Buyer Beware

BUYERS BEWARE:

Unfortunately I did not read the reviews prior to ordering $250 of product from this company nor did I check with the BBB. They have numerous complaints for the same thing i. E, taking your money and not shipping products for 2 months or perhaps no product at all. They kept my money for over a month. Alfter 15 emails and 3 phone calls to disconnected numbers, I requested refund. Still nothing. This company needs to be investigated for deceptive and unfair business practices. I finally was able to get Amazon to refund my money. If you haven't gotten a refund or your order, I suggest contacting The BETTER BUSINESS Bureau OR the following. I plan to do both. Good luck. You're going to need it.

Terrible!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HOUSE OF BEAUTY! I PURCHASED AN 100$ ITEM AS A FATHERS DAY GIFT ON MAY 21st 2020. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE PACKAGE IT IS JUNE 16th 2020. I HAVENT RECEIVED A REFUND. I HAVENT RECIEVED A TRACKING NUMBER. I HAVENT RECIEVED AN UPDATE THROUGH EMAIL. I CANT EVEN CONTACT THEIR BUSINESS LINE. THIS OS RIDICULOUS. BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR MONEY

AVOID!

Let me preface this review by saying that I understand that businesses are incapable of functioning as normal, due to Covid-19. I fully expect and understand that online orders will take longer than normal, and that staffing is probably cut in half, if not more so.

That being said...

I placed an online order on April 30th, and received it on June 17th. So essentially a month and a half to revive my order.
Fine. The part that I'm furious about is the fact that a portion of my order was missing, despite the fact that I was charged, fully. I have been emailing House if Beauty since that day, June 17th, to let them know about the missing items, and asked that I either be refunded or can they please send me what is missing. I have received no response, to date. I have since emailed them two more times, to which, again, I have received zero response. Yet, I receive promotional emails from them on almost a daily basis, telling me that I need to take advantage of all of their great sales. Are you kidding me?!? House of Beauty owes me $22.90 and at this point, I'm not confident that I will ever see my money refunded or the missing products. Avoid, avoid, AVOID! If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

Shipment takes over two months. Cannot reach customer service for two months. Please beware don't shop here. Unable to return the shipment that I longer need because I cannot reach customer service.

UPS did not deliver my package. After leaving a v/m with House of Beauty a week prior and sending an email that went unanswered I was finally able to get someone on the phone- The girl I spoke to was very rude and blamed me for it. She kept cutting me off when I was talking and she wouldn't let me explain. I even sent examples of what their "tracking system" showed- it confirmed I had no direction at all on where my package was or what to do, there wasn't a phone number or anything (I live in a very large city with multiple franchise UPS locations that do not communicate w/ each other- no one knew where my package was). House of Beauty refused to refund my purchase, so I had to file a dispute w/ my credit card. House of Beautys solution was for me to repay for shipping, then they would send me the items again. I will never do any business w/ them again and I caution anyone that does... If your package isn't delivered it will cost you. And be weary, this same company operates several sites under different names!

Dissatisfied customer

My order took 6weeks even though I paid for faster shipping. I contacted you immediately after receiving on July 22. I have not heard back from you. I am attaching a photo of the hair I purchased from you along side of the packs I purchased from 200 miles away from my house, traveling to Denver Colorado to purchase the correct color hair.
As you can see the hair I received by you, which is evidenced by your bar code which is visible.
The hair is not the color I ordered, not by your fault but by the company that packages the hair. Both packages say this is the same color 51. But they are extremely different. Yet I am the customer, why should I be the one left unsatisfied. They got their money, you got your money, but I, the one that paid for this useless order, am now stuck with a product that I can not use.
Not only did I receive the wrong product, but I usually get a discount because I purchased over 10 items. So if you look at my purchase history you can see that I have never paid as much as I have paid with my last order, my last useless order.
I am very dissatisfied with the service I have received from your company this time
I have been a loyal customer for years.
But I will not be ordering from you again.

Fraudulent Company

My order was missing 3 items when it arrived. There was no email communication or message explaining why the items were missing and I was charged the full amount.

On the printed packing list that came with my package, there was a handwritten ‘x' and ‘refund' scribbled on the missing items.

I was charged for the whole order and have been waiting for the refund since May 24th. It's now August 7th. I have repeatedly called both numbers listed (website and Facebook page) and emailed House of Beauty but have not received a response.

Since I have not received the products and was still charged (with no refund) this amounts to theft/fraud.

Unfortunately it appears I'm not the only one. House of Beauty has been reported with the BBB and has a poor rating. Additionally, there are multiple customers who have noted the same experience I had on the company's Facebook page.

I do not recommend purchasing from House of Beauty and honestly wish I'd done more research on the company before ordering. This is a 0/10 customer experience.

House of Beauty attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

I ordered a wig on 7/26/18 and as of today I can't even get a tracking #. When I contact them I get the same "standard" reply on a couple of occasions: We apologize for the delay but you will be receiving a tracking number soon" I asked if my wig was out of stock? And that issue was NEVER addressed. I asked to have my order cancelled and now I have to wait 7-10 days to get my money back when it was taken instantly when I placed the order. I WILL NEVER AS LONG AS I BREATHE ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN! I needed my item to wear two days from now. Now I have to spend more money to get something else! I should have stayed with my other wig websites that deliver within one week but I decided to give HouseofBeautyWorld a try. Also google your product before you purchase from them as I found other websites with the same product and it was $10 cheaper. Ripoffs!

I ordered a nail set on the 15th of May, I was told it would be delivered by the 25th, it's now the 13th of June. I've tried emailing for weeks, calling, contacting through their website, and I have had no reply! On the tracking they provided it's been in the same place for 4 weeks, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE! It is a scam!
