Hulu is a fantastic streaming service with a diverse range of content, including current TV shows, classic movies, and original programming. The ability to watch new episodes of my favorite shows shortly after they air is a major plus. The ad-supported tier offers great value, although I wish there were fewer commercials during playback
I've tried most of the movie sites and Hulu is by far the absolute worst. The website itself is slow and difficult to navigate. Their disabling of right-click makes it even worse. Movies stop at random places to load, ruining the continuity of the movie. And trying to skip ahead or back stops the movie outright for anywhere from several seconds to half a minute. You can't even pause a movie where you want because of the delay. Subtitles are out of sync with video on most movies. You have to pay to watch the movies, and then pay again if you want to watch them without ads. Even the free bootleg movie sites work better than Hulu. I tried their free trial so at least this poor experience did not cost me anything.
What is it about Disney's megalomania? Seems everything they touch since the early 90's they evolve into their own image and quality & customer service tank. Most recent problem is HULU. Seems recently our username and password is good for about thirty days then you have to reset again. Sadly, the old username with password does not let you in for viewing but you can online access your account. Wish Elon would let

Hulu is the worst! Shows just stop for no reason. You have to watch as many ads as you would on TV, but worse than TV because the same ad is repeated over and over, every few minutes. To get away from the ads, I subscribed to Hulu Plus. Huge mistake! Still a horrible ad to content ratio and random stops. And, because I've lost my password, I can't un-subscribe (or use the site) in spite of spending hours trying to navigate their impenetrable system, which inexplicably won't send me a password reset or let me email the company. Because I made (another) mistake of auto pay on my credit card, I'll have to cancel this card to get away from them. Bad, bad, bad.
Paying $85 a month just to have 3minute ads almost every 10 minutes during movies and shows. And the ads are mostly drug companies showing gay people cuddling, and talking about sex, all the while my young kids are watching tv. No thank you, we uphold christian values and Hulu is way too woke for us.
Can't log in most of the time through Sony Bravia Smart TV. When I can and the program starts, at about 5 minutes in it recycles back to the beginning; over and over and over... and over again. Two tech calls didn't provide a solution. Was referred to my able company which, politely, labeled this BS. Works through cable company's TiVo box. All other streaming services work fine on Sony TV. Just Hulu doesn't. Like their programs but they get one-star for crappy streaming.
I recently came back to Hulu b/c they offer network tv as well as the sports stations I watch. For some reason, after 1 week I have had 4 problems with recording. I spent 45 minutes with a very nice & competent young man who was not able to help me. He said the issue is my Mac security & Hulu's sensitivity. If I can't record & skip commercials, there's no point. I guess I'm going back to Fubo
I was a die hard Hulu fan and customer for years. The rolled out their "New User Experience", claiming it was aimed at making it easier for us to find what we want to watch. The opposite happened. It takes endless scrolling, searching, browsing to find anything. There is no Live TV programming guide. Whats currently airing live is grouped in with on-demand content. I found myself watching a day old newscast due to a recording being mixed in with live. This change was too much for me to waste my time on. I cancelled my account. I will sit back and wait to see if they rework the UI to something usable. In the meantime I have Amazon prime and Netflix.
I've never had issues with Netflix. Hulu has you login back and forth between two TV's non stop. Then, I save my password and it makes me reset constantly between each TV and retype and reset every time! If you don't have high blood pressure, you will if you sign up with Hulu! Worst wait for customer service too! Lol not worth the money I'll go elsewhere since so many streaming channels available!
2018 update- HULU took channels I have being paying 2 years for and deleted them then offers them back for additional add on charge. I am still paying the same premium, no discount for the channels deleted. You don't delete channels a customer is already paying for, you offer NEW ones. No way to contact anyone, only a robot customer service. At least with Cable providers you know that what you pay for is what you will get.
Hulu has gotten worse and worse, just like Netflix. Cancelled Nextflix. Cancelling Hulu next. Hulu limits the available seasons on too many shows. Either provide every episode or nothing. If I like something I want to see it from the start. I guess now that they have a strong base of subscribers they can decide to put more cash in their pocket by reducing the paying clients options. I say "Screw Hulu".
Very easy site to watch free T. V. The streams are fast and clear, I rarely have any issues with the picture or sound skipping (and frankly even when i do it's likely bcuz i'm doing 5 other things on my computer). They don't have every episode for most shows, at least the more popular ones. They seem to rotate which ones they're offering, sometimes with only a handle available for any given show. If the show's still airing they usually have the latest episodes up within a a day or 2. I'd definately recommend Hulu if your stranded somewhere with your laptop with nothing to do :)
Hulu must have hired new people, because whomever thought this new update was a good idea is an $#*!. First of all I can't watch the shows in "My Stuff". Like what is the point of having favorites if its going to queue "Curious George". I hate Hulu and am really considering cancelling my subscription after this month. I ran away from Cable but thinking about going back. Hulu has made changes that has and is alienating their customers for a. In order to compete with TWC/Spectrum /Netflix... Etc... they have made changes that doesn't listen to the customer but otherwise wanting to compete. I am so disappointed, secretly waiting for another competition to come put Hulu out of its misery.
They don't help with anything being charged twice a month for over a year. Called to get it resolved first agent was rude and hung up on me. The second was little helpful but not much. I'm canceling everything from hulu. They want your money but won't help with the issues their company has with their customers. Not even worth 1 star wish I could put 0 stars

I find it absolutely atrocious that this bull$#*! app is all about the money. I can understand one ad in an episode, but every five minutes?! Literally every five minutes theres a 90 second ad. Its very obvious that all they care for is money, not the customers who pay them money. Most of the world is poor, we need some sort of entertainment and because we cant afford or refuse to pay more money for less ads, were getting $#*!ed over. The poor get screwed again! $#*! you, Hulu! See how long you can mistreat your paying customers before you yourself are bankrupt.
It's becoming impossible to log into my account on hulu. Recaptcha goes on endlessly even when I know I have them all in the previous set. And for what reason? It's not like hulu is an important site needing to provide security. Once is MORE than enough. My bank doesn't even have this junk. Whoever created recaptcha, well I better not publicly express what I'm thinking. The pictures are tiny, often fuzzy, and on the one picture displays, a tiny bit might carry over into another square if you look close enough. Why is this demanded on computers when you don't have to on your TV? An account is an account. Anyway, guess it's time to dump the hulu. Small letters are intentionally used.

If you don't mind endlessly playing a stupid picture game until they say times up and let you in to your account, once you get into the site it's a regular streaming service. Not the best, but holds their own.

Two hours of my life gone. Three customer service reps--Paula, Muriel and Liezel. Cut off twice. No one could figure out why I could not activate my account on my LG TV. Then I remembered! I have an LG TV that had sent me a note telling me they no longer support Hulu. Customer Service is clueless. Endless resets. The ultimate injustice, three different credit cards denied my enrollment. I had to call my credit card company to get them to approve $5.99. They told me Hulu is flagged as highly fraudulent. Can you believe this?
Save yourself a lot of time. If the user set up doesn't work right out of the gate, give up.
Been with HULU for over 10+ years, Today I cancelled my subscription. Too pricey, not enough content for the increase... everyone likes to say cut the cord but the cord is now cheater and better. Just like everything else in this country greed is destroying it! TRUTH
I just started an account on hulu and do like some of the choices. Was very unhappy to have the adam and eve commercial come on in the middle of watching a show with my kids. I dont think this is really appropriate advertising in the category we were watching. I think that it should be in the adult category or gay and lesbian or something that is more sexual in nature. That alone is almost enough to make me cancel before I have even been on for a month. Then after that is was for call in dating services not really happy with that..
When it comes to following our favorite TV shows, we want what we want on demand, when we want it. Hulu gets used as much if not more than our DVR. For under $10/month, we have access to a huge selection including interesting content from overseas. The library satisfies needs for every family member regardless of age or taste. They have even added their own original shows. Hulu continues to keep their user interface very fresh and intuitive. Over the years, we have rarely experienced down time from the site. There are commercials, however spot breaks are under 90seconds. Content doesn't stay around forever. Some shows do expire. However, you can add your faves to your cue & receive updates about the status. Hulu isn't the only service we use, but with the MASSIVE amount of free content, it's a great bang for under $10/month! (*they do offer a selection of movies, but it is so poor, we rarely watch them)
I notice hulu promotes the murder of innocents in the womb among other things. They promote racist and murderous and multibillion dollar organization planned parenthood. I would stay clear of using their services if a baby's life is important to you.
Terrible programs, save your money! Netflix is the only way to go. Once you subscribe it's extremely difficult to cancel. I have been billed for 4 months Even after canceling, they just keep billing you! Do NOT subscribe to this service!
I don't have a credit card, don't want to buy a Hulu gift card for the trial period because it's $25 and if I don't like it I am stuck.
So I bought a pre-paid Visa, tried to use it, but it won't accept it. Chatted with "Nina" and she told me I can't use it because funds may not be available when it's time to auto-renew.
Gee... If only there were a way to prevent people from using their service if they don't pay...
No, they want to auto-bill you and would rather lose you as a customer than risk having you (Heaven forbid) NOT RENEW.

This must be hulu's new corporate strategy. The new ui is nearly unusable. I don't think that it's worth the frustration to use hulu with the new "improvements". I'll give hulu a few days to provide a revert option, otherwise it's time to cancel and replace. There are plenty of competitors out there.
Hulu had been offering a large inventory of shows that would have all its seasons, However with the recent update they have drastically cut the number of the shows and their episodes. What may have have been 10 seasons are now two This recent change may be be ideal for people with tablets and IPhones but for us folks that liked to kick back at home and bing out on our favorite shows or discover new ones what was their large inventory. It is a great disappointment. I had contacted their customer department and formally registered my complaint and hope other fellow Hulu viewers also expressed their opinion so Hulu will restore the site back to where it wasl.
My favorite part of Hulu right now is that it's free with a student Spotify account. They produce their own shows and release new shows on air the day after they come out so its easy to keep up with tv without cable. Not many previous seasons, but I use it more to keep up rather than binge watch. The commercials arent the best, but Im not paying an extra charge and they have to make money somehow. Overall, I definitely recommend especially if you are a student already paying for a spotify account.

So you know, that's a 16% hike. It's so ridiculous I'll be canceling my account.
