How would you feel if you sent a review of a product, JAB did not publish it and you received a note back addressing you (me) as "Richard head"? Would you ever shop there again? Would you ever recommend JAB to anyone. Me neither.
I have it in writing. I gave them two stars for the product and made suggestions on what to do better. But... any criticism reveals their lack of a spine
JAB can kiss my business g'bye. Now that is customer service, eh?... you can bet you can believe the reviews of their products.
Twice I've now had to return a pair of dress shoes I bought online from them. The first pair had two different color shoes in the box, after returning those, I now get the replacement pair which shows scuff marks all over the heel as well as wearing in the upper shoe area. Getting my refund and never again will I even buy a tie from JAB.
I placed an order on 9/14 for my son's birthday for 3 shirts and 2 ties and it with a promised delivery date 9/20, day before his birthday. Soon as I confirmed the order it showed 1 tie had shipped, wasn't sure why the order was separated. This one tie was was finally delivered on Monday 9/26 (promised delivery date of 9/20). Two of the shirts were delivered 9/27 (again promised delivery date of 9/20). One shirt I was emailed on 9/27 that it is not avaialble? A regular cotton blue dress shirt is NO LONGER AVAIALBLE. Very disappointed they didn't meet their delivery promise or inventory promise. I also went to their website to contact customer service before these orderes were finally delivered and the instructions was for YOU to contact the carrier. Never again will I use their website!
I went to the Danbury CT store. Service was terrible. They totally messed up the alterations. They blamed everyone except themselves (the temp worker, the outsourced tailor, et etc). My tux looked horrible at my affair. Pay a little more … go to a quality place like Mitchell's.
It was my first and last time buying from them. The quality of the clothes is really good and it's a nice store. But the people who work there are rude. They don't welcome you, very dry, they get annoyed fast. I felt they don't want to work. I was uncomfortable. The don't respect or appreciate the customer business. I'm very upset. If I have time I will return all the gifts that I bought from them. They don't deserve our money. The store in Michigan Rochester hills at the village of Rochester.
Horrible, absolutely horrible. The Charlotte JoS A Bank couldn't figure out sizes, Tux came with buttons falling off and no "real" vest, some fake thing with no back that was very ugly even though we were assured a full vest-told by Ukrainian manager(don't know her name) that what do we expect, it's a rental, as if I should expect for near $300 to pay for garbage which is exactly what we received. Told them we didn't need some of the accessories, charged us anyway and said there is nothing they can do about it. Called them next day to see if they finished repairs and they left me on hold over 30 minutes, when I finally got there took them 20 minutes to find the tux as they had no idea where it was put. Will NEVER rent from them again. Was told by same manager if we wanted a decent tux we should buy one because we can't expect rentals to be of any quality since they are recycled forever and if we have a problem with it we should contact the warehouse. They take no responsibility for this inferior quality garbage. Do yourself a favor, go anywhere but here. Also manager did not want to help us figure out how to attach this thing they called a vest. Seemed to be missing parts.
The employees at the Jos. A Bank in Brookfield, WI helped me out in an absolute pinch. Needed a tux that day and they were able to help me out through the process, even were able to match me up with a tailor who was able to hem the pants to my fitting, all within a few hours, on a Sunday. Made the whole process easy with no stress, including the financing. Deserve a tip of the cap!
I don't usually write reviews. However, because I'm in sales, and critical of "scripted salespeople" I wanted to acknowledge this unexpected professional level of service. I stopped by the Spring Creek Plaza store to browse for a suit for my husband. We are attending a wedding and he needed a new suit. I was greeted and given several suggestions by Tony. Hmm, I thought I'll ask my husband to come talk to Tony. We both came in, finding Tony courteous, professional and full of helpful suggestions. Tony fitted my husband for 2 custom suits. After the final fittings, we were so pleased with the fit and service that my husband took in several old clothing items for alterations. Thanks Tony, you exceeded our expectations.
My son is getting this week end and my husband waited until last minute to get his suit. After several failed attempts at other merchants I told him to go to Joe A Bank. From the moment we walked in the store we were treated with such warmth and welcoming. We went to the Hickory, NC location and our associate was "Scottie". She was so helpful in getting what we needed in the time crunch. Her knowledge of material and color is superb. It was a wonderful experience truly. Picked his suit up today after alterations and it is one gorgeous suit. We will definitely shop there in the future and recommend to all our friends. Thank you
Jos. A Bank provides good to excellent quality men's clothing (at least in more expensive level suits/jackets/shirts, etc.) at very reasonable prices. Certainly, Bank's clothing is the equal of that at Nordstrom's or Macy's.
Answer: An agent answered after 4 minutes, but the experience was unsatisfactory.
Answer: Guess what. They saved a buck and squeued you. Banks loves your money, not you.
