I placed my first order for a dress and apparently I can't return it for a refund BECAUSE I USED A PROMOTIONAL CODE - a code that they SHARE with their customers on the front page of their website. It feels so deceiving to entice your customers to use a promo code so that you can lock in a customer's purchase, even if they're unhappy with their purchase. I find the dress to be of poor "Made in China" quality that is certainly NOT worth $80: flimsy material, thread coming out of buttons, poor cut and fit. Save your money, avoid this company.
They sent my items through "Sure Post" Which I wasn't aware of. Which means UPS takes it to the local post office. Our mail man is an ididot and instead of walking it in the building, he sent it back. So now my items won't be here for when I need them. I thought okay, no problem I'll call Joyfolie. THEY HAVE NO PHONE NUMBER! The one listed on BBB is not in service. So I sent them an email. They are extremely slow at responding, I haven't heard back. I really need my money refunded so I can find something else for their photo shoot. And yes I've complained with the post office. I'm very disappointed that I can not call and talk to a real person about my problem.
I've ordered from here several times, lured back by the appealing styling. But--and I can't emphasize this enough--quality control is a very serious problem. Every single shoe I've purchased has come undone in some way very, very quickly, and our cobbler (whom I love and serves our neighborhood for decades) tells us that the shoes are basically garbage, not worth fixing at all. And I believe him. The glue work comes undone very quickly, sling-back flip flops for kids are very badly and massively oversized (do they even try to fit them on actual feet?) Clothing is... pretty, and sometimes well made, sometimes terribly made, you just can't tell til it arrives. I've had kids' dresses that last for years and take quite a beating, and pants that are so ridiculously floppy and huge and made with poor quality fabric that I wonder is it even worth it to take to get altered? I'd say if you want to buy so your kid will look nice standing or (better yet) sitting still for a photo, you're good to go. If you want your child to actually wear the clothes and shoes and you don't want to take a risk on the typically overpriced clothing, then go elsewhere. (Returns are a pain). Good luck, Joy Folie. Ordered a pair of sandals for my granddaughter posted at regular price $49.99 and entered an on line coupon that removed $9.99. Package arrived and the sandals are for a one year old and very cheap quality. I feel like we paid $49.00 for very beautiful packaging. These sandals represent cheap mass produced Chinese imitations. They come with gardenias that have little pearls and not all of the flowers have pearls but threads. I emailed and chat with them just to hear that it is a final sale! Regardless to say I was not posted on the page until I stated my request for exchange not even my money back. I had plans to be a customer now I am not considering ever purchasing anything from them again. They claim they are a small company but in there page story they mention they are already big and successful! You can expect to gain faithful brand recognition lying and not assisting customers with weird size postings. I was told they would email me a resolution, which has not been done. I will do what ever I need to legally to make sure they stop lying and stealing from hard working customers,

Sometimes you get something that is nice and sized right and other times its a big miss, im not sure why they even have size charts b/c their line of clothing has no rhyme or reason to the sizing and should be completely ignored. I had problems getting the buy one shoe get another free and they say they would hsv to manually do my order but hen I got around to doing this, they say that promotion was over and I could look forward to the Labor Day sale WTF. It was their fault and im sorry I was busy with my life and didnt have time to immediately go in and sen them my shopping cart. I already spent my time shopping for it and then the sale didnt work. They should honor that no matter how long it took me to send them my cart> TERRIble Customer service and I think some of these reviews, saying how great they are, have to be there employees. Just trying to save the brand. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I love their girls clothes so as of now I am continuing to buy from them, although the women's clothes I've bought never seem to fit right. Also, I wrote a mediocre review about an item and it was either never posted or removed promptly. The main problem I have is that if you are "an insider", meaning a member of their site, you are supposed to get a monthly free gift with purchase. Each email says "no promo code required". I have made several very large purchases the past few months, and have never received the free gift. After the first month of not receiving it, customer service told me they wouldn't send me one after the fact, and sent me instructions for what I was supposed to do next time. Supposedly you have to "select your free gift" from your cart in order to receive one, even though that isn't mentioned in the free gift emails at all. I have tried multiple computers and multiple browsers but never see this option. CS basically said too bad, even when I chatted online as I was about to make another purchase and asked if they could add it for me. Seriously? So rude!
Beautiful clothes but don't be fooled. Google them and their consumer complaints. I ordered 2 items for 159.99. Paid for express shipping. Wasn't notified the items were backordered until after purchase. Shipping went from Nov 20th, to the 30th, to Dec 4th, then to Dec 7th. I was never notified of any delay. No customer service number exists. Had to email twice with no response and finally hunt down their wholesale number to inquire. I was more than patient and gave them more than ample opportunity to resolve my order issue and gain a satisfied customer. I ended up having to file complaint through the FTC and BBB to try to get matter resolved. Do your research before making any purchases from this company!
I have been a customer of Joyfolie for about 4-5 years and I just love them. I love how stylish my daughter always looks in their clothing and shoes. I cannot image celebrating a holiday, birthday, or any other occasion without Joyfolie. In these past 4-5 years, I have placed well over 50 orders and I have never had a major issue or an issue that wasn't resolved immediately. I have reached out to their customer service department via email and I always get a response within 24 hours. My issues have been resolved painlessly.
I am really floored by the reviews I am reading. I think if people took the time to read size charts and item descriptions they wouldn't have any problems but we live in a day and age where everyone is rushing and then blames the company for their own carelessness. Any complaint on shipping should just be deleted unless the order was not fulfilled on time. A company has no control over how long a carrier takes to deliver a package.
