Always great food! I like how they separate the food into individual paper bags which makes cooking and figuring out portions a breeze. I also like the big card they use for each meal. My 10 year old and 14 year old's both can make a dinner from start to finish without help (although I do stay in the kitchen while the stove/oven is on;-).
Cheating & Fooling New Customer Last week I have seen their offer for new subscription for $21.96 for 4 meals in a week, but NO WHERE they have mentioned that the subscription will be doubled from 2nd week onwards. They have charged $45.46 for 2nd week. After checking with their call centre support, he said that they have added shipping, handling, packaging, etc? So why its not been cleared in their communication on 1st instance only, why kepy all hidden and cheating/fooling customers? Pathetic experience
NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN! Buyers Beware! I thought this would be a great alternative to shopping and cooking while my husband is deployed. The portions are indeed small. Delivery is prompt; however, I canceled the service to prevent orders while my husband was home. They continued to ship to us despite several conversations and assurance the plan was canceled. We continued to get billed as well. I would not recommend this service nor will I do any subscription service again. Racket.
If you redeem a free box offered by someone they will put you on a subscription plan and will charge you without warning or email: they automatically put you on subscription when you sign up. Then they tell you to get lost when you complain. I might have decided to use them when I have more regular work shedule but will definitely not, ever.
We ordered hellofresh for the first time and No cheese. On two of the dishes the cheese was missing. The fist evening we could use our cheese the second evening we did run out of cheese. A bad start and we canceled the service immediately.

Boxes have came missing all proteins, rotten produce, missing recipie cards, missing spices.
I have had this for 3 weeks and every single week something has happened.
This has caused me more irritation than convince.

This company is an absolute nightmare to work with! Do NOT sign up! I got signed up at the mall and was told that this was super flexible, etc. NOT TRUE! Instead, I got sent crap food anyway that I cannot eat due to having Lupus and the online chat moron only followed a script and had no clue how to fix it! Absolutely the most frustrating and inconvenient service I have ever encountered! I told them I wanted a refund since I haven't received anything and they refused! I am going to my bank to block this service! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
I have been considering using Hello Fresh. Great concept. I signed up for Hello Fresh with a deal for 4 weeks. Great choice of menu and my husband and I ordered our meals. Today we have been waiting for delivery. Delivery was between 12 am and 7am I contacted customer service and was advised there was a problem at the depot and now delivery can be up to 3pm. It would have been quicker to have gone to the supermarket and still have time to go out. No I have been waiting best part of all Sunday for delivery. I am concerned of the quality was delivery is received. I will add later. I have been refunded cost of box but it is no compensation for the time wasted. It is not good doing promotions and signing up customers if they cannot provide the goods on time.

My ordered was eventually delivered 2.08pm. I am pleased the packaging and quality of produce. We are looking forward to trying these meals.
Twice this happened! Got a email to sign back up for half off 1st box. A 'we miss you ' promo. Says all you have to do us reactivate to and half off it auto applied. Both times I was charged full price. 1st time they asked for a copy of the marketing email whigh luckily i didn't delete, it was just a regular marketing email. 2nd time they emailed me and said instead of refunding me, they'll give me a credit for the $34.50. So first they're trying to scam you hoping u don't notice the full charge. Then when you notice they try to make it inconvenient or not possible to get the refund. A different customer may accept the credit and they win there. Not me. Plus their food is the worst of all of them. Blue apron is 10x better.
Avoid this joke of a company that takes your money before you can even see what's available, and then refuse to refund you when you cancel the order & subscription long before their so called order deadline but make a whole host of excuses that the order or subscription has not been cancelled even when using the links provided on their own site, absolute low life!
I personally know friends and family that use it have used this service with mixed reviews, mostly pathetically small servings, items missing and meals not even delivered and a serious lack of customer support to rectify any concerns or issues once the have taken the money for so called meals!
There are far better food box deliveries on Google with far better service and reviews than this joke of a company.
Sooner this lot disappears the better for everyone!
Watch for the pathetic response stating they did everything they could to help and offer a 50% refund when they're clearly in the wrong.

I bought 3 meals for 2 on Groupon for $29. I had to go to the website to use the Groupon but they never credited me for my Groupon and charged me full price for the meal. And then they charged me for a second order that I never received. I canceled me subscriptions online but it was reactivated by their "chat" customer service agent without my permission. Do not order from them.
Customer service is the only good thing about this company. Otherwise good is decent, not great. Oh. And my last box came with a GERMAN COCKROACH IN IT. I thought this food delivery service was supposed to convenience my life, but now I'm inconvenienced with having to hire an exterminator to come spray my house.

I have stopped our subscription
The food is crap, ingridients look bad and even smell bad. I threw everything away to the garbage bin and even my dog refused to eat it. And as it happened to many other customers, they continued to charge my card and send boxes I blocked my card and informed them that I am not going to pay any cent to them. They start to threaten me that they will contact collector agency what made me laugh. Now, I am going to contact Paypal and ask for refund from them.
I ordered June 23 from HELLOFRESH.COM. I authorize a one time charge for my order. JUNE 25 I see on my bank acct. That they help theirselves to charge my acct for unknown charges. I called canceled membership. Requested reimbursement for second charge they refuse say that is because you got premium meals. If this charge would of been on the order I would not of placed the order. This company caught my attention because they STATE you can join and get 16 free meals and free shipping. LIE LIE LIE. The company helps their self to your paying acct. With hidden charges that don't come up in placing order. BIG CON. I have paid 80.00 for food I haven't tasted nor seen. WARNING: turn back don't join. Good place to throw money if you have it t throw.
I ordered a trial of Hello Fresh and was excited for its arrival. On opening the first package the plant based pulled pork and mixed leaves were missing, the second had the plant Parmessan missing and the third Greek Yoghurt and Haloumi. All the expensive ingredients were absent. Buyer beware. Very disappointed

I got a postcard in the mail to restart my subscription at a very good price. I logged on to Hello Fresh, put in the coupon code, checked it out, decided it wasn't for me. I then got an email that said welcome back. I responded to the email that I did not come back, I do not want to be back, do not charge me, and do not send me a box. They charged me, sent me a box, and today I got another box for which they charged me regular price (not even the discounted code that I was sent). I called and spoke to them. They still don't have in my account that it is canceled. Even though I have the emails that verified I canceled. They refuse to credit back my card that they charged. I have reported them as fraudulent to my bank.
My daughter attempted to restart them and she was very dissatisfied. Many items were missing and meat items were coming spoiled. I will never ever use hello fresh again and I highly highly recommend no one else ever signs up for them.
I entered all my card data to place an order. I discovered you could not select diet restrictions, so I left the order incomplete. Without any email order verification, or any notice, they pulled the amount of the subscription out of my checking, completed the order, and sent the food in a wet, tore up box. When I contacted them to cancel the subscription, delete the account information and reimburse my account, they refused to reimburse. I had to cancel my debit card. Request a new debit card, in order to stop payment. They are extremely dishonest. DO NOT GIVE THEM CARD INFORMATION.
My son was victim of hello fresh. As a student he was convinced to sign up but mealboxes where not deliverd / received and he was 'sold" a weekly package of 3 mealboxes for 3 persons a week while he is a single student.
When wanting to talk to hello fresh they do not give any information nor allow to have a standard discussion on the topic. The phone was closed without any notice.

On August 12,2021 I noticed a pending charge on my credit card for this company. I called to see why and was told that a box would ship out on August 16th. I requested to cancel any and all items because I did not want anything and wanted to cancel before anything was shipped. I was told nothing would ship and they would credit it back to my credit card. I never received a credit, so I called back today to just have someone tell me that it was credited back on August 12th, which I assured them it was not. I feel like this company gets your information, charges you and you never receive any food or a credit for what they charge!
Was a day late to change my order as I was not in town, tried to get contact support to help me cancel the order. They said they can't because they don't want food waste... but It is getting wasted anyway because I cant even use it! Will not even give me a refund...$100 down the drain. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I have used Hello Fresh for over a year and recently had someone steal my credit card so I called my bank and had it canceled. I had 2 meals coming from Hello Fresh and they said that we wouldn't receive it or be charged due to our credit card not working. They sent the meals anyway and charged us $87.56 for TWO meals for two servings. I called customer service and they told me that they can update their policy at any time that they see fit. I ended up paying the money for the meals for about $44 a meal and honestly, it wasn't worth it, but didn't want debt collectors coming after me. Please don't let them rip you off like they did me. It is so expensive and they make it at first seem like you are saving money but in reality they put a lot of service charges on stuff.
I have gone through the online prompts for cancellation 2 times, had an internet chat confirming cancellation, and AM STILL BEING CHARGED! Very shady company, don't utilize them unless you are okay with them just taking money from your account after you cancel.

Just started using Hello Fresh. Have received 5 meals. Unfortunately 2 of them are missing ingredients. The "fresh" veggies are pathetic. Repeated calls don't get a response.
I have been getting Helli Fresh deliveries for about a year now, the last few months even before the corona virus pandemic, they were not hitting the mark, missing ingredients, missing meals now I have been waiting almost a week for a deli ever that was supposed to be here on Wednesday. I then track my delivery to see where it is and FEd EX says the shipped it back to the shipper. NO Communication whatsoever! I will NEVER use this service again!
First time user and first box experience. Late order, completely wrong meals eventually delivered, the box soggy, wet and falling apart, lied to by their customer service that I could cancel and just needed to wait for the box to arrive. Then after I took off work because the box was delivered late, I was told it was "too late" to cancel now. Omg what liars. "PLEASE GIVE US ONE CHANCE TO DELIVER ON TIME OR WE'LL REFUND YOU" Sick business do not recommend under any circumstances. Overall horrible experience with not a single positive thing to say. Took my money and they closed my account when I asked for the refund they promised. Horrible. Run away

I was not informed that they had taken money out of my account, it had been on hold. They just took the money out, and when I called them, they refused to refund my money and the customer service person said the shipment had shipped, that was a lie, it just shipped today not yesterday. I do not recommend them to anyone, I am sick with the remnants of Covid and told that to the person on the phone, I cannot taste food so why would I want the food sent to me? Now I will be stuck with food and out the money that I need now for other things, like food for my pets. NEVER EVER will be back. Awful company.
