I signed up for ipsy in April. Immediately was taken off the wait list and received an email saying I would receive my April glam bag soon. May has come around, I still haven't received the glam bag I was charged for in April, nor have I received any sort of tracking information. I emailed the company back and forth asking where my April glam bag was and I just received what seemed as an automated response of "we're sorry you're having issues, you will receive your tracking information soon." I email the company again telling them I changed my address (I waited until the end of April to do so, for May) and inquired about my April glam bag, and why I was charged if nothing was received. I made them aware of the upcoming move, and told them I changed my address at the end of April as to receive my May glam bag without issues. My email was very clear and concise, and they interpreted it as "we don't reimburse for address changes, but we know stuff happens so we can make an exception." Keep in mind I said nothing about not receiving my April glam bag BECAUSE of the address change, I just hadn't received t at all. I looked back at my email as to give them the benefit of the doubt that possibly there was chance for misinterpretation... I just don't understand the incompetence. With that being said, I don't have much faith in a company who conducts all their business through email. I went ahead and cancelled my subscription as not to deal with any future hassle. Sure, they have potential and I'm sure there are many success stories - but in my opinion it's quite unprofessional to get back to someone two-three (at times it was four days!) about a product you're paying for and not receiving.

It's been a pain to cancel the membership, is like you don't have the option and you are forced to stay. I'm so pissed off

I like my Ipsy bags. Ten dollars is nothing to get almost three full size items and two deluxe size samples along with a cut little cosmetic bag. Its a nice surprise. Also, I like the fact that I have the opportunity to purchase high end products at a fraction of the price and several times a week. They also offer discounts through name brand sites via a promo code. My problem occurred when I was looking around the site and found that I can accumulate points to receive deluxe products for said points. You get points by doing reviews, ratings and comments and posting them to your facebook or other social media. So basically giving them a plug for points. Well I did them, I had quit a few to do because I had never done them within the almost two years of getting Ipsy. I did so many the one night and received all my points. The next morning I set out to do more. I had my eye on a colorpop eye pallet for 1500 points. That morning I made 30 posts, all very accurate and time consuming. I checked my points afterwards to see where I was at and it did not give me the correct amount for the posts that I had made. So I contacted them via email. They responded with there was something wrong with their system and they were working on correcting it. Well the system is back up. Now Im fighting to get my points. They have had several different associates contact me, each of which fail to read past emails and have to be informed once again about the problem and each not understanding it either because they keep mentioning things that dont pertain to the problem. The last girl that contacted me asked me twice to do thirty screen shots of my facebook to prove that i did the posts so that i could receive the points I had done the work for. I told her to eff off in not so many words. Im pissed and this is how Im going to retaliate. Im also never writing another review about them unless its negative. B holes. Decent item, bad customer service skills!

My bags have been arriving later and later. December 2nd I added on some items as gifts. December 17 received an email saying my order was delayed but I will get it in time for the holidays. December 22nd, still no shipping info so I reached out to customer service via email. Was told my items were on the way, asked for tracking info, they told me it should be in my account. Nope, reached out via email again, was told that my order still hadn't shipped but would get info soon. December 24th reached out again via email. No response. Reached out via messenger, was told postal service delays, ask for tracking, they told me it was still in process at their facility. December 26th, emailed. No response. Messaged, no response. December 27th, post a comment a page post. Finally got a response but it was to tell me my order never shipped and now they are out of stock of a good part of my order. Won't refund me and I'm basically out of luck. I'll maybe get my order in the next 15 days. Canceling my account after about 5 years because they simply don't care.

After all the reviews I read with shipping problems, I just decided not to try them to avoid the call or emails. I don't want any headaches.

Boxycharm was amazing. And Ipsy taking over ruined it. They are charging extra for refreshments which I never authorized? What a scam
