The shipping policy on their website says it takes 10 days to ship within India, but i did not receive my order for weeks and customer service kept saying they r working on it, they after a month they said they do not have that piece and they have to cancel the order, i had ordered the suit for an occasion and were depending on it, now i am not in a situation to buy something else so soon. And the customer service had nothing to do in return just a pretyped apology letter, their service sucks, how can they sell something online that they don't have in stock. I will not recommend online shopping at indianroots.com at all.

Indianroots is quite interesting website. I am a professor and I usually wear silk and cotton sarees and this website has a really good collection of silk as well cotton sarees. A few months ago my daughter told me about Indianroots, since then I have been purchasing a lot of stuff from this website and I am totally satisfied with my shopping experience!

The website is hopeless, does not load, you really work hard to get the stuff you want and then what?
The quality is even more pathetic, the photos are no way near the actual product, they are looting you. Beware.

I purchase one dress on Sept 4th with order # ******* and after 2 months when it suppose to be delivered they mentioned they can't complete the order and I requested the refund and and they came up with excuse that for technical reasons they cant refund my money to my credit card then they issued store credit and 30% discount on full price item. I wanted to place another dress on November I ask them to send my 30% discount coupon code and they emailed me that I have to pay first and then they are going to issue the credit and I went ahead and ordered a dress on Nov 21st with order number ******* and now they emailed me that they cant issue credit. They removed all the customer service phone numbers from their website this enough red flag when a company removed their customer service number. Right now I am on hold with them for more than 20 minutes while I am writing this review. Very frustrating and unethical people to work with. Stay away* Stay away * Stay away * stay Away

I can't explain the extent of the hassle I am going through with Indianroots. I placed an order around October 11th, and today is December 23rd. I have been following up with their customer service for all these weeks/months, and every time they kept on lying to me. They have been giving me false updates regarding my order for the past 2 and a half months, and at this point, I am sick and tired of following up. I did not know about the 45 day policy re: Paypal, so now I'm even out of luck with getting a refund for the item. I spent my hard earned money for the item, which seems to gone down the drain now. I don't even know if I'll ever get the product or my money back.
I strongly suggest customers to refrain ordering from this website.

I have made a number of purchases from this website and almost all the products, which I have ordered from this website, are really elegant. Recently I purchased a cotton saree from Indianroots and gifted it to my mom. She really liked the stuff of the saree.

Before buying from Indainroots i have read other user reviews. Then i have ordered designer sarees. I ordered on 7 december and it was delieved the very next day. Indianroots not only provide a wide range of products but also provide best quality and service to its customers.My experience with Indianroots was so Awesome, Fantastic, Incredible. Hi, I would like to share my experience with Indian roots. It was my wedding and I was uncertain as to which material to choose, where to buy from. Hello Everyone myself sakshi. My order no was *******. That i placed my order on this valentines week... i wanted a pretty puffy gown for valentines day... i ordered it on 7 of february and amazingly i got my dress within 4 days. The quality was also good and got many compliments from my fiance and friends..

Worst customer service, they say 15 to 17 days, but even after 60 days they won't start shipping, and after 60 to 70 days they say the item not available. They charge the card immediately. For the items those are not available its been 3 months i haven't got the refund. Very Very disappointing. They won't pick up the phone, by luck if you get the customer service representative, they won't resolve the issue and they will ask you to send email to *******@indianroots.com. Even if its their mistake they don't even bother pleasing the customer.

I am regular customer of Indianroots & at present their rates are very cheap & genuine & their delivery is very accurate. It is my favorite online shopping store my all experiences with Indianroots are very very good. They are providing good quality with a heavy discount. Overall I’m fully satisfied with their services.

I bought a copper colored evening gown from Indianroots and it is super-stunning. It is not too glittery and all my friends are going crazy after seeing my gorgeous gown. I am going to wear it on my cousins engagement! I am so thankful to Indianroots!

Like the countless people who have also provided the negative feedback, I too have had numerous conversations with IndianRoots. My orders have not arrived on time - and despite the site PROMISING delivery within 14 days... this is not the case. As a customer, I am suppose to follow up. The customer service team is yet to learn the true meaning of service. They are dishonest, have no authority and never provide consistent information.

I don't understand how this company has managed to stay in business.

I am now going straight to the brands that I prefer shopping with and paying a little extra to get the things that I want from a retailer that I CAN TRUST!

IndianRoots is a venture of NDTV - surprisingly, IndianRoots has no values, no ethos and continues to cheat and lie to customers at every opportunity available.

Do not order from this company. You WILL NOT get your clothes or your refund. A very sad process of dishonesty and thievery covered in care and customer service. Wolves in sheep's clothing. I pray those in this company see of their ways, and turn from the darkness to the light of Jesus Christ who died for them. May they turn from these ways, and do what is right, before they close their eyes for the very last time and stand before their maker for judgement.

An order i made on Jan 2016 is not yet delivered as on 30 March 2016.
Still i get replies that it will now be shipped on 12th April 2016. When i ask for refund, they deny it. Do they expect me to wait endlessly for the product. Do they have any deadline to ship. If the vendor is not able to send them a product within 3 months, how can they expect the vendor will send them now. I think they are just holding on to my money.
Really pathetic service. They just have a simple answer, Apologies!

I love Indianroots and I think that this is the one of the best online shopping website. I have been shopping from this website from past several months and never had any inconvenience of any sort. The best part about this website is that its customer care division is very quick to respond to the customers queries unlike other shopping websites.

Indianroots is my favorite shopping website and I as per my experience I can say that this is one of the most genuine shopping site. The products are of high quality and the customer care team is also very supportive and helping. I have never faced any problem while dealing with this website. This website is a joke. I placed a order in november and it is now february and i have not received my items yet. They keep lying saying that the items will come the following weekend and nothing yet! SCREW THEM. I feel cheated and scammed. They are giving Indians a bad name!
