I came in here to shout out the IPSY customer service. I have been a loyal IPSY user for 6+ years. The basic glam bag is plenty for me since I like to try items before I buy full size. Throughout the years I have had some problems with items (wrong shade, lost packages, late delivery, etc) and they have compensated those issues promptly and with understanding. Just recently was looking through the app and realized I never got my September package. They quickly replied to my issue and promptly sent me a new package with the same (or similar) items. 10/10 on the customer service!
I joined back up for Ipsy Glam Bag. The price is now a total of $7 more per month and the items were pathetic! I wound up canceling after 2 bags. What a shame that something that I was once so good has gotten disgraceful. A big waste of money!
I enjoyed ipsy for about a year before deciding to cancel. My problems occurred when trying to cancel. In order to confirm cancelling my order the site kept telling me I needed to confirm an e-mail, which they never sent.
Customer service is a joke, I couldn't find a phone number so I had to resort to their Facebook page (I let them no I have checked all folders and no email from ipsy and was unable to cancel). Over a week later a representative got back to me and her advice was to "check my junk folder". This process was so long they had already billed and sent me a box that I didn't want.
Their customer service just kept telling me they would resend the e-mail and never did (They had the right e-mail stated on my log in page and account settings, their was no reason it wouldn't send). I ended up having to cancel my bank card and be frozen out of my account for 9 days until a new card arrived. HORRIBLE SERVICE don't waste your time or money only to get locked into this service scam.
Ipsy cancellation a nightmare!
Rant here I have been getting Ipsy beauty subscription for over 2yrs I've tried canceling several times with no progress. Customer service # not working supposed to send email to cancel never recieved one in the last 2 times I've put in for cancelation. So I called my banks claims department & Better Business Bureau... horrible service when trying to cancel but easy as pie to join. So sad companies do this just to get your money. But I got your number & I'm not sitting around quietly while you take my money on a subscription I can no longer use or afford!
Ladles, please listen- THIS IPSY stuff ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED for anyone! Website is so backswords - difficult to find any useful info. NON existed customer service for NON existed shipping service with lame excuses for late "shipping". Before paying your actual money think double twice. Even $12 from one lady, imaging 1000 people? $120.000 from dummies like myself for the service like this. Paid $12 for glam bug -never got nothing,, no refund, not a bag, no peep...
I subcribed, filled out the profile and received two months of subscription before I cancelled. What is even the point of choosing the product type of things you're into if they don't give an ish?! The only 3 things I didn't want were mouisterizer, nail polish and eyeliner - got all 3 things both months. Idiotic. Contacted them to cancel - they emailed back and said they couldn't do that for me and gave me steps on how to... so I did. The next month I was charged and sent tracking info for a new bag. When I demanded a refund they tried to tell me I never cancelled it... it wasn't until I told them I had screen shots of the previous email conversation and cancellation verification that they agreed to refund me... then they "cancelled my account"... because it IS possible to control their own softwares active users from the inside *shocker* - Sephora membership is WAY better. You get things you're actually interested in, bigger sizes, plus fragrance, same price.
Got billed on Feb. 10, and received nothing by Feb. 28. Now, they billed me again on Feb. 28 for a March bag.
I reached out to IPSY with the details and they ignored that I was talking about the Feb 10th charged, and just said that my March bag was on the way. After 40$ wasted - never again and highly decommend.
I am the kind of person who is really pleased with most products. But with ipsy I am extremely dissatisfied with their products. I was initially very excited to try out ipsy with all their sample products. The theory behind it is awesome, but all the products that I received were in some shape or form EXPIRED. I was really upset when I gave one of the bags to my mom as a gift, and she complained that when she was about to put on the sunscreen, it oil squirted out of the tube. And this has happened to all my little sample lotions, to the point I didnt trust any of the product and I cancelled by subscription. Needless to mention that although they said that my subscription was canceled I continued to get charged and received products for another 2 months, until it was finally cancelled. Apparently I clicked on the website and that had reactivated my subscription. All I have to say is, it is not worth it unless you are a beauty Guru and wants to talk about them on youtube.
MAJOR SCAM! So I helped my gf out by signing up on IPSY with her referral so she can get a nice bonus item and then I cancelled the subscription so that I would only have to pay for the 1 month. Just noticed an email saying my next shipment is coming. Logged into the site to see that my subscription is still active even though I know for sure I cancelled it!
Tip for consumers:
SCAM WEBSITE! THEY MAKE IT VERY DIFFICULT TO CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION

Ipsy used to be the best. They always give out the absolute best and most valuable sample products compared to other beauty subscriptions. If u found anything wrong with ur ipsy bag just email support and they will send u a coupon for the next bag or extra free samples! It always shipped out on the 2nd or 3rd only a few days after being charged, and would arrive on the 10th! I understand that covid delays are happening but with every other purchase the delay has only been a couple days more than usual. Lately my bag doesn't even SHIP until the 20th and doesn't arrive until i'm already paying for the next bag. I love the products and i didn't even mind when the price went up from 10$ to 12$ but now it seems like too much for the bad service. Not to mention if you email support now they send u a generic "it will arrive soon!" message rather than working with you or fixing the issue. It used to be amazing but now i think i'm going to switch to a different beauty box.
Tip for consumers:
make sure you’re willing to wait over a month for your bag before subscribing.

i usually use 2-3 out of the bag and sell the rest online.
I've been a customer for years and i decides to change my plan this year paid in full for my full size products! Since I didn't want them to charge next year for full payment just monthly I sent them a request and they said it wasn't possible…that I had to stop my subscription for next year and then they will send it monthly… I have it paid in full until march. Since I stopped the subscription for next year I can't put item reviews anymore and get points for free items, even thought I'm still a customer because I have it paid in full untill next year … they've been sending uglier and repeated items, is not worth it anymore …
I have ordered Ipsy bags for my 2 daughters for a few years now. Recently, my oldest daughter had changed her address as she had changed her place of residence. After the move, she had not received her Ipsy bag for 2 months. While I was initially concerned Ipsy has no customer service number, they do offer the option to contact them through FB messenger. When doing so, I did receive a response almost immediately. Many messages were exchanged between myself and the representative and all responses were in a very timely manner. The representative was very helpful and made every effort to resolve the issue. She went above and beyond by reissuing both bags (that were not received as a result of the address change) and by also ensuring the address/delivery issue was rectified. The representative was extremely professional and made a very genuine attempt to provide great customer service while rectifying the situation. Therefore, I will say in addition to always being satisfied with Ipsy's product, I am now beyond pleased with Ipsy's customer service. I highly recommend Ipsy to anyone who is considering a subscription!

My first bag was shipped on March 22nd. It's April 15th and still no delivery. It's been sitting in one place since April 1st. And today I received a notification my April bag was shipped. Absolutely ridiculous. Which one will I get first? I guess we'll find out- it'll be my first and last that's for sure.
I've had IPSY for the months of July and August. My July bag was missing an item. I contacted the IPSY support line twice over the span of 2 weeks and didn't hear back.
Then in my August bag I got a highlighter that comes in bronze and pearl, although my profile says I'm very fair skinned I was still sent the, close-to-orange, highlighter.
Contacted IPSY again to no avail.
Canceled my subscription.
Love the different products each month. Opens me up to try other things I would have never heard of otherwise. I just upgraded to glam plus bag and the bags are adorable!
They took 40 dollars out of my account and are refusing to refund it I have never once bought Any item off of here I didn't nt not suggest using this site at all for anyone young or old they are a scam and will be prosicuted by the full ext

I usually don't leave feedback or write reviews if I like the product! In this case I liked the products but I have no idea how they obteined my card information. Here is what happened, the card I was using got stolen and my bank cancelled it, so I decided not to update my card info because I really wasn't dying for their products. So the beginning of this month they tried to charge me and obviously they coudn't, so after almost 2 weeks I received the email that my bag is on its way. Why? And how the $#*! they got my card info, if I didn't updated my card info is because clearly I don't want their products.
When I first signed up for Ipsy I was excited. I received my first bag and a timely manner with some awesome products and everything. Then came May as of today June 22nd I am still waiting on my May bag and I keep getting the runaround no straight answers. And I haven't received my June bag either it should have been here by now they tell you it's a problem with the carrier and the contact them the carrier tells you it's a problem with Ipsy and the contact them over and over and over and over can't get straight answers from anyone. Was very difficult canceling my membership but once I finally got it done they wanted me to try again. No way waste of time and money as far as I'm concerned

Just starting up with them in February 2023, by April 2023 two orders were never received. BUT the May order just came. Since there is no response from ISPY I wasn't going to out of $180.00 I had no choice but to have my credit company investigate this company. So there is absolutely no customer service. But there is ROBO. I was so excited to start a monthly subscription but the stress is too much to handle!
They charged my card And sent me a bag AFTER I had already cancelled. After two weeks I checked the tracking and apparently it had "been delivered" DAYS ago and Ispy did not notice and was going to let me just lose money and not get the bag. After calling and calling I sent an email and they said they would send me another bag. And it says it won't be delivered for a week and a half.
10 out of 10 out not recommend
Always get my bags on time I didn't get one because it was lost and then I moved but ipsy sent me a free one as soon as I expressed my problem to them never had anything damaged and i have never been dissappointed in a bad yet!
Hi Stephanie! We're happy to hear you love your ipsy subscription. We appreciate having you as a member of the community!
When I first signed up, I was waitlisted and didn't post on social media, so it took about 6 weeks before they deducted my first $10 from my bank acct and I received my first bag within 14 days after that.
I have had a few bummer samples here and there, but every bag of samples I've received has been more than worth the $10 I paid. The bags they send their samples in are adorable, too! This month I received a Jessie's Girl eyeshadow primer that I've been wanting to try (it's great!), a Briogeo hair volumizer, a Douccee eyeliner (this was the bummer of the month: my current brand lasts longer), a Trust Fund full size nail polish in a great color, and a Hikari lip gloss. It's like a birthday gift every month! I'm a pleased subscriber!
I have been missing mail for 4 months of merch I'm just done, now how can I trust you anymore. I'm going to cancel my services with ipsy and boxycharm and never trust them again. I'm really upset. I have screanshots of missing mail totaling 8 items missing. Contact my email and I can foward proof from usps as well.
Tip for consumers:
Don't trust this service if you don't want them taking your money and not giving you what you ask for.

I signed up for Ipsy and was put on the "waitlist". After being on the waitlist for three months I emailed Ipsy and asked to be removed from the waitlist and stated that I was no longer interested in Ipsy. Miraculously the very next month I was billed and mailed the Ipsy Glam bag. I emailed Ipsy expressing my displeasure at being sent the glam bag and notified Ipsy that I would be contacting my credit card company and reporting them. So I disputed the charges and my credit card company reimbursed my account. I also put a block on Ipsy so they couldn't charge my card in the future. Watch out for this company!
So the first thing about IPSY is that you get things for a cheaper price. I signed up for the tester-sized monthly glam bag($12 dollars a month I think), the experience was okay. I got 5~6 of tester-sized products. Some of them are good and the others are slightly unnecessary. The experience was not as good as I expected it to be but I think it was fine. I don't think you should sign up for glam bags that consist of full-size products because you probably won't need that much stuff. And expect up to 1/3 of the products to be unnecessary.
BUT THEIR INDIVIDUAL PRODUCTS are amazing! They are so cheap on the website IDK why. Overall a positive experience. Definitely recommend!
You should purchase stuff on the IPSY but reconsider the glam bag. Below is one of my fav orders. Great purchase!
WARNING!:
Once you confirm your order there is no way to CANCEL it. EVEN IF YOU JUST PLACED IT!
Tip for consumers:
Do not place the order if you are not sure. And perhaps try one past glam bag to see if you really want to sign up for the subscription.

Everything that I bought. The glam bag's makeup products could go wrong though.
So first off, I had gotten the same nail polish two months in a row and I was PISSED. But wait... when I opened the cardboard packaging, there were finger prints on the cap, nail polish on the cap, and when I unscrewed the cap the nail polish was crusted all around the opening. Itś like someone's half-assed used nail polish was in my damn subscription, HELL NO. Also, the matte lipstick that came with it didn't have a seal, there is nooo way I'm putting that $#*! on after the nail polish incident!
