IL Makiage:Falsely advertised. Did not work as advertised.the primer did not blur pores. The concealer barely concealed anything

Constant advertising in the middle of ordering trying to add another product. Then they sent to my email a link. Click a link find a cream I want. It doesn't work I finally find it again throughout all the advertisments and promos they are annoying and didn't work when I tried 3 times tried pay for my facial cream Then I was being charged for 5 of them and I couldn't alter the amount. I can't even order what I want. And I just want 1. If I would like more I will order more. I can't even purchase the darn cream this website is chaotic impossible. Nothing works I click links they don't work and the promo stuff seems fake cause it isn't working for me. Most difficult sitte ever. I have only been able to order one product and that took forever I wasn't able to add my cream with it. They made it impossible more promo after promo. I wanted to order them together. That was not even possible the site was to worried about throwing promos in my face that are overwhelming and I still can't order what I want. Now I'm still STiLL trying to order a cream powerlift
with retinol. I wanted it and I don't want 5 I only want 1. I'm very frustrated 😣 and every time I try again it adds another one on. This is. Silly. And I can't delete the amount "BIT at CHECKOUT it say I have 1. Then I see the price. And I have 6 ".

The eye pencil didn't stay on for the day. I was disappointed. It was the LONG-WEAR EYE PENCIL - INTENSE PIGMENT WATERPROOF, which I used on my water line but it smudged off halfway through the day.

I've been using the Il Makiage products for several years now and I will never go back to department store cosmetics for good reasons-- the color, the quality, and the convenience of Il Makiage all exceed what I could get elsewhere. However, the shopping experience on the Il Makiage website is confusing, frustrating, and not customer friendly. First, their business is built on a subscription model (one of the benefits, honestly; set it and forget it and products show up on your doorstep!). But the site seems almost purposefully difficult when you want to try a new product and purchase it outside of your typical auto-renewal window. Hypothetically, I don't know if I want to add a new product to an auto shipment (which may not be scheduled to come for months, due to how often I go through product), it should be easier to find the new product (it's not, the menu gets hidden from your account management page), and then easier to add it to a purchase cart. As to the auto renewal program itself, this is another area that could use improvement. I would like to set up my auto renewal for every three or four months, not every 1-2 as it is normally set. But to do that, I have to log in (not with a password, but with an emailed link-- another pain point), and then push out the delivery by a certain number of weeks. The overall lack of control the customer has with regard to shipments, and account management almost makes it seem like the site was built to purposefully be confusing and unhelpful to the customer. My overall feeling and takeaway is that if the products weren't as good as they are, the shopping experience would not be worth it. My only hope is that the company will seek to make improvements that benefit the loyal customers who believe in the product.
