Hulu is a fantastic streaming service with a diverse range of content, including current TV shows, classic movies, and original programming. The ability to watch new episodes of my favorite shows shortly after they air is a major plus. The ad-supported tier offers great value, although I wish there were fewer commercials during playback
I've tried most of the movie sites and Hulu is by far the absolute worst. The website itself is slow and difficult to navigate. Their disabling of right-click makes it even worse. Movies stop at random places to load, ruining the continuity of the movie. And trying to skip ahead or back stops the movie outright for anywhere from several seconds to half a minute. You can't even pause a movie where you want because of the delay. Subtitles are out of sync with video on most movies. You have to pay to watch the movies, and then pay again if you want to watch them without ads. Even the free bootleg movie sites work better than Hulu. I tried their free trial so at least this poor experience did not cost me anything.
I like the concept of watching tv shows online, but its pretty sad that there are more commercials on hulu than what is actually on TV. DVR at least allows you to fast forward through commercials.
Signed up for free trial week of Hulu +Live TV. Process took about five minutes. My purpose was to watch mostly sports programs. The first program selected was on NBCSN. Everything was good for 30 seconds then audio disappeared for few seconds and about 10 seconds later picture and audio dropped because it started to buffer. After the first buffer the process repeated every 2 to 3 minutes and continued for more than an hour. During that time I checked two more hulu channels and they also buffered.
YouTube 4K and Netflix 4K HDR never buffer. Audio and video were out of sync by more than 40 seconds at times. Network is hardwired to TV with 120mbs download speed.
What a miserable experience. Would never recommend hulu to anyone.
Why should I pay for a service with repeated commercials every 2 minutes and I can't get through one episode without having to reset my system because it freezes up! STAY WITH NETFLIX! Hulu is a waste of time and money!
I used to really like Hulu, I think they offer a different variety compared to Netflix. However, I don't like that I pay for this service and still have NUMEROUS commercials, as well as the fact that the operating system is terrible. I watch from my phone, and say I have to take a phone call in the middle of watching, Hulu doesn't save my spot, it starts literally all the way from the beginning and I have to rewatch all those damn commercials. I am currently trying to watch the new season of Bachelor in Paradise and it has booted me off 7 times now and then reloaded on it's own. Disappointed as I don't have cable and can deal with the commercials even though Netflix doesn't have that hassle, but now it can't even fully play a show without having multiple issues.

I pay $50/mo for live TV. I have 200mbps down, and there is NO reason why it should be constantly buffering and loading bad quality. I'm running on an Apple TV. No it's not my connection, I'm not a fkn idiot, I'm very tech savy.
On top of that they wont let me watch from the hulu app on my phone while I'm on the plane because I have to "unblock the device from home" WTF?
The 4 location resets per year is $#*!ing stupid. Im VERY close to terminating my service, this is just bull$#*! at this point.
Can't watch anything on Hulu with a logo down at the bottom or any corner of the screen as it will create a burn in. Many new televisions are now having this type of issue.
Hulu promise to stream all the new show don't go for that they show 3 or 4 time then skip 3 times again enough there customers service is a joke they never have the right answer the answer you get is Hulu could not by the whole season from the network witch is funny if the shows has been going for ages why can't they buy? I got tired of high prices tho cable compiles and thought I could live with watching shows a day late, then come to find out some shows only let them have the 1st season and that sucked not being able to finish a slow but I did like that I could let the kids watch a show and I could watch a grown up show, after 4 yrs they stopped letting me do that so I went to hulu support just to be told it's always been their policy to only let one device watch, so I'm looking into other options really not worth the 8 dollars a month for half of the episodes n no hd
Hulu works ok most of the time but when you have a big game (broncos vs. patriots) that you are watchoing and the channel goes down there is no tech support and figuring anything out is almost impossible and frustrating. Spend the money on cable or ANY OTHER SERVICE. HULU is crap
I pay $45 a month for Hulu and can't even watch an on-demand movie without seeing 4 minutes of commercials at a time. It's absolutely ridiculous. This will be my last month of subscription
I would much rather Netflix over Hulu anyday, at least when you search for a movie or show on Netflix the results will show what you CAN watch instead... Upgrade to a plan that's more than double your current price and then, only then are you able to watch Hulu's shows that are on your screen. Unfortunately this does not even work, they want you to pay over $30.00 on top of your original payment - and you still can't watch what you may be looking for. In my opinion DON NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT pay anything for Hulu, they are the full definition of a SCAM!
I have Hulu through Verizon, I tried to upgrade to stop gay commercials from showing, but I can't do it though Verizon, we have kids in the house and I do not want my kids to watch that. Sorry but Hulu suck
We got Hulu plus to watch TV and they MAKE you watch commercials, you cannot fast forward during the commercials. I bet TONS of people cancel it. I HATE watching commercials, I dvr shows just to skip through them. We are going back to AT&T until the new streaming TV comes out. I know 12 percent that cancelled Hulu because of the freaking adds!
I downloaded Hulu in order to watch a few shows that Netflix doesn't offer. It was good at first paying $5.99 a month, I was fine with loud commercials (and commercials in general) but now this "Hulu plus live TV" whatever is the last straw for me.
I had one specific show that brought me to Hulu...'Ghost Adventures' on the travel channel. I just happened to have some free time to watch some more episodes and Hulu took off the show I was watching and moved it to their Hulu live TV program, which is $64.99 A MONTH.
Definitely not happening, ever since the stupid 'Damelio show' which coincidentally is no extra charge, this platform has really shown it only cares about overnight trends and fast money... hence bringing up the subscription by a dollar for half the shows requiring the $64 program. Make it make sense...
In the end I would not recommend Hulu to anyone until they fix this problem and take the $64.99 junk plan off, and put it back how it used to be. Severely disappointed, it was a decent platform for a few months I will be cancelling my membership.

Seems to be a lot of streaming issues, ie; paused programming, very slow updates on recorded shows, lots of lag time on network series programs, too many homosexual displays on the screen, etc.

They will raise the price and double the ads. What a great service. There are better choices than to spend most of your entertainment time watching ads.
For me my service with Hulu was only OK, I've had more issues with simply watching it on my smart TV. While every other app via Wi-Fi is working fine my Hulu plus wouldn't load or it would stop and not reload. Technical assistance is to turn off TV, unplug from the wall, check Wi-Fi connection, wait 10 minutesplig back in, wait for tv to load which takes up to 5 more minutes. It is a pain for me especially because I have a non weight bearing foot injury and LCL tear on opposite leg. It works better on my phone but let's face it watching Hulu on a 50" or 5" which would you choose?
I'm with you, 50 is better so for now we will stick with Netflix with more reliable service.
Site times out a lot and i counted 13 commercial ads on one show i watched. Most ads repeats and controversial, some i may deem inappropriate for my kids. To me not worth cost until they step up.
For years I tolerated the commercials because the had good programming, GREAT classic TV and movies and during the holidays they also had GREAT holiday movies.
The 'new' hulu has very few of the programming choices that appeal to me and my family. I just searched "Christmas Movies" and "Holiday Movies" and NOT EVEN ONE decent movie is listed, just modern GARBAGE.
When I went to their 'new' website, there was no "LOGIN" button or ANY way to login anywhere on the entire page! I had to look up their phone number to call and cancel my account!
My last payment was taken on the Oct 29th... now today, 20th, they took payment again! I contacted them with no help other than them saying " you were not billed twice" that was not at all what i was complaining about! I was complaining about them taking money whenever they please. I requested my money back and canceled my service completely.

Used to be a great service, but they are horrible now. Cuts out constantly and now the last 2 nights I can't even watch my news on FOX NEWS (libtards suck) cause it tells me channels aren't available. And their customer service doesn't even care. I just canceled, they wont be around long at the rate they are going.
PS. I switched to Youtube TV from Hulu and it is much better. It works great for me, doesn't make you watch most comercials, and now is cheaper than Hulu. Honestly my only complaint is I hate giving my money to Google, but it's not like Comcast is any less of a libtardo company.
