I don't usually have time to go shopping at the mall so it's nice to find an online shop that has most of my preferred makeup brands. I may not be familiar with many of the brands there, but it's good to know I have more options in the future.

I'm old/new to ipsy witch means I use to have it long ago. Never had this many problems! A simple mistake tunes into K os. Since last 2 months all I wanted was to pause a bag of my 2. There's a plus and a regular 10 dollar one for ppl that don't kno. So I really wish they would get a real 1800 number to talk to a human bc emails are terrible! They canceled my order charged me 2 times and this month told me I can't pause bc of my cancel that "they" did. They charged me again and its not even my fault! Bottom line all I was trying to do in the month was pause one little bag 2 months ago. And now it 3 months later of crazy ness. And Emails I am going to cancel. And all I get are same samples and one that are bad colors, stuff for face I don't use. That's why I pause. Can't blame me for not wanting. Or if I don't use them! I don't want to waist the money;!

Ipsy, use to be amazing. I subscribed for 3 years! This year the changed who they partner for shipping. Since changing to DHL, they have lost two of my glam bags and I'm lucky if I get my package by the end of the month.
Ipsy use to allow you to pick one item in your glam bag. Not anymore! Your stuck with what they choose for you based on your profile- which- they completely ignore.
I wouldn't recommend Ipsy. Not after the changes. They use to be amazing.

I have waiting so long for a bag and shipping said one deliver date and then never came in.
Trying to reach someone at ipsy is a nightmare. Also being new i had no idea when it came to pick my products. Once I realized maybe I did it wrong, I was unable to change it and trying to reach someone on
Instagram or by the the ipsy bot msg didn't work. Not being able to change what I pick when I wasn't sure what i was doing, made finally my first glam plus bag suck. I would not recommend to anyone until the customer service and shipping gets fix. Also not to happy how quick they charge my card and took the money when you cant even reach a live person or able to get a email with a real response.

My account is cancelled. I get into my account and it says it's cancelled. I have an email that says it's cancelled. But I got a charge in my card for another bag. I. My account says I only had one order so they are not sending anything right now but they charged me. This is a scam.
Tip for consumers:
It's a scam. Don't use it.

Took my money for June and still no bag or update on shipping. Customer service is a joke. I have canceled and will. Contact my bank for reimbursement from this horrible company. Steer clear cause it will eventually happen cause I am a long time member so

Subscribed to ipsy and was really excited about getting my bag, once it came i liked the pink bag it got sent in but the contents were a big let down. I got 5 of the smallest items ever made and stuff id never use in this really cheap clear bag smdh. You come out better taking your money to the store and purchase the regular sizes of stuff u really need instead of paying for stuff u have no use for... totally a waste

I am reading the reviews and as far as I'm concerned, we are receiving or will be receiving cosmetics for $10 monthly and usually good things we can use and if not they are definitely good to regift. The simple "free" advertisements we give ipsy by posting to face book or other sites is such a petty thing to complain about. We scratch their back they scratch ours so to speak. We get good deals and they get advertisement. I look forward to receiving my first bag!

I ordered a year's worth 1 1/2 yrs ago and they charged my card another $110 last January. There's no phone number to call so I wrote them. They sent an autoreply and said they would get back with me... case #*******. They never did and I was never reimbursed.

I have read a lot about the social media requirement before getting off the waitlist. I refused to subject my information and that of my friends to this service, so I emailed them and told them I didn't appreciate being "wait-listed" as a form of social media blackmail. They responded quickly, removed me from the waitlist promptly and I have been receiving an Ipsy bag for the past 5 months. I love it. I think for 10 bucks it is fun to get and the items are enough to decide if you like something or not. (in most cases.)
Give it a try...

I joined and never received the product. They have no customer service number to call so you can only write them by messenger or email. I was told to wait 9 more days. STILL did not receive it. Contacted them again and they said another one would be mailed out in 15 BUSINESS days. I said no I dont want to wait 15 more days and was told they don't issue refunds. I will not use them again nor will I recommend them to anyone. This is poor business practice in all areas.

It feels like they are just being random. Items are not tailored and don't come on time. Orders are wrong, don't arrive, not replied to. Just sketchy... I liked the razors but even that was screwed up because instead of the razors I paid for they sent me wipes... Just too distinctional for me.
Tip for consumers:
They are very random and unorganized

I have received my subscription for two months now. The first box had hair products that I tried that were then thrown out. The last box received yesterday also contained items I had to throw out. For example, a lip pencil that was so hard it could not be applied. How old was it? The second was a bronzer that once opened, the product fell out of the tube and was ruined. I may give it one more month but right now would not recommend Ipsy.

I rate them very poor things are missing from my bags they charge me twice and there is no way to contact anyone the website says contact ipsy care center and that leads you to no real answer or anyone that can help you or fix or address the problem. They don't care about the customer only about taking your money.
Date of experience: April 4, 2020
You keep sending me products that are not even close to my preferences and my June bag has not even arrived yet. You need to address the problems of late shipments and be more proactive with customer concerns. You charged my credit card without fail on the 1st. Get it together or I will be canceling my account.

Unprofessional. I have canceled my ipsy subscription. I canceled the subscription two months ago. My bank account is still being charged, you can't get anyone to call you they want to do everything by email. They don't even respond to emails. Stay away from this company. Did not even want to give this company one star but the site won't let you move forward without rating it with a star.

I have nothing to complain about. I've gotten some things I love and some other stuff that's. No matter, the colors are always suited to my tone and it's a gamble. That's the point, and to try new stuff is also the idea. No matter what, it's worth the $10 and it's a fun and unique surprise every month. I have enjoyed my ipsy exsperience. As for people voicing concerns about customer service? I've only been subscribed for 5 months. Nothing has been broken and I receive it at the same time monthly. You can go online and see what you're getting or wait for the surprise. I honestly haven't tried to contact then, as I haven't had any reason. Anyway, I think it's a great company, service, and well worth $10. Good luck

I don't understand I've been a member for 3 months now and have paid for all of them and I have yet to receive my first bag yet. At this point I'm going to wait this month out (because I already paid for it) and if it still hasn't come in canceling my membership and asking for my money back!
It's one this if I just didn't like the product, but straight up stealing my money is not going to fly well with me!

Ipsy is the biggest scam I've ever come across. They take money,$15.34 and the $14.67 every month without sending me anything. When I've attempted to cancel I'm told I have no account with them. You can only go through a robot and the answers are three same for any complaint. There's a reason you can't talk to anyone ever... That's because they will not refund they will not cancel and they will continue to take your money. They gas light you so you think you're doing something wrong, but your not. Month after month after month they take my money, no product ever received and no way to cancel. That's a scam for real! I had to shut down my account completely and start another account. Do not, repeat Do not use ipsy for anything,!

Do not get tricked to subscribe. You can NOT cancel if you do not like it. They said "it was in the fine print" that you HAVE to spend 10 for 6 months. They are scam artists using your personal social media contacts stating that you will be taken off the "wait list'. What a crock. I hope they get sued.

I love receiving my ipsy every month and I have had no problems with billing and if I have any problems they are very responsive.
However, the thing that does bother me about ipsy is that you can only review the products you just received. So if you use something for a little while and find there is something you really don't like about it you can't say anything. It's basically use it once leave a review and that's it. I have been disappointed with many products after a few uses but it had been too late to leave a review.

Ipsy has outrageous value, even if you only end up loving 3 items out of the bag, you still got what you paid for. Also you're trying products out, that's the point of samples, so you're bound to not like something, and I can't imagine ipsy is doing it to hurt you personally. Also I love the bags, the gudetama was magic.
Date of experience: August 28, 2017
At first when I started receiving Ipsy nothing ever came in the bag that matched any of the interest that I had. Then I started receiving the pretty pink envelope completely empty. No bag at all but the never miss charging your account. No customer service phone number to complain to. Total waste of time!
