My April bag never showed up, which I emailed Ipsy of the missing shipment. They emailed me back the next day stating they would send a replacement bag with tracking in 5-7 days. I am extremely satisfied with their fast and friendly team. I've found many full sized items of high quality and well known products. I've also tried new makeup companies that I wouldn't have tried without Ipsy. Thank you Ipsy!
I was very disappointed in the samples I've received. I've never heard of any of the products. I tried them and felt like products I could get at a drug store. I'll give all my samples to my daughters for play makeup.
for the last 3 months i have been getting highligters and dark red lipstick which i hate. and always getting eyeshadow. Is there anything else that you can mail me i dont want to cancell i enjoy the products but just always the same
I signed up for this account and the samples that were sent are tiny and I would be able to purchase something that lasts longer for the same price or less. I canceled and they CONTINUED to charge my account for the following 3 months. That should be against the law. Bank says my bank card has to be canceled in order to stop them from applying future charges.
I received my glam bags but most of the time they were redundant, a lot of dark lipsticks and tiny little things of creams... I cancelled and had no trouble at all... didn't get my April bag but they sent a replacement immediately... not a good fit for me but it was fun getting a surprise every month!
I have 2 Charges showing on my credit card bill but have never received any packages. I have made an attempt to contact them and waiting for a response.Be aware before joining.
Reviews are not all good. Not off to a good start.
This company is ridiculous with constantly wanting reviews to be posted on Facebook and other social media! I hate Facebook and do not want to be kept out of my Ipsy account because I don't want to review them and share it on Facebook! I also love how they tell you that you're on a "waiting list" but they'll push your order through if you review them and share it once again on Facebook. The products they've sent me so far have been great but I cannot stand being forced to review things and share them! It's like my account is being held hostage! I will probably cancel after this subscription is up. Birchbox is much better!
Money Wasted! There are other better beauty subscription services with high quality and healthy skin & bodycare products.
I tried it for 6 months. The first 3 month I received the same kind of items and got allergic to a few of the products. I gave most of the items I received to friends since I couldn't use them. I don't think the staff/worker bees over at ipsy read your profile. I wanted more natural products and expressed to them I have skin sensitivity so they said they would try but did not promise to accommodate since there are so many other subscribers. Yah, pretty much they don't really care about your needs! They only care about taking your money. Of the 6 months, only 4 items were worthy of use. I decided to cancel after continued disappointments in their lack of natural products to include in my bag. Best thing I ever did was cancelling and got my very slow refund after 3 weeks. I think I still have some of their crappy products in the draw - let me know if you want them.
I am reading the reviews and as far as I'm concerned, we are receiving or will be receiving cosmetics for $10 monthly and usually good things we can use and if not they are definitely good to regift. The simple "free" advertisements we give ipsy by posting to face book or other sites is such a petty thing to complain about. We scratch their back they scratch ours so to speak. We get good deals and they get advertisement. I look forward to receiving my first bag!
I gave it a try for 7 months. Filling out my style quiz I was very specific about what I liked and didn't like. My first month was great! But after that I got a constant supply of glittery, gaudy junk. Blue finger nail polish 2 months?! But In the quiz I stated I don't wear polish. Deep burgundy glitter eye shadow!? In the style quiz I chose "natural" make up style. Gold eyeliner?! Again, not a natural makeup style. In looking at the other products offered each month there were plenty of items that fit the quiz answers I gave. But I didn't receive those samples, only the ones that seemed to be the junky left overs. I subscribe to Walmart, Target, and Allure beauty boxes. I love them all! I have had maybe 4 items over the same time period that haven't worked. The 3 other subscription boxes are far, far superior to Ipsy in quality, variety, and wearability. Cancelling Ipsy is a nightmare. I tried to cancel Ipsy for 3 months with no results. I finally had to have my bank intervene and issue a block on future charges for a year! I completed their online cancellation process 3 times, and emailed them 5 times with no results. The charges kept showing up monthly. My advice is to try one of the other subscription boxes before throwing your money away with Ipsy.
In three months. Two bags were late by over a month and I was missing several products, I got dupe products on several other things that I'd NEVER use. Trash subscription. I would not recommend to my enemy! I even canceled, they offered a free 6th item if I came back so I gave them a second chance, and they didn't send the extra item and sent me three face creams in one bag. TERRIBLE!
I canceled my ipsy after 3 months, never received anything from the quiz I took or brands I selected and I chose numerous brands. Some of it was okay but the rest I just would never use. Love makeup and skincare but I was always recieving nail products. It's a waste of time taking that quiz since you never get anything you were wanting to try.
Pleased with ipsy subscription, love the products I receive and theirs well over 30 dollars worth inside. Always arrives same time every month.
The ipsy bag and contents are well worth the price you pay. The products are fantastic and designed just for you. I shared mine with my daughter and she looks forward to my next bag as much as I do. We play make-up and try new looks. If you order you will be well pleased.
Tip for safe: Test the Makeup products for LEAD content, I get many products that have LEAD in my ipsy bags
My name is Mona Stevens and have been a member for almost a year, so has my daughter. You advertise that we will receive different stuff every month and as of now that hasn't happened. I have at least 10 eye liners! I am so sick of getting the same stuff! Would like to see some nice make-up brushes or some facial base.or eye-shadow. If this doesn't happen you are going to lose 2 customer and all my friends that are member will stop because they are sick of it also. Take this to heart. I will also get a hold of the better business bureau, because you are not providing what you say you do. E-mail me back ASAP!
I'm on my third month now. Great make up bags but a lot of the colors are not for me. I guess they really pay attention to the quiz :/
They took money like they said on the first of the month and that my product will be delivered sometimes in the middle of the month. Which it did. I love trying new things as for I'm a makeup fanatic. I like my glam bag this month and looking forward to receiving more products. Thank you Ipsy!:-)
I joined Ipsy in November of last year and have had no problems! I always receive my package, they charge on the first just as they said they would, and I have not received damaged items. People complain about the items they get, but I like that I get new things that I haven't tried or wouldn't think to try! Why join if you're gonna complain about getting samples when you know you are gonna get RANDOM samples?!?! But I enjoy it and I recommend it!

Answer: OK well it depends where you live because here in Canada it is $20ish dollars but if you live in the U.S. A then ya it's worth it. The products are really high quality and I havent had any bad products yet. But for me to live in Canada and pay almost $20 dollars, it's kind of pricey. So it really depends on you, where you live and your preferences. Hope this helped

Answer: Rosi, I have been a subscriber for several months. They send samples of many different brands but not Lime Crime. Here are some of the brands: City Color, trestique, NYX, Luxie brushes, Pacifica, star looks, Bella Pierre, Dermelect, be a bombshell, dls, hey honey, Marc Anthony, Eva nyc, MOR hand creme, Clarks botanicals, Avance, epice, belif creme, REN creme, and peek, and Trust Fund. During the ten months I have been a subscriber, I have only received a handful of high end makeup samples: the Balm, tarte, and smashbox. Some people love ipsy, but my experience has shown me that a lot of times they send me products that I don't like or ones that don't match my "beauty profile". So I will probably cancel soon. The products are not counterfeit, though. If I were you, I would not subscribe to ipsy. Hope that helps! -Heather
