Hulu is a fantastic streaming service with a diverse range of content, including current TV shows, classic movies, and original programming. The ability to watch new episodes of my favorite shows shortly after they air is a major plus. The ad-supported tier offers great value, although I wish there were fewer commercials during playback
I've tried most of the movie sites and Hulu is by far the absolute worst. The website itself is slow and difficult to navigate. Their disabling of right-click makes it even worse. Movies stop at random places to load, ruining the continuity of the movie. And trying to skip ahead or back stops the movie outright for anywhere from several seconds to half a minute. You can't even pause a movie where you want because of the delay. Subtitles are out of sync with video on most movies. You have to pay to watch the movies, and then pay again if you want to watch them without ads. Even the free bootleg movie sites work better than Hulu. I tried their free trial so at least this poor experience did not cost me anything.
I'm patient and I don't mind ADS, but come on the same ADS over, and over, and over, and over. Then if it's not loading the ads, then it's just loading from LAGGING. So annoying! The other complaint, although it has the most recent episode available it doesn't have the complete season available, nor are most past seasons available. Example season 3 might be available with episodes 17-23. However seasons 1&2 aren't available along with episodes 1-16... see my point!

How does Hulu take my money today 4/24/2018 this morning. I decide to cancel tonight on 4/24/2018 and they say well you already watched more than 5x in the month of April and since you a just paid today 4/24/2018 for part of April and part of May you are still bound by the rules for watching more than 5x in April. I even asked if I can have a partial refund for not watching in May. Again the answer is no because the rest of April is attached. What a lame way to keep my money and not refund it.
Hulu and Netflix, maybe GOHBO, stream over the internet, dump the cable company. Cable companies are horrible, and why watch programming on their schedule anyway? On-demand programming is the future. Scheduled programming is so over.
If you want gaaay content pushed at you get Hulu. If you are a touch-hole get Hulu.if Hulu would rather have a few gaaay subscribers fine but don't expect normal people to go along with Hulu trying to normalize degenerate perverts
Made thousands of fans pay and watch their essence live festival whole stream just for them to sickly not stream the HEADLINERS performance ( Nicki Minaj) that EVERYONE was waiting for. 1 star you guys need to be sued. Seriously. Had 20 thousand people on a random persons ig live so that we could at least try and still watch the performance. *Mind you they were using Nicki Minaj name left and right promoting their live just for them to not stream it.*

Do not recommend. HBO Max and Netflix are a few websites that aren't nearly as bad as this.

Ever since we downgraded from Hulu Live tv the service totally sucks. We downgraded because their live tv service wouldn't run on our home internet, so we switched to YouTube TV, and would highly recommend. We kept Hulu basic for some of the shows they carry, but now it constantly skips and stutters and sometimes will glitch right out of the entire app. It's not our internet, because we've got Netflix, Amazon, Disney, YouTube TV, Xbox, switch, multiple computers and tablets and they all stream just fine. For six bucks a month, we'll deal with it, but if they ever raise the price without improving their shoddy service, we'll drop them.
Had many issues setting up the account, only to be very disappointed. TERRIBLE customer service, and overall hard to use! Commercials up to 90 second sometimes. NOT WORTH IT, get Netflix instead, much more user friendly.
I think it's really cool that Hulu makes you reset your password every single time you want to watch something. I think it's really neat and efficient to take 25 minutes every time I want to watch something to reset my password to something new. The coolest part is how the Hulu login page will reject an email/password combo and then the reset webpage will tell me I can't reuse a password- so is it or is it not my password lol? Just really really really really really really really really really really really really frustrating to do this every time I want to use a service I pay for. Can I pay a fee for Hulu to remember my password? Can I just stop being harassed over 8 digits when I'm trying to decompress after a long day? Hulu says "no, suck rocks" and that's cool I guess.
Tip for consumers:
Please for the love of $#*! give me a text to sign in like a real $#*!ing company. I don't give a $#*! if you don't retain or secure consumer passwords - if you're system isn't *actually* capable of returning that request consistently then give us an option to log in via text or 2FA without changing the password that **YOU** didn't retain. Holy $#*!, please please please stop. This turned a last ditch effort to prevent binge drinking into a 4 hour $#*!ing tirade of fixing your $#*!.

When it is not buffering, Hulu is fine. I can live with commericals, but wish they were more varied in content. My confusion lies in attemtping to watch Season 2 of Blacklist only to find out that there are only 5 episodes that are on Hulu and they are the last 5 of the season.? In conclusion buffering needs to be addressed on Hulus end - up date the equipment, add what you need to - to address this problem. And if their are only 5 episodes of a season. Why bother even adding it? This forces me online to watch it that way on the laptop.
I canceled my Hulu account they told my I would be canceled 8/26/23i tried watching it 8/16/23 and it tell me I have to sign up again! Bunch of scammers! I would never go back again and I will tell all of my friends about this scammer Hulu! Good luck getting new customers, you did it to yourself remember customer is first!
I paid for the full streaming service. What I actually paid for was the right for Hulu to force me to watch ads, tons of commercials. In addition, the shows offered weren't great. If you love being forced to watch commercials you will LOVE Hulu. Awful!
Today I woke up to a $70 dollar charge Today when I was SURE I cancelled my account a month ago. Make sure you cancel, you have to press cancel like 5 times. The websites are deliberately confusing, it's funny how you can never go straight to the page that says "cancel" This company can't bother making a working UI for this service, or an honest website that's actually transparent about how to cancel. DO NOT GET HULU or any service under this company. Get Netflix or watch Literally anything else.
I've had hulu for one and a half years now and i would not recommend this site maybe the only reason i'm keeping it is because some shows i can't get on netflicks. Some of the older tv shows will skip through frames fast in spirts or if i am watching for a time hulu will just exit all on it's own without me doing anything. As a fact all shows i watch sometimes the picture will speed up the go back to normal frames. I checked to see if it was my tv but it isn't. And in order for me to watch movies i like i have to upgrade to a more expensive package. Hulu sucks and the only reason i have it is because it came with my phone pakage. Get your app straightened out already
Basicly a chore to watch things on desktop since they changed it. Hulu was already slow for loading and at times would have constant buffers even with 300MB/s internet. But now it has all those problems, AND is even worse. The new layout makes it hard to find something to watch, they mixed the sub and dub episodes for anime into 1 list, and they even removed the watch next button from the bottom of the player. Honestly they video player just looks like they just ported their mobile player to the desktop. That player works well on mobile, not so much on desktop.
I am paying full service price, yet I am not allowed to skip commercials. Every other service allows you to skip the commercials. Sucky service. Upgrade your service to that of other premium providers.
We love HULU however the new UI make it so HARD to find anything. We watch Seinfeld for instance and to get to the seasons takes multiple steps. The original UI was so easy. I can deal with it but my wife wants to cancel. It's too hard for her
Hulu freezes after watching a couple of episodes. I have to exit Hulu and then re-open it for it to work. NONE, I mean NONE of my other apps do that. I have extremely fast internet and fantastic NEW router. It ONLY happens on Hulu. I am going to cancel as soon as I get Netflix loaded in.
And yes, I have done all of that "generic" stuff that is described on the internet. (Un-install, reboot, etc...) Don't waste my time telling me to unplug, etc... I have done ALL of that 50 times!
I am using Roku on 4 different TV's, and 2 of the TV's are Roku Tv's, and 2 TV's use Roku Streaming Sticks. And YES, I have contacted Roku Support on many occasions.
I see hundreds and hundreds of people on the internet having the same problem, and all any of us get, are the "generic" responses from the support books they give you.

I subscribed to Hulu and was highly disappointed by the lack of accecablitiy to their supposed wide range of movies and tv shows. This in addition to the site crashing to the point of being unusable! I canceled my subscription a month ago and they took out a payment for a month of service that was not provided.
I payed the 79.00 dollars yearly subscription I accidentally canceled and they told me in order to continue hulu I have to pay another 79.00 dollars and create an new account like really I will not give you another 79.00 dollars when you just charge my card 79.00 dollars. Yall please be careful they will take your money...
Hulu was intriguing to my family because we love TV without having all of the ridiculous channels at the ridiculous price, so instead we went on demand with Hulu which is SUPER frustrating at times because it only has half seasons, it is UNGODLEY slow at getting the new episodes of previous seasons they air and if they do show them it could be online only so if you have a tablet you're royally screwed. The commercials have gotten increasingly annoying since they now give you the option to go commercial free and if you choose to stick with the commercials... trust that in a few days they will push you into the extra cash. Hulu just get your $#*! together.
Signed up for Hulu last week, dropped YouTube TV. I run it through my apple TV set up on my home tv = at least I did - for the first week it was pretty good occasionally would get a channel saying they could not connect - and they were working on it - but most channels worked most of the time.
-I got an email telling me I needed to set my home area. I thought thats weird - i did that on sign up - but I went ahead and did that. Then all of a sudden, on some channels - it would not connect and gave me error messages - that indicated it was an internet connection problem - Thats Bull$#*!, netflix, prime, everything else runs just fine - got messages directing me to help page with a link - help would open for about 2 seconds - then say it was unavailable. More and more channels became unavailable over the next 2 or 3 days. Now - no connectivity - all I get is a message saying they are working on it - been that way for 2 days - no channels available. So I'm cancelling them after 1 week - a waste of 50 bucks

We only stream. Amazon Prime, Netflix CBS, NBC all stream fine. HULU RARELY WORKS I tried contacting them with zero help. I write this review under my name so no retaliation from them again. BUYER BEWARE
The free trial is a waste of time. They list shows that when you go to watch them are not actually available. Canceling the service was a pita, which a gauntlet of questions and no customer service.
I'm still not sure its canceled.
Anyway, save your money and time and pick another service.
For starters, Hulu cut the Superbowl 3 minutes before the game ended. Hulu continues to have transmission errors causing constant loss of live TV shows. During Dallas/Redskins game Hulu went into a 40 minute LOOP show a single play over and over and over. I have ordered Direct TV to be installed and am cancelling HULU. Simply dreadful!
Their design is literally garbage. You can't find anything, on Roku it's an instant migraine and no thumbnails of cataloguing of the show to browse though. It's just HUGE text and one huge picture, and takes 5 additional steps to get from point A to B, whereas it took two before. I tried loading it twice, realised they WERE NOT saying "oops, we messed up" thus repealing it, so I immediately cancelled and am pissed because I loved the programming. They self-destructed their own innovative platform of creativity and entertainment by making the process of accessing said entertainment ludicrous. You're doing a disservice to your once-customers and to the industry, actors, and brilliant writers who want higher viewership rather than a decline based on such an unnecessary repellant.
