I wish I had read this before I ordered. I have ordered or been charged about $200 and have only received 1little pic decorations. I can't even get my orders to come up. I advise not ordering from them online. I'm handicapped and can't go to the store. I have doubts about getting things I have ordered. Email said I got 2picks (lol) in the mail but only received 1. Very bad service. I will never order from them again. I advise the same.I can't add a photo of something I don't have.
Team member name Kim at the Houma Louisiana store, was really rude to my sister in law and my self. It happened about 2 months ago the first time and I wasn't going to return but I gave it another chance and now that I received the same kind of service for the second time My sister-in-law and I will not be returning to your store. I have never received bad service at any other Joann's. I will also inform my family & friends who shop at the Houma store of my experience there and I'm sure that they will not return to your store.
I ordered two schemes of yarn the first one was the grey one the one I wanted the most the only reason I ordered the other one is counteract the shipping cost and make it a little more affordable for me now I get an email saying that there gray yarn is not available but they're sending the other one although I'm not being charged for the gray yarn I wouldn't have ordered the other one at all. Why post items that aren't available? Please keep your online stores updated.
I ordered craft items to keep kids occupied because of the 'stay at home' order. Received an e-mail that 15 of 20 items shipped next day, thought GREAT! 3 weeks later it is still waiting on Fed-ex? I have e-mailed twice with nothing being done... customer service stinks. STAY AWAY IF YOU NEED YOU ITEMS FOR AN EVENT. They were for fathers day but I doubt if they will be here so quick change of plans... 3 items in my order was received and 2 are showing nothing! Very disappointed and will NEVER order from them again.
I used Joann online shopping and was charged 2 and a half times the correct amt. Customer service at the Mansfield, Ohio Joann store where I picked up my 2 items was not a good experience. The clerk who brought my 2 items to curbside could not even tell me t amount of my purchase and offered no help. It has taken me hours to resolve the double plus charge and it is still not corrected. No customer service number either. JOANN DISCONNECTED THEM. I think I know why! Email only and their response times have not been timely either. NEVER AGAIN!
Stood in line for over an hour. Finally got to the front of the line only to be told I couldn't enter the store without a mask. The reason I was in line was to purchase fabric to make masks. Then the store employee proceeded to show me the sign posted on the window of the store. Other signs by JoAnns were posted to where they are able to be read while in line. However the sign about the mask is only on the window of the store and only viewable once you get to the front of the line. This is a sign that should be posted throughout the line like the other to save customers the time.
I don't understand how can this company be still in business! Either their customers don't pay really attention to their advertisements or they just don't care. But I do and want to warn everyone who shops at Joann Fabric thinking thy have competitive sales, they are being fooled with false coupons!
First you can't use a coupon if you are already in the store: You need to place the order online and then wait until they tell you that's ready for pick up.
Second, if they are unable to locate the items that it shows as available in the store, they will cancel your order and just charge you for whatever they have!
The discount if you go shop in the store is only about half of what you would get if you shop through their app. Is this a customer friendly company? NO!
Is this a company who cares about your satisfaction? NO
I am speechless at how they can stay still in business. They are the worst of the worst.
My experience is totally negative and it is not worth my time of shopping online and wait for something they might not find and therefore leave you empty handed and looking for the remaining yarn on your own.
Please, save yourself time and struggle, go shopping somewhere else.
I have ordered fabric 4 times from JoAnn's and each time the wait gets longer. I have now been waiting for fabric ordered last Labor Day for over 1 month. So while I am still waiting for the last fabric I ordered from JoAnns I realized that I needed even more fabric so I found the same fabric online. I ordered it and received it in 3 days! Don't special order from JoAnns.
Nicole was absolutely RUDE here at the Millcreek store. ( SLC, Utah) The Wi-Fi was a tad bit slow, I was trying to pull up the coupon on my phone sense she said she did not have one on her which was perfectly okay. As I looked up she was glaring at me and tried to grab my phone. I tried to explain it was the Wi-Fi was being slow, she continued to glare at me. Talk about feeling uncomfortable as a customer.
She wouldn't even say thank you at the end so I told her "thank you". I am hoping by spreading kindness will help her to have a better day!
I got a gift card for Christmas and it has already been used. I know the card is good but it didn't work. The manager was rude and simply said you have to call the number on the back. I called. Customer Service answered, mumbling I asked the customer service representative to speak more clearly. They looked up my card and said it had been used. I said I thought that it had to have been used fraudulently. They transferred me to a department and was on hold for a long time. Finally a message came on saying they were closed for Martin Luther King day even though today is not Martin Luther King day, please call back
Whenever I go to the store, the bathroom is never available for the public, the manager is rude, people who check you out never are helpful with coupons or the app. Many times even though I have the app and a teacher discount they say it's connected to your phone number but it does not give you the discount now my Christmas gift card does not work and there's no one to help me on the phone. What a scam. I don't even like this store because most of the stuff they sell is cheap junk way overpriced even with a sale it's not worth it.
Multiple repeated shipping delays. Did not receive complete order. FedEx unable to give delivery date even with the tracking number. Love JoAnn's the store but will never use JoAnn's on line again.
I ordered a ruler that said,"ready to ship", so I ordered it. One week went by and I thought maybe something went wrong cause I payed through PayPal and my email is different then it is on my Joann account. I went ahead and ordered another through Amazon and that same day FINALLY got a shipping notification from Joann. Amazon shipped the same day I ordered and Joann shipped the same day as Amazon which was one week after ordering (ordered on Friday and shipped the next Friday). My Amazon order will arrive on Monday and my Joann order will arrive on Wednesday... never ordering from Joann.com again!
Cricut Easy Press 2 shows it shipped but cant track it because the tracking number wrong. No one knows where my iron is... not even the joann customer service rep. Theyve been researching for 10 days now. Need it in time to make Christmas presents. They wouldn't even reimburse me. I have to wait until item arrives and then ship it back? How backwards is this. For a crafting store, this is unfair. Now I have to go to the store and buy another one so that I can make my shirt in time for the holiday. Amazon would never do this to their customers. I WILL NEVER BUY ON LINE AGAIN FROM THIS STORE. Buyers beware.

In the midst of Covid, I decided to try to get out my sewing machine and be productive by making some pajama pants. I ordered 8 yards, so the whole family could have matching pants. It was sent in 3 different cuts. 3 cuts for 8 yards of fabric. I have long legs, as do my daughters, so one continuous cut would have been nice. It was also sent from 3 different stores, so if I want to return it by mail (so I can avoid going out) I have to send it back to each of the stores that sent it. Sure, I can return it in person, but that defeats the purpose of on-line ordering. Why in the world wasn't I contacted when my order couldn't be completed as ordered? Why is it okay that they just do 3 cuts of fabric? Completely unacceptable.
Placed an order for pellon perfect loft filler (for Octos for a Preemie program) on Oct 4th, promised by Oct 6th, now Oct 7th. Spent an hour live chatting and calling customer service - it hasn't even left the warehouse! No reason why - just an "I'm sorry" and a $10 coupon code - woohoo! Nice job Joann Fabrics - won't be using you again! And yes, I cancelled more order and told them to stuff the $10. Extremely poor experience - use Amazon - they're actually reliable.
I am done with Joann Fabrics. Reason: Joann has excellent sales if you order your items by internet, but the problem I have always had and overlooked is the fact they charge me tax. The items are coming from several states away so as most people know no internet tax is a plus. What put me over the edge was yesterday 8/27/15 when I pulled up Joann.com they had the die cutters on sale at 40% off nice savings and they had a coupon for 20% off your entire purchase on regular and or sale items and only $4.99 shipping. Really nice right. Wrong. I call customer service to ask why I was only seeing $2.52 off my entire purchase. The customer service agent was only too eager to let me know that I needed to go to the exclusions page and read the list which by the way covers a lot of exclusions. I then also asked him why was I getting charged Internet tax and he said they charge me tax on the postal address they are shipping to. Does that make any sense? Not to me. They were shipping from warehouse many states away. The answer didn't satisfy me and since this isn't the first time I have received answers from Joann's that made absolutely no sense I am just done with the whole problem. As a business owner myself my business is based on honesty, integrity and happy customers. I don't seem to see that with Joann's.
This was the last straw. On-line ordering has not worked smoothly once from this company. 2 issues this time around with the first being inadequate amount of fabric cut; I ordered 6 yds and they only had 5 available and they fully expected me to pickup and be ok with shortage. However, 5 yards does not work for my project! They have you provide a contact number but the store did not call to check and see if this would be an issue(this was to be a curbside pu) - ah, YEAH! AND, there is something definitely wrong with the computer program that they use. They charged my bank account 10 times for a total of $775.00 for this past order and they say they are unable to correct; I was told I have to contact my bank and wait 7 days for it to clear! Don't need to tell you how that jams up my banking needs. The rep I spoke with was unapologetic as she was mostly unresponsive during complaint process - I get it, what can she say when the company she works for has seriously screwed up time and time again. Unfortunately this is not the only time issues have arose with on-line ordering from having to call to get a rep to process order as it would not go through or items being unavailable and they would ship partial orders resulting in having to contact customer service for a refund - so time consuming. Interestingly, I have yet to hear from CS and it's been over 48 hours > :(

Answer: I feel the exact same way. They cancelled an order I placed online and they never contacted me to tell me the order was canceled. I waited three weeks for an email to come pick up an item. I could have had this item 3 weeks ago from Michaels craft store. JoAnn's sucks!
Answer: Don't order anything from Joann. Go to a flea market or Hobby Lobby who gets your order correct and treats you by the Golden Rule. Joann is terrible and I am still waiting for a refund wherein they charged my account twice for the same order. Run!
Answer: Joann online are thieves and liars. We all need to get together to file a class action lawsuit against them for charging customers twice for the same order and then shipping wrong merchandise. This isn't an innocent mistake... it is planned. The only way to stop them is via a class action lawsuit.
Answer: Depending on which Joann store take your order. The reps are so untrained and very incapable of handling a simple online order at the Menomonee Falls Wisconsin location. They will cancel your order without your knowledge and when u call, they will tell u it will be ready by the close of business. It's, not ready than and when u call back they will say, it will be ready the next day. In all reality they messed up on purpose. ONLY IN MENOMONEE FALLS WI have I always experienced this type of treatment
