NO HELP

I have many complaints with Joann Fabrics. My current problem is that is no customer service on week-ends. There are CS phone#s given on line that are "not in service". How frustrating is that when the order you placed on Friday is charged to your account twice. I have to wait until Monday to reach a rude CS rep. To take care of my problem. (maybe) Your coupons are a farce! There's most always a reason why they can't be used. They always have one for some percentage off a regular priced item. That's when EVERYTHING is on sale! I love the mdse in Joanns but I've heard so many good things about Hobby Lobby. I just might try it today. And by the way most workers in the store are very rude plus I never get the full price for a return without a slip. One time I got less than half price for 8 skeins of yarn. I could go on and on but I have to get ready for Hobby Lobby. This is the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Gf

I have a large amt of JA receipts--mostly cash. I'm injured, unable to work (no disability) & had hoped to make items for resale. (MBA, RN, aargh) I was buying low-priced items so there are a lot on a receipt & I have a lot of receipts. JAs IDs items with useless terms & UPC #s, so it's a royal pain to match these w items. I started to do some returns wo receipts--for lowest sales price store credit. A few days after I ret'd > $40 worth & was issued store credit, I drove 34 mi. To be rudely told there was 0 left on the card--JoAnn's Asset Dept cancelled it. The store refuses to give me back items I have receipts for. JoAnns state that you can do a refund wo receipt for store credit but NOT that they may retroactively cancel it & then require info that only someone who still has the receipt would know: date, the other items on a 'lost' receipt?, city/st,, etc, while keeping your goods? Cust svc won't discuss it & shunts you to a recording, try it to see their demands: *******529.

I find it near impossible connecting with customer service on their website and no invoice with a phone number on it. I'm missing part of my order and can't report it to customer service. Lousy way to do business!

I placed an order online. They took the amount out twice. I called customer service the service representative wouldn't even let me speak was talking over me regarding the extra hundred and $56 they took out of my account she said it was pending I'd receive it back in 10 days. And kept trying to say that they didn't take the money from me it's in pending or the money is missing out of my account she was very rude this is no different than theft.so now I have to wait 10 days over draft my account as she said it won't
Well it will 156.00 I don't have
I have always shopped here for my business, but never again

Horrible coupon policy

I have been disappointed in coupons from Joann Fabrics before, but today was the worst. I know I need to read the things very carefully because there are tons of exclusions. I purchased two zippers and had downloaded the Joann app so I had a 50% off notions coupon. Quilting supplies, sale items, etc. were excluded, but my zippers were regular price, so I thought I was all good. The zippers were $6.99 each, and when the cashier scanned the coupon, she said it wasn't good on those zippers, only on items in a certain area of the store - needles and so on. I had her read the coupon, and she admitted my zippers weren't stated as exclusionary items, but still refused to give me the 50% off. I am removing the app from my phone and will drive the additional 10 miles next time to avoid this store. Very disappointed.

Disgusting

Your advertised "deals" and "doorbusters" are a good ploy to get people in the stores however, when you advertise 70% or 60% or 50% off single items and 40% off your entire purchase I find it annoying to say the least. Your deals are on regular priced items. Ummm, you have everything that is worth anything protected with sale prices. I'd like you to know that I have shopped your store a lot IN THE PAST. I'm happy now to pay a bit more and shop local now. Frustrating to say the least.

Don't use the online store. If anything goes wrong with the order they will refuse to help, saying they cannot fix anything. Too much hassle. Shop in store or a different online store.

I ordered fabric online and they canceled my order, still 5 days later they have not returned my money back. How many days to credit back a gift card? Have send emails and no answer from them. RIDICULOUS bad customer service.

They charged my three time for one online order held my money for five days I had to contact three different customer service numbers in one day go back and forth with managers telling me they were gonna call my bank and rectify it but never did I had to spend hour on the call between and it made my day miserable I should bought anywhere els lesson learned

Disgusted!

I placed an order for yarn. When I ordered it the status showed IN STOCK. 3 times I got an email saying a skein of yarn was out of stock and that part of order was cancelled. It is for an afghan project and now I have a missing color that was originally in stock when I place an order and gave them my credit card number. I am very irritated about this and I will never shop them again.

Delivery takes weeks
January 17, 2023

I ordered some yarn on Jan 4th here today its Jan 17th and I was sent an email stating it would here today
However now it states the 23rd. I don't understand why for $11.95 shipping it takes weeks to receive one package.
Called joannes customer service and some foreign person tells me to call fed ex

Employment At JOANN

I know a lady that has worked for JOANN for over 8 years. I shop there a lot and have gotten to know her very well. She always waits on me and is very professional. She was upset and crying one day and I asked her what was wrong. She told me that the corporate office had told her that she could take $3200 as severance pay or take a 30% cut in pay. Well she took the cut in pay. I asked the manager of that store why and she said she didn't know why but just to save money. Well my shopping at JOANN has come to an end. If that's the way they treat a very good employee then my money goes some place else. This happened at the Mesquite, Texas store and the employee's name is Karen. I don't know her last name. She also asked me not to say anything but I just can't. Please don't take it out on her. I have been shopping at JOANN for a very long time but that has come to an end!

I shop at the QUAKERTOWN PA location, only because there are no other shops in the area who carry fabric. The customer service is horrible. They sincerely don't care if you find what you're looking for or know how to use the products or not. When I called to ask about in-store classes, the girl on the phone didn't know, so I asked if we could ask the manager and she told me that the manager wouldn't know either. What are the chances of that? That is by far not the only bad experience I've had there, just the most recent. It's disappointing, to say the least, every time I go into that store.

Terrible Customer Service
September 27, 2022

Tried placing an order online for pickup using a gift card. The system took the gift card money but didn't place the order. Waited 20+ mins for customer service. Told me I have to wait for another gift card 24-48 hours later and they'd honor the same price. I complained I wanted to place the order now, especially bc it was a pickup order and there was a limited amount of shirts left to order. They did nothing for me, I even spoke to a supervisor. So now I have to wait for the gift card. So frustrating! Not sure why the system took the gift card money but did not place the order!

DO NOT ORDER ON-LINE

I tried (for the first time) to order online (pick up at store to save time) - i received an email that my order was ready. I went to the store during my lunch to pick it up. My order was nowhere to be found. They had to run around to collect my merchandise. I ended up being 15 minutes late to work - my pay was docked. I ordered online to save time, not waste time. I believe they are short staffed. I do not think they should offer online ordering for pick up at store if they cant handle it.

Never again!

I placed an order in april. Every time I check my email something from my order was canceled. One item said it was delivered but as the tracking information it was delivered in texas and I'm in pa. I emailed the company 3 times and it is now almost 2 weeks since my first email and no answer yet. Not even looking into it. Nothing at all. I paid for items that I have never received and cant get ahold of anyone because you cant call the number. Very frustrated and only half of what I originally ordered I actually got from all the cancellations and miss delivery of items.

Yardage not right

I ordered 5 yards of 1 fabric as I needed it to do a project for someone. They are back to shipping a 3 yard piece and a 2 yard piece. I Can't use the fabric like that. Called them and tried to explain I needed the 5 yard piece. They didn't care. Said they send what they have. They don't care what your pattern calls for. Not a very good online fabric store.

They charged me twice for one order! Do not shop at this store and support this kind of theft! They should be boycotted out of business! They added the fraudulent charges on Saturday evening so that the bank would be closed and I couldn't do anything to stop ituntil Monday.

Just OK

Whenever I order online, no matter what time of year, it takes FOREVER to get my order delivered! No matter how many items Ive purchased at a time everything is shipped separately! When I place AN order I like all items to come in one box, not 2 or 3 or 4 different shipments! What a pain having to keep track of them all. When I go to site I can't even find where I can check on my order anywhere. Truely disappointed! My first online order came and only one item was in the bag that wasn't even sealed. I freaked out thinking the rest of items had fallen out somewhere along the shipping route but nope my 4 items came in 3 different shipments! Not happy being disabled and not able to go to my local store that's only 4 minutes away by car, smh!
