I came in here to shout out the IPSY customer service. I have been a loyal IPSY user for 6+ years. The basic glam bag is plenty for me since I like to try items before I buy full size. Throughout the years I have had some problems with items (wrong shade, lost packages, late delivery, etc) and they have compensated those issues promptly and with understanding. Just recently was looking through the app and realized I never got my September package. They quickly replied to my issue and promptly sent me a new package with the same (or similar) items. 10/10 on the customer service!
I joined back up for Ipsy Glam Bag. The price is now a total of $7 more per month and the items were pathetic! I wound up canceling after 2 bags. What a shame that something that I was once so good has gotten disgraceful. A big waste of money!
I could live on the site forever! Very easy to use! Love most of the products they pick! They reimburat you if a product gets damaged they reply quickly if theres any questions or complaints
It took forever to cancel my subscription. They make u go thru hoops to cancel then if u don't respond to their email u GET CHARGED AGAIN AND SENT ANOTHER BAG. The products r cheap and smell bad. Their system of cancelling too is very shifty. U have to tap cancel again and again bc it won't register.
I have been cancelling with y'all since July and you still take money out every money even though I told you not to... Out of 4 months I have only got 1 package but yall got 40.00... STOP TAKING MONEY FROM ME... Everyone that is reading this they are, only out for the money because they take it but won't refund it.
Save your money. Title says it's all. Don't fall for all the ads! I had fallen for their hype, I paid a year in advance. Don't waste your money like I did.

Haven’t (and won’t) use any products sent in my “June Bag”
I Started With Ipsy Years & Years Ago But Didnt Care For The Travel Sized Items So I Left. I Went On To Boxycharm But They Sent The Same Things Over & Over Again So I Came Back To Ipsy When I Learned Of The Full Product Size. But I've Been Back With Them For 3 Months & In Those 3 Months I've Gotten Barely Any Makeup & All Skin Care Products. And If I Do Get Makeup It's An Eye Liner Or Mascara. This Month No Make Up Items At ALL! What's Up With That Ipsy? Where's The Good Stuff?
Tip for consumers:
Make Sure You’re Getting For What They Advertise.

Whatever Items I Get I Always Use At Least Once.
I just received my 1st glam bag. It will be my last. Sample sizes are not big enough for single use. I canceled my subscription. Canceling was a little confusing.
Tip for consumers:
Read everything real good. There is a additional auto ship that pops up and if you don't cancel immediately you will pay.

None. Not my color and product was inferior. Just my opinion.
Back on June 18 I paid for my July Ipsy bag it said it was shipped on July 16 and never got it so I contacted them I was told I need to wait till August 4th for them to ship out a new bag now I pretty much have to wait till the end of August to get my July bag. Im done with IPSY!

I don’t want them
Today I received my first ever glam bag. I was so excited to open it. I will admit I was instantly disappointed to see that my glam bag was blue denim with an orange zipper. It's not what I had expected since valentine's day is in February and I thought they would have designed the bag idea around that. Then I look at my goodies... eyeliner, that's pretty decent. A blush brush, ok not horrible. Face highlighter, meh I probably won't use that much. Bronzer, that's pretty cool, I'll definitely use that. And 2 soo AE facial masks. Why 2 facial masks? I mean I'm all for facials and good skin but it just seems like they ran out of ideas and thought, just throw 2 masks in. I'm going to have to look over what I checked off because I'm pretty sure I didn't check off skin care to come in my bag as I have my own stuff I use that works with my skin care needs. I really hope March's glam bag is better. Possibly ipsy can work with marketing to have their glam bags around certain holidays, seasons etc... maybe a few times a year make one up? For instance, May could be "flower power" glam bag? October could be "autumn harvest". Just a few of my ideas to make the glam bags more appealing to the customers. Looking forward to my next bag.
I was successfully bill for the months of May and June and my bags still have not been delivered. I am also not very happy with the customer service that comes with this company.
Most of my products came lte like 1month late. Then they triple charged me and sent me late products. Never doing ipsy it should be called whoopsy

Not worth time and money

None I gave em all away
I love the idea of Ipsy because I tend to be a bit conservative when it comes to trying new make-up brands and I wanted to explore some new products without committing to the full size products. Ipsy claims that they care about the personalization of your product but this claim is completely fabricated. I always update my preferences and I even help the preferences by choosing some of the products available in their next bag (I will point out that it is not guaranteed that these products will make it into my bag). This clearly has had no influence on the random group of products they threw together for me. The contents of my April bag are as follows: A contour brush (listed as "rarely" in my preferences), A green eyeshadow (listed as "rarely" in my preferences and the color is also listed as "rarely"), a lip product by a company I specifically did not list in my preferences, and two products that were listed as "sometimes." I will also point out that I have plenty of products listed as "sometimes" or "often" on 15/18 of the listed make-up products. This is not the first time that I've had this issue but it will surely be the last. I love the concept of ipsy but I cannot recommend them as they clearly do not take your preferences into consideration.
Save your money. These guys are crooks. Horribly incompetent, ZERO customer service. Products often "get lost." And they don't offer refund. How convenient

No
My first bag arrived two to three days after shipping confirmation, that was October. My November bag was "delayed in transit" in Massachusetts, figured an honest mistake. Then it never came. They re-sent the items, except my add ons weren't available, fine. It took me weeks of emailing to get a nonautomated response, by the way. Yet here we are 2.5 weeks after they said they shipped it and I get the SAME email from "dhl" that its delayed in transit in the SAME town in Massachusetts. Went to the real DHL site and entered the tracking number, it registers as invalid. They will impress you with the first shipment then screw you over without a care. Asked for a refund multiple times now, going to berate them with emails until they get a human who speaks English to read my emails and respond. I say that only because their shipping information says the packages originate in North Carolina, they don't. DHL is an international shipping company, so originating in NC means that's where the packages are flown into.
They will go from $12, to $24, then double charge your acct.
There`s no customer service number to call, and they won`t answer emails, AND cancellation is a nightmare
The last 2 months I have not received my Ipsy. What is going on? Money taken from my bank but no glamor bags. Have been with Ipsy over a year now, but am ready to cancel now. And get a refund
I love my ipsy bags, for $10 a month, you get to try new products and they usually put 5 to 6 products in each bag, pretty amazing. Every month new surprises, you cant beat that, thank you ipsy.
I been with ipsy since they started as I have been a Michelle Phan fan for years now. Ipsy is meant to try new things and many of those items may be out of your preferences or comfort zone. The point is to try new products that you may not have used before but actually may come to like. That is the feeling I always got from her videos as well when I started watching them didn't even used to wear makeup and now I am facinated with the art. I also like the fact that at a budget they try as a company to place all different types of items not just makeup. Honestly it's a mix with the glam bags some months you'll get high end products others you may get drug store brands however that's been her style all along she caters to the makeup users that are at a budget as well as those who can splurge. Honestly I enjoy the contrast and many times I'm happy to see that I don't have to shell out 30 bucks for an eyeshadow color that I really like and if I have to buy it again, which I never do because these items are usually full size, that it can cost under 10 dollars. Thank you and in Michelle Phans words good luck!
First of all I spent a lot of time filling out my beauty profile. I also paid extra for an $18 add on. I got an email telling me the items in my bag, none of which really matched my profile. They just threw a bunch of nonsense items together. Now, two months later, I have been emailing their customer support back and forth for about two weeks because I never got the bag. They charged me early for the next months bag before I could even get the first one and decide if it was even worth it and whether I liked it or not. Now, they're telling me the reason it wasn't sent was because the address I gave them was incorrect, and that's why it wasn't delivered properly. This is a huge load of BS. The address I entered is correct and has never been changed. The shipping tracking just says label created, so it was never even shipped to begin with. They keep coming up with horrible excuses and won't give me my money back despite no bag. I am a first timer and they don't even care. I will NEVER subscribe to this scam again. I will continue to warn everyone that this company is a rip off scam and to not waste a second on it.
For what they charge I'm always so pleased with what I get, and the make or break for me for any company is customer service, and the IPSY customer service is amazing, they are always so nice, quick to reply and if something doesn't show up or you wanna skip a month AFTER paying, I always get a refund, they are just awesome
I have been an Ipsy subscriber for 18 months and over the past 6 months I have received damaged, opened and products not in my preferences. I'm about done
Cancelation takes over 6 steps including a verification email (which goes to your junk email folder). Very, very very unethical. I will not be using ipsy again even though I liked their products
