Hulu is a fantastic streaming service with a diverse range of content, including current TV shows, classic movies, and original programming. The ability to watch new episodes of my favorite shows shortly after they air is a major plus. The ad-supported tier offers great value, although I wish there were fewer commercials during playback
I've tried most of the movie sites and Hulu is by far the absolute worst. The website itself is slow and difficult to navigate. Their disabling of right-click makes it even worse. Movies stop at random places to load, ruining the continuity of the movie. And trying to skip ahead or back stops the movie outright for anywhere from several seconds to half a minute. You can't even pause a movie where you want because of the delay. Subtitles are out of sync with video on most movies. You have to pay to watch the movies, and then pay again if you want to watch them without ads. Even the free bootleg movie sites work better than Hulu. I tried their free trial so at least this poor experience did not cost me anything.
HULU has bad shows and nothing very interesting to watch. They seem to have an agenda. To be boring and overpriced love my netflix. I get more for my money don't waste yours.
I haaaate the hulu update on xbox. Omg if you have watched the show already (aka fallen asleep while the entire season + another series plays throught the night) there is no "restart" except LB EVERY TIME. The episodes will not auto replay through, it will auto play the last 2 minutes of every episode unless i press LB.
Sometime they allow more than one stram and sometimes they dont i regular cut the fustration and do like Netflix whick i pay an extra 4 bucks for mutilple stream. I got 4 tv at home and it sucks i cant watch it on more than one tv like netflix. I dont mind the ads they are few
Did the option with ads since I have Netflix and amazon and HULU completely SUCKS paused for a minute then had to watch 3 minutes in commercials AGAIN all I did was pause it. Have fast wifi but I guess not for Hulu unless it's my BRAND NEW Apple TV. Who knows CANCELING IT.
The new interface is horrible... terrible. What were they thinking? I cancelled my subscription. Text, jumping screens, colors amuck. It is by far the worst idea ever!
Long $#*! commercials often. And always freezes on the ads. $#*! this. Don't recommend. Would NEVER pay for this $#*!ty service EVER. So annoying and plain ri-goddamn-diculous.
I've been watching Hulu all morning with my children and upon starting episode 4 of a series Hulu informed me that the video was not available in my location... I know Hulu is only available in the United States and I'm in West Virginia... GET IT TOGETHER HULU! I'm just PAYING you!
I have Netflix, HBO max, Disney, Prime and a few others. The absolute worst streaming network is HULU. When I contacted them, they stated it's my internet. But all of my other apps stream perfectly.
They offer bundles and trios but the ESPN+ only works for major league live game viewings if you add Live tv or have a cable company. Who has cable still? I had the Disney+ Hulu bundle but decided recently to add espn+ to watch NBA. And so I added that change to my plan, but then realized it didn't know allow me access to live NBA game without Live Tv subscription or cable company. So I attempted to go back to bundle I had, and website won't let me. I see it's still promoted on their website so not sure why I am not allowed to add it to my plan, so I call customer service. The first rep., sounded super young and spoke fast and was dismissive. She said she "didn't think" she could change it back. When I asked to speak to a supervisor since she may not but a supervisor probably could, especially since it's still being promoted on their website, and I had just made the change, she hung up on me. I called back and spoke to another rep. Who stated the supervisors were informing her that they were not available to speak to me, and would call me back when they could. So to wait for a call back. As she spoke she sounded as she thought it was funny I was becoming frustrated or who knows what she was reading on the reply back from the "Supervisor". So ultimately I was denied assistance or to speak and get help from a Supervisor.
I use Hulu for all my current TV shows (never Cable TV again!). Plus it has tons of genre's in movies and TV, documentaries, originals, and more. Try it commercial free. It's the BEST!
I had cancelled my subscription because I did not think the new form was user friendly. I keep getting emails to come back with a free month. I finally decided to try it again with the free month but was charged immediately. Customer service never responded to my inquire about being charged. DO NOT EVER FALL FOR THEIR SCHEMES!
Every night it takes 20 minutes to get Hulu to play, NETWORK ERROR or WE ARE HAVING TROUBLE ACCESSING THAT NOW or I have to log in 3 to 4 times. Their business is streaming, they should provide streaming. It is pathetic, I would give (-) stars if I could.
WE PAY FOR HULU ON ROKU AND IT IS SO NOT WORTH A DIME. WATCH ONE TV SHOW AND SPEND MORE TIME WATCHING COMMERCIALS! THE COMMERCIALS PROMOTE ALCOHOL, AND WEIRDNESS! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! WE DID FOR ONE MONTH WAY TOO LONG!
I've had Hulu for a couple years now and I have NEVER had the kind of problems I have with Hulu with any other streaming service. At one point they split my account in two where it was being charged from my credit card AND my iTunes, and when I confronted them about it they told me there was nothing they could do and so I had to cancel both accounts and re-sign up with them. And on multiple occasions I have held the account and tried to sign on and it wouldn't let me use it on my phone, it just timed out every time and they chocked it up to technical issues with my account but it worked fine on my tv. Every time I try to talk to customer service they re-route me to anyone else they can and I never get anything solved. If it weren't for the fact that they show 2 of my favorite current shows I would never re-sign with them again. As soon as I find a new streaming site that has them I will never use Hulu again. I'm tired of the terrible service.
Awful, rude tone and POOR lISTENING SKILLS staff working in the help center/ customer service. I called three times on the same day to resolve the issue. Yet, they refused to offer a permanent solution and asked me, the consumer to look for other options to satisfy Hulu's expectation of locking down the IP address. They suggested I switch my internet service provider because of the floater IP address they assign. I explained it is the only internet service provider available where I live and still they would't offer any help and suggested I contact the help center whenever the issue recur, which is often. I am so done with HULU.
Hulu is one of the worst streaming apps available. First, I only signed up for their service to watch the World Cup. According to their website and advertisements, I would have full access to all of the World Cup games. Upon logging into the app on my Smart TV, it stated that I would receive 7 days for free and then pay a monthly fee of $7.99. Once I actually signed up, I was informed that I would receive 7 days for free and then be charged $39.99 per month. I did not select any premium channels or other add on programming. Reluctantly, I agreed since my intent was only to keep the service for only one month so that I could watch the upcoming games, and one payment of $39.99 would have been worth it. However, after jumping through every hoop thrown in my way, I was finally logged into the console and quickly found out that none of the channels offered included live TV. Every channel available only showed pre-recorded shows. This is useless to me. Furthermore, I logged into may account and attempted to cancel the subscription since it did not meet my expectations. Unfortunately, every time I selected the cancel account option, I was promptly re-routed to the horrible "404 page not found" error. I immediately contacted my financial institution and reported the card stolen and canceled all future transactions on the card. I would have given Hulu a negative star, but one star was the lowest rating available. Find some other suckers, HULU.
While traveling in South Africa with our Amazon Firestick, we discovered that Hulu severely limits what you can watch AND you CANNOT access your recorded shows from outside the country!
Now, we're traveling in our RV across the country and Hulu still does NOT allow access to recorded shows and live TV, especially ABC Evening News, using our Amazon Firestick OR smart TV!
Why am I paying a premium price for a sub-premium service? Not much longer, as we're about to dump Hulu for anything else! Hulu is definitely not designed for traveling people!

Only 2 TV's can watch Hulu in one household & only ONE tv can watch it live. The only way my youngest can watch Mickey mouse is in my room!? There's no Paw Patrol (nickelodeons current cash cow) but they have Rugrats & Doug. Cartoons for my kids in THIS era would be nice, because TV is mainly for children. Id rather pay $100 for cable then waste $40 on Hulu.
I thought I was doing good going with Hulu but honestly the price keeps going up every month on top of that you have OMG SOOOOOO MANY ADS. You will be getting into a good program and then switches to a 4 min ad. Just unreal. You have to stop and think THEY as in HULU are the ones making thousands of dollars off these ads. DO NOT GO WITH HULU.
I used to love Hulu you have nothing but old reruns on no new movies. Interface is terrible go back to your old and her face this is awful. I'm seriously getting ready to drop Hulu.
Our service was outstanding he not only helped us but he went beyond that and gave us a 2 week extension on our monthly payment His name is Raymond ask for him! Give him a raise!
They should be paying you for as many ads as they make you watch. It really just boils down to greed. Over 2 minutes of ads per ad break... Thats not acceptable for a paid service.
It is a waste of time and money, what they present is great, but never expect to see it. You will end up seeing a frozen screen, more than the show, and still paying for it.
Been having lots of freeze issues and kick outs in the middle of movies and shows.
Can't watch a movie the whole way through without this happening. We will be unscubscring.
