial area as the food delivery will left on sidewalk unattended to rats with my case. Hard to cancel even with numerous attemps via-email seems unhonour. Food are not prepared and need full cooking in all cases. Disatisfaction from deliveries to professtional help. Not recomanded to anyone who does not have cooking facility, personal attentive to deliveries, food are not really great and doubt about sanitatary as despatcher will leave food packages on addressee vacnity unnotice.

My very first box had one completely wrong meal and the other meal was missing the meat! I tried contacting customer experience and it was very frustrating experience. They wouldn't refund my money and would only give me a credit for 5 weeks when my intro period was over. The agent was sarcastic and not at all helpful. I have canceled Hello Fresh and hope to find a better meal service that actually sends the meals and ingredients ordered. A total rip off!
I have ordered hello fresh meals regularly for quite some time. This time they are sending a box, charging me $70, that I do not want as we don't eat anything being delivered. I did not make any choices for this box. I called and explained this, they said it is my job to skip each week or you will automatically be charged. They do not send an email or alert when you are scheduled to receive a box, so you have no opportunity to modify or cancel. Keep this is mind, just in case you have a job or family like me and hello fresh is NOT the first thing on your mind. It's an app. Absolutely ridiculous that they will not do anything for a loyal customer of years. This is the first time this happened. You should not have to skip each week, on the contrary, you should have to approve each week. Their customer service department is good for nothing.

DO NPT USE HELLO FRESH! They don't tell you upfront you're in a subscription. And after the first month they start charging you full price which is double what you paid before. You might as well rounded up to almost $200 for a box of food. I called and called and pleaded to speak to a supervisor. No one cared. No one offered to put a supervisor on the phone. And now I have to wait 24 hours for a supervisor to call me. And there is no guarantee I'm getting my $170 back That I did not authorize nor did I agree to. Share this post and make it go viral. Companies like this should not be allowed to operate. Plus the food was not that good. And they tried everything to keep me from canceling my subscription. What ever you do, don't waste your money. Poor communication and lack of empathy.

I went to the HelloFresh site to look at what they offered. They required me to put in all of my information, including payment, before I could look at the meal selections. I noticed the cart already had three meals in it that I did not choose or want. I am immediately canceled my subscription and was still charged for the meals that I deleted out of my cart. Hello fresh customer service was totally unhelpful, so I contacted the Better Business Bureau. The three meals that I did not order came and were incomplete (meat and veggies only… No rice and some seasonings were missing). They also sent the incorrect recipe cards for the meals. The portions of meat for two people is not adequate, and certainly not worth the price. I did get a full refund through my complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I know some have had success with this service, but I find the company and their policies unethical with many shortcomings. They got almost nothing right and, while representatives are nice, they don’t really fix anything. I do better grocery shopping and getting new recipes from the internet

I am a trucker. I was delivering to hello fresh product to the Atlanta headquarters. I spent 6 hours and no one was available for letting me know when they would take there product off the truck. Before I was told that they had no room to get there product. So this order of food would be older just sitting on the truck. Hello spoiled should be the name of this company. Do not trust you are better off with out even thinking of trying there products. Now there are 6 trucks waiting with food on them! Be ware!

Beware - TERRIBLE customer service. I ordered this for my grandparents to try because I was sent a 40.00 coupon to sign up. My grandmother was admitted to the hospital with no date of when she is expected to get home. I called and tried to cancel their first box as they will not be there (because she is in the hospital) and they were not willing to help! I understand that they have policies, but since the box had not shipped you would think they could have helped just once. They are spending LOTS of money marketing to customers like us and rather then keeping one and canceling one box for a total of $29.00 they lost her as a customer and myself. I would never do business with a company that has no compassion. Seems like a silly "policy" over $29.00!
We have ordered 7 boxes from them and only 3 of those boxes ever made it to our house. If we call, they will say stuff like "ooo it's in the mail room" (umm we live in a house, we don't have a mail room). They also return it to a warehouse quite often and then tell us the box spoiled so therefore it will not be delivered. If you chat them, it's just a BOT if you call them, it's a person who barely speaks English who just apologizes and says we can give you a credit for next week.
My first and second orders with HelloFresh were absolutely wonderful: fresh produce, measured ingredients, an easy-to-follow and fun recipe, and appropriately wrapped to ensure freshness. The nightmare occurred when I was charged over $1800. 00 in one day for one week's meals. When I attempted to resolve it with MANY PHONE CALLS, each time I called I was told that there were no extra charges, yet my bank account (which was in the red as a result of this) showed otherwise. When I sent emails to them showing the bank account statement, they told me that they needed more, that the bank would need to call them. It is a shame because the product itself is exceptional; yet, many of the customer service representatives (not all) kept me running in circles, and there was little concern or sense of urgency to help me resolve this. I have not heard anything from HelloFresh regarding an apology for the financial mess that they created. I have only received standard requests for ratings.
This company should be fine and put out of business. You have to pay before you order your meals and there are limited choices. Nothing like what they show you before. The good choices you have to pay extra for and I mean a lot extra. If you order anything with vegs they are old and wilted. Please don't

This is the second time I have had a membership. I cancelled the first time after a few months. I joined again becuase they sent me promises of discounted meals again in succession. The first meal was $37.16 for 4 meals for 4 people (really only feeds 3- portions are small). I skipped 4 weeks and ordered again. I was not able to see the total charge on the app for some reason. So, I just assumed I would get another stepped down discount as promised and as was done the last time I joined. This recent order was $159.63. I called and argued and was basically told- "too bad" and they did nothing. Never again! I feel stolen from!
Hello Customer Service?
Nothing but troubles here. Tried Hello Fresh for the first time last week and one box was missing. Called in and they applied a partial credit. Box scheduled today never makes it to our front door. Ended up sitting all day in the Texas sun in front of someone else's porch. So what does a call to the customer service team yield? A 15 minute wait to talk to a supervisor and having to call back only to be told that they can only send a new box later in the week. Geez- seriously. 3 strikes and your out. Have not had a bad experience like this in a long time. The right thing to do is to cancel the order, refund the funds and try to win my trust back. Disputing the charges now and won't be spending my money there any longer.
I would give 0 stars if I could. I had nothing but problems with this company. They sent food to my old address several times after I gave them my new address. They gave me a credit for it and took it away.
They, then, sent me another box out of the blue and charged me for it. Don't waste your time and money.

I was enticed by the 1/2 price first box deal, so I thought I'd give hellofresh a shot.
Even at half price it was a disappointing amount of groceries, I could buy the same at Aldi for $25 no problems, and it would take Jesus to get 6 meals out of its contents!
The customer service was equally poor, despite me cancelling the minute I opened my first box (10:00 monday night) they still insisted on charging me for next Monday's delivery?! These guys are hopeless, and I now have to go through the office of Fair Trading to contest the $70 for the delivery that I never wanted, and could not even use as I was away. If you really want to order groceries just use Coles or Woolies and order what you will actually use.
They don't let you see true cost of the meals until you sign up and then you see that all the Meat Proteins are much more, something like 10 to 15 dollars more for each serving. I can buy an entire stake a the store for 15 dollars, why am I paying that for a chicken add on.
