I signed up for JibJab to send one of their videos and loved what they offered, but had forgotten I'd agreed to an ongoing subscription. So when I was billed for another period, I asked to cancel and get a refund. JibJab responded immediately, put through the cancellation and made the refund. I am impressed by their promptness and their professionalism. Thank you, JibJab.
Nothing came out from what have been promised. Unfortunately, I granted free year use of JibJab ( Until the end of December 2020), but when I am making a video, the window pops up and tells me to get registered with payment. So, it is not happening
I am very satisfied with all my JibJab Videos my friends and family like them very much. Through the years you guys have done a great job! Keep adding different funny things to add our faces to the Videos lol.
Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2017
Its fun to use but it needs something in the area of sisters, brothers or family skits with moms and dads dinner time or family times, more in the area of family maybe kids, camping, something scary, or pets maybe even something like weddings or engagements. Lake fun on boats up in the air. Its got the common fun. But with todays technology I thing it can be more creative. Otherwise we sure get a good laugh out of it. Its priced very fair.
The process of adding faces is easy. Finding the right card is hard. I had a 6 year old birthday girl, an eight year old birthday boy, and a 59 year birthday, male all last week. Went to another site for the kids. Friends adopted a new dog 2 weeks ago. Went to another site.
Hire me. I will come up with great ideas.
When I find the right card here I love it.
Not interested in the regular cards on your site. I come to it for the animated ones that I add photos too. That's what I think most people come to it for. So please, more of those.
Thanks.
There needs to be a way to edit or go back without having to start over from scratch. It was very frustrating to get to the end ready to send and find some mistake yo made and not be able to just move the cursor to that spot and fix it and then send. If there is a way to do this the instructions could be better because I didn't find it or it's not available.
But i used to like it more when you could modify the faces better. Having a standard face makes their heads too big. You should have your old choice from before where you can make the face smaller and compliment people instead of making them have big heads. And have the standard one for people that don; t care. All in all I love your jib jabs but the old faces to make where the best
Only used JibJab for a short period of time and requested a refund after 3nd year. JibJab got back to me quickly an answered my request and took care of me. Most companies make you wait 2 to 3 days. This was on New Year's Eve Sunday!
On the website it says clearly $2 per month and only below it says that this will be charged on an annual basis upfront (i. E. $24). This is purposefully misleading. I signed up to send 1 card with the intention of cancelling after sending it, and only being charged $2 - but got charged the full $24. Technically this is not illegal, but will catch a lot of people out. More fool me.
My husband received a JibJab card for his birthday that was hilarious, and I wanted to be able to send cards to my family since they live across the country. Making the cards is easy and fun and everyone loves them. At $18 a year, you can send as many cards as you want. That would only get you 4-5 Hallmark cards with postage (MAYBE). Hopefully JibJab keeps adding new cards so I don't have to repeat any of them.
Signed up, paid my annual fee and when I wanted to download my project I had to pay again. Even worse. I could not download it immediately and had to wait for a mail that never arrived.
Was done as birthday vid in team meeting. Well team meeting came and went. Suffice to say. Horrible experience -
I was very happy with the clip that inspired me to join, thinking there would be more bits filled with fun... there were, but nearly all contain flatulence... I would just prefer to have a broader selection of clever funny clips to choose from that aren't gassy... I'll watch for a couple of weeks and if the line doesn't expand I can withdraw. The Tequila clip is awesome however...
Fun initially, but for the fact that anyone that sees what I post is then directed to the website where It was made and then invited to make their own, quickly takes the fun and novelty out of it. For this reason I probably will not renew because all my friends will have been saturated by then.
Started a 30 day free trial New Years Eve to try and have some laughs with family, decided it wasn't what all we thought it was so I emailed on the 1st to cancel the 30 day free trial, a couple hours after I cancelled I received an email from PayPal that the 18.00 yearly fee had been deducted from my account. I emailed again with no response so now I'm having to deal with a paypal dispute. I didn't even receive a 24 hour free trial much less 30 days. Highly advise people to stay away. Not worth a couple of laughs.
I have received several Jib-Jab cards from my mother. When she had taken ill, I sent her one. It was very easy to find just the right card, right photo, fitting it to the template, and sending. It's a very user-friendly format. I'm looking forward to making my next card. The cards always get a great response!
I was a little surprised that, after like 1/2 hour setting up a video, i was forced to join the membership for $18 bucks in order to get it. Although i thought it was gonna be $1.99. For $1.99, i said ok. BUT it was $18.00
Furthermore, the site is really unfriendly. I should say a pain in the arse.
Well, ya got me and will def be cancelling renewal like today. Bye.
I had a problem with an ad that claimed to give you a free three months service if you downloaded one of your JibJab videos. I downloaded mine and then did not receive my bonus. I contacted support at JibJab and Danielle and Heather were happy to assist me and took care of my issue right away.
I have been a jib jab member since 2008.
Last year for a reason I could not explain initially, my credit card was dropped off the system.
I tried re-instating it but with no luck.
The reason was that after all the $12 subscription had increased by a huge 50%, thus becoming $18.
Since I have kind of a "tradition" making a video every year and sending it to the people I love, I had to pay the new-increased subscription in order to be able to do that.
I am outraged with this unreasonable increase, after all the site doesn't get any new, fresh e-video cards, so what's the point of raising the prices?
The card for my godchild that was to go on August 18, arrived just fine.
The two cards for my son's birthday which I scheduled to arrive on August 21 did not arrive until that evening, thus my title, nervous. I kept wondering and worrying all day whether he would receive them.
I've been a member for a few years.
I changed my e-mail address and my CC information expired and alas, a burp in service. (No one's fault.)
I met the two founders of the company in 2006 at Cannan Partners in Palo Alto, CA.
I am still a huge fan!
Best,
Cher
The folks at JibJab are great! How many times do we contact support and have to argue a case that we deserve a refund before we get the refund?
I joined JibJab a second time by mistake and they refunded me everything without asking questions. I like that kind of customer service.
You guys have not produced a year in review in over 2 years. This was my favorite thing on your site. Also, I don't see much if any new content since the last time I had an account. I will not be renewing again unless I see some new content this year.
A charge was resolved so well that I can't praise JibJab enough. Can't recall a better business experience... prompt, cordial, and a total credit to their business. Not that they need it but the best to their future... which I'm sure will be well if they continue to provide such positive experiences.
It was easy to figure out how to work with photos, and I hope I will improve as I have more experiences with getting the faces the right size. But the bobble head look is probably what is intended. And it is fun.
There were times when -- after I sent a card -- I tried to open it from the JibJab email confirming it had been sent and asking if I wanted to look at it again. When I clicked on that link at various times, there was no video. In one case, I became concerned that my recipient would have the same problem. So, I made an extra effort to make sure he could open it in time.
Although the videos are fun, the selection does seem to be rather limited.
Biggest concern was the billing. The advertisement stated it would be $1.50 per month, what it did not clearly state was that I would be billed for a year up front. I do not like this kind of deviousness.
I am so glad I got this. My family LOVED seeing the videos starring them. It was a lot of fun on Easter. I did have trouble with a few videos. They could not be opened via mail or facebook, but other than that it was great. Loved seeing the family laugh.
I enjoyed giving my Dad a new experience for Father's Day--a jibjab dance with his sweetheart. Many others enjoyed it too! And it was easy to prepare. I do wish there had been a few more dances to choose from, but I was happy in the end with the choice I made.
