I let my daughter use my debit card to get a membership in January glam bag x and glam bag plus then in February glam bag x again but the price increased 12 bucks, also glam bag plus and 18.00 for ipsy marketplace, wtf is that. 108.00 charged for February took a damn month to get them and doesn't use half of it.

I joined with a promise of a surprise gift of a certain amount. The joing was "cancel any time", which I did. Did not receive my gift nor did I receive my money's worth of items. All items was cheap and unnecessary and even damaged beyond use. Dont waste your time or money.

I wanted to try Ipsy to see if it was worth it so I paid for a years worth and wasn't aware when the year was up I was going to be charged another year. I wasn't given a heads up or anything. When looking over my bank statement I seen I was charge I canceled my membership and emailed ipsy. I was told I would receive the refund after receiving the refund I was soon charged again and they tried telling me they can't see on their end where I was charged even after sending this. So I'm out of the money and makeup.

I paid for 1 month to try it and I didn't received the bag. So i contacted the customer service and they offer to send an "accommodation" bag... and i never received it either. I tried to cancel my account but not in time! So I paid for and other month/bag and... not received it! So it cost me 25$ to never get the bags haha. What a scam. They don't want to refund me. Big disappointment.

I am not impressed. My 1st charge went through January 24th and it still says that I have no order and no tracking information for an order. Your already asking for my information for my February order when my January order hasn't even been sent, quick to charge my Ceedit card though.

They are a rip off, fake, a scam and I been a member since June 2018 signed up waited for my July bag never got it, I tried looking for a ipsy toll free number, never found one. So I emailed them got a response they said my July bag was on it's way, no bag. I had to proceed by telling them if they didn't get my bag to me that I would consult with my lawyer, Ok. So then I finally got August glam bag but still no july... continued emailing them no response. No this morning September 1st. They are quick to take their payment for September but I still haven't received my july's glam bag. I will file a lawsuit against this fake, scamming $#*! site. Ladies be aware they to will get you. I even tried canceling my subscription. Have you all had any luck?! Please let me know. Thanks very disatisfied customer / customers.

So for those having trouble with cancellation go to membership page and at the bottom in VERY small letters is cancel. You have to keep going for the small words. It will ask you for 2 reasons but the large icon is to keep membership. Go under that and cancel. They will send you an email. Then go into email and push cancel again.
Now my package was super late, holiday season so ok i get it. Then the brush was nice, highlighter ok, the Tarte was way smaller than I thought it would be, and I dont like the lotion. And sadly my bags zipper isnt working:/
I honestly get more free when I buy from Ulta. I just got way more for a purchase of 20.00 than this hassle, and the products are way bigger.
For my birthday Ulta and Safora gave me a Tarte tha was at least twice this size.
I just dont think its worth the money. Im gonna always go buy make up from the other stores, might as well just get what I want and get their free gifts, that arent broken.

I signed up for ipsy and NEVER received my September bag. I emailed them and was told to wait that it was on the way. I've been charged for my October bag and still haven't received my September one. Wish I could give it a zero cause I really can't review something I've never received.

Ordered a glam bag at the beginning of October and shipping was really slow. Now at the end of November I finally received something and it was just one item and it wasn't even the one I picked. Did not receive my glam bag at all.

I ordered my 1st glam bag in the middle of May and it shipped out June 10. It sat in a town 2 hrs away from me for an entire week. Needless to say, I didnt receive my bag until June 24th. When I opened it, the eyeliner was broke in half Since I unsubscribed with them, I was unable to leave a review on their website so here I am letting everyone know what a crappy experience I had. I switched to Birchbox. Hopefully they dont use the DHL crappy delivery service!

I see people saying its only 10.00 and you get what you pay for in the add you are paying for top products so its my 10.00 and I want what I paid for the last 3 months I have not receive my product and was getting charged for it and there is no number to call only email customer care well they called me 2weeks later from a private number and then they told me they were fixing the problem and they have not. I cancelled and they continued to take money until I called my bank and had them blocked. Its not all bad but the customer service is the worst yes you get what you pay for and I paid for product and I want them.

I canceled my membership with them twice just to be charged another two more times before I had to just cancel my cards. They are scamming people out of their money and the products they send are terrible.
Tip for consumers:
I feel scammed that they charged me for two months after I canceled two months ago. For the last two months, when ever I saw the charge hit my bank account I canceled my membership. Just to find out they are doing it to everyone makes me so mad. Now I have to cancel my debit card. Plus they advertise that you can cancel anytime and no...no you can't.

I used a mascara because I couldn't find my original but I have received several months worth and ended up giving everything else away.

You are a terribly company! I have been trying to get ahold of someone about my subscription for months now! I've emailed, insta messaged, called, FB messaged, and now this! I want to cancel my account! I have wanted to cancel my subscription for months now! I called the # and an automated system tells me that I have to email so I emailed (many times!) They never respond it's been over 2 months now and nothing! Don't give them your card info! Don't subscribe! They will keep charging you until you cancel you card -.- so that's what I've had to do to stop them from charging me every month when I've tried to cancel multiple times. Such a pain in the $#*!! Now I have to change all of my billing info for each bill! If you couldn't tell I'm furious!

I cancelled my Ipsy subscription years ago, because I wasn't happy with the items. I subscribed to Boxycharm and loved them! Until Ipsy bought them out. I've waited months to decide if I liked the products I was receiving since Ipsy took over. And...I do not. Not only are the products pretty much thrown into a box (Boxycharm was always very nicely placed in a box), the box always seems beat up (it can always be the post office?), and the products are just meh. The products do not seem worth it, and I don't care for a lot of the (seemingly cheapie) brands. When you google individual products (as I do before choosing the 3 I want each month), it seems like they give you choices of items that have bad reviews, or aren't selling well. I'm sad that Boxycharm is not a thing anymore!

I order a glam bag at the beginning of June. It was supposedly shipped on June 18th. The tracking number is a dead end. I called the company they shipped it with and they can't locate the shipment. I have asked 4 times now to cancel my membership and they are giving me the run around. I filed a complaint with the BBB.

I have decided to cancel my account as of November 30,2015 to be effective December 1,2015. My checking account was debited on 12/01 for $10.80. I then received a glamor bag mid December. I then noticed my checking account was again debited for $10.80, so once again I sent another email to cancel my account. They do not understand how to cancel my account.

I signed up for this account and the samples that were sent are tiny and I would be able to purchase something that lasts longer for the same price or less. I canceled and they CONTINUED to charge my account for the following 3 months. That should be against the law. Bank says my bank card has to be canceled in order to stop them from applying future charges.

I think this service comes at a great price and I didn't care at all that I didn't know when it was going to come. I was so excited to open it... but the products I received did not match my preferences AT ALL! I received a solid lipstick when I said I was interested in liquid lipstick (although I think I do like it, but still). I didn't check the box for highlighter because I'm NOT INTERESTED and will never use the one I received. I said I wanted brown eyeliner and I received black which I NEVER wear. I said I wanted the "wash off face mask" and I got the sheet kind (again, I don't care too much, but still). What is the point of filling out the preferences if you don't receive products you will ever use? Not to mention the denim/neon orange bag is so juvenile and doesn't open very well because the zipper is short. So disappointed. What am I supposed to do with all of these products that I did not have any interest in at all. It's a waste :(

I joined Ipsy in November of last year and have had no problems! I always receive my package, they charge on the first just as they said they would, and I have not received damaged items. People complain about the items they get, but I like that I get new things that I haven't tried or wouldn't think to try! Why join if you're gonna complain about getting samples when you know you are gonna get RANDOM samples?!?! But I enjoy it and I recommend it!

So I signed up for ipsy in early January and was put on their waitlist. After a few weeks, I decided to cancel and try a different makeup subscription. I went through the whole cancellation process on January 29th. Everything was fine, until I get a bag early April and am charged for it. It would be one thing if I got the February bag because it was late in January when I canceled (even though you have till the 1st of the month to cancel). But April?! So now I have to go on and try to cancel everything again but I'm nervous that this will just keep happening.

I enjoyed ipsy for about a year before deciding to cancel. My problems occurred when trying to cancel. In order to confirm cancelling my order the site kept telling me I needed to confirm an e-mail, which they never sent.
Customer service is a joke, I couldn't find a phone number so I had to resort to their Facebook page (I let them no I have checked all folders and no email from ipsy and was unable to cancel). Over a week later a representative got back to me and her advice was to "check my junk folder". This process was so long they had already billed and sent me a box that I didn't want.
Their customer service just kept telling me they would resend the e-mail and never did (They had the right e-mail stated on my log in page and account settings, their was no reason it wouldn't send). I ended up having to cancel my bank card and be frozen out of my account for 9 days until a new card arrived. HORRIBLE SERVICE don't waste your time or money only to get locked into this service scam.

I paid for the BoxyCharm membership in the beginning of July. They took the money, but didn't send anything in the month of July. Yet they kept trying to upsell me to get the most expensive box. So I contacted them & They said the first box wouldn't be here until the middle of August basically (no ETA of course), so I canceled my membership but I had already paid for the box, so I've been waiting for it. Then they sent out an email saying to choose my 3 items. Which I did. And then they took away the item I had chosen and made me choose others instead. I have had the worst experience with them. And it makes no sense to offer a product and then take it away 10 minutes later. The WORST.
Tip for consumers:
I feel like it has been a waste of my time & money so far.

Ipsy cancellation a nightmare!
Rant here I have been getting Ipsy beauty subscription for over 2yrs I've tried canceling several times with no progress. Customer service # not working supposed to send email to cancel never recieved one in the last 2 times I've put in for cancelation. So I called my banks claims department & Better Business Bureau... horrible service when trying to cancel but easy as pie to join. So sad companies do this just to get your money. But I got your number & I'm not sitting around quietly while you take my money on a subscription I can no longer use or afford!

Hi Claudia, apologies for the trouble with cancellation! As you know, cancellation is a two-step process. Step one is to confirm from ipsy.com, and step two is to click the link that is sent via email.
The confirmation email is sent automatically, so if the email address was correct, and your spam folder was empty, we're unsure what happened. Per policy, our representatives can cancel your account for you, so make sure that the process is completed. Our FAQ and contact page is found at help.ipsy.com, and our direct support email address is support@ipsy.com. We also provide support on our social channels, like Facebook and Twitter.
