My order arrived today, and I can not express how delighted I am in the superior workmanship. I love these sandals so much! Perfect fit. Thank you so much. No where can deliver such a Beautiful hand made high quality sandal. I cannot wait to show these off and recommend this store
They sent me a damaged product and refused to sent me a full refund even after promising. They are liars and scammers. The worst company I've had the misfortune of every buying from!
The polo shirt arrived as I ordered.
One minor suggestion: The polo shirt collar should be bigger in size and width.
Best wishes!
Super prices, great service, fantastic products. I would recommend to anyone who wants to have a product, a superior product this is the place to go.
I ordered several items and have been pleased with everything. However, I did order 2 menorahs and they haven't come in. Can you help me with this?
After complaining about a series of maps I had purchased, I was given a partial refund. I was pleased with the company's response.
Bought my husband a watch and he was very pleased with it, my purchases from yourselves always arrive and we are always happy with a purchases
The communication to get my preferences was impeccable and timely, and the product was flawless. Would definitely recommend and order again.
I was very satisfied with the quality of the product and the expediency with which the order was handles
I received my Amethyst 14k gold Jewish star on Friday. I was extremely pleased with it. The workmanship was beautiful I will order from them again
Very good, got a little worried over shipping time but it arrived within the 14 business days I believe.
Products are exquisite, i definitely plan on shopping here again. Customer service is the best ive experienced!
Excellent customer service and thrilled with our purchase! For custom jewelry it came so quickly. Would highly recommend.
I've been buying my sandals from this company for ten years now. Well made, long lasting, comfortable and I absolutely love them.
I ordered a magazine David with the Lion of Judah pendant and it is beautiful. Superior craftsmanship.
Thank you so much for your lovely review.
They gave me a wrong tracking number and they keep playing witg me. Wish I could see those reviews earlier.
We love the mezuzah and the Tree of Life art we bought. They are unique and good quality. We hang them both proudly in our home.
Outstanding.
Low quality and werst products. Manufactur saying five metal necklace but it feels like low quality metal.
Got what I ordered and happy with it When I need another kiddish cup will buy it off them. Happy with the service and the kiddish cup
I would not buy anything from this store. I ordered a menorah (around $179) in March 2010 as a gift. It arrived in Australia in May and the box was damaged and broken, with the menorah sticking out. I took photo's before opening the box because I suspected the poor packaging had risked the safety of the menorah - which was confirmed once unpacked. It was not just bent but the paint had been scraped off. I spoke to Carolin customer service who told me to send it back via airmail and that once she received it she would refund me the postage and send me the new menorah. I did this, and they resent (it took some time while they waited to receive the faulty one) me a menorah which was also damaged - this time a manufacturing fault - where the varnish had not dried properly and had large drips all over. Again I sent Carol pictures and she told me to post it back. I said she hadn't refunded me for the first postage ($68) and she said she would refund me both amounts on receipt of the second menorah. By now i didn't argue because my friend's bat-mitzvah present was months late and I just wanted it to be done quickly. Carol told me she would send the menorah immediately this time, and not wait to receive the faulty one back. She also said because the airmail was so expensive I should send it back by sea and she would refund me for all postage ($113) once it had arrived. Well it is now a year and several emails and calls (at my cost) to Israel have been ignored. Last I heard in January that Carol was still looking into it. It is now June. I sent a letter to customer service a week ago which has gone ignored. Quite frankly I am disgusted. Firstly they trusted me to send the faulty goods back and I trusted them to refund the postage. Besides bad service, inconvenience of giving a very belated gift, I have had to chase up money owed - there has been no effort to ensure I am a happy lifelong customer. I am now going to share this story online with as many people as I can.
Purchased an item late April for my wedding in early June. After 2 weeks of no shipping notice I contacted the company in regards to my purchase. They told me they would look into it and get back to me, then nearly a week later I was contacted on a Friday and told it would be shipped out on Monday. Fearing my purchase wouldn't arrive on time, I asked to cancel the order. Come Monday, after telling them to cancel my order, I received an email telling me the item was shipped. Now the item shows up after my wedding, while I'm on my honeymoon, and I have to send the item back. I was told that once the item was received on their end I would receive and refund for the purchase, and I would be reimbursed for the shipping costs ( since the item was shipped after I told them to cancel the order). I supplied them with a copy of the shipping costs, and an email address for my paypal account ( I was told they could only reimburse the shipping cost through paypal). Well, after several attempts to contact the company, sometimes they will respond after 2-3 days, sometimes there is no response at all (until I send multiple emails). Each response I get is filled with lies and all they are doing is giving me the runaround, instead of giving me the reimbursement they agreed to. Its now October and this issue has yet to be resolved.
I would not recommend this company to anyone to do business. If you see Judaica Web Store in your searches, RUN AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN. They are very unprofessional, and the entire experience is painstakingly overdrawn. Maybe one of these years I will get my money back from them, but I'm not holding my breath.
I had a question and it was responded to. Excellent experience. Tallit, yamulka and bag are beautiful and great quality.
In January, I ordered a tallit for an event in early February. The JudaicaWebStore made an error in the shipment, and sent me the wrong size tallit.
I tried to work with the company to receive the item I'd actually ordered in time for the event. The company insisted it would only send me what I'd ordered after it had received the erroneous shipment back in Israel, and also insisted that it could not be returned to them by any private express mail service. I was told by the customer service representative, Shimi, to ship it from the U.S., at my expense, by what he called "regular air mail."
Shimi promised in writing to refund my postage costs to me once the return had been received. I shared that since the item I'd actually ordered could not arrive in time for my event (unless express mailed to me by the Company), I would have to cancel the order.
I then took the item to the local post office, gave the clerk the exact return instructions that I had received, and was billed $46.30 for postage.
When I followed up on the postage refund, Shimi told me that I had spent too much on the postage relative to the cost of the item that I'd ordered, and that therefore JudaicaWebStore would not refund my postage.
To date I have received not one cent towards the postage costs.
I also have not received any response from the owner, Ari Barel, who I also have emailed.
I've shared this story with friends at my synagogue, all of whom are dumbfounded at this type of unethical business practice from a company that ironically states it prides itself on customer service.
I would still appreciate a refund, and of course would update this review if that occurred.
Very sorry about the misunderstanding, your agent is working on this,
I ordered quite a few items in the spring of 2010, including my favorite item in my order, a beautiful Esther Shahaf necklace, on which the enamel began to wear off after several months, even though I had taken it off every day before going to bed and never worn it in the shower. My husband was understandably annoyed, as was I, but when I sent an email to the judaica webstore customer service explaining the situation, and asking them if anyone else had, to their knowledge, ever experienced this, since so many different styles of the Shahaf necklaces are enameled, I got no response. I explained in the email that I was even willing to buy a 2nd necklace (as in not even try to make an exchange! Because I thought that the necklaces were so pretty) but I was trying to figure out if in case the exact same thing would happen again, could I then ask for an exchange/return. I re-sent the email just in case it had gotten lost in cyberspace, but, not to my surprise, unfortunately, still no response. Not even the common courtesy of an email back to me saying anything at all. I will probably try one more time to send an email, but with all the stores available to buy beautiful judaica made in Israel, I certainly will not be buying anything from this store again. I will definitely also NOT recommend this store to anybody! It also may or may not have anything to do with courtesy, or fraudulence, maybe bad website-planning, but after I placed my order I was unable to track it in any way, in fact, I could not even find a way in to the website to enter my order # to show that I had made this purchase at all! I feel lucky that I printed out a receipt initially, because it was the only tangible communication I had! Bad service all around---be forewarned!
I had a gathering of a few friends and family. The 1 Jewish participant had chatted a lot about anti semitism over the year incl the awful Kanye. His Judaica items and heirlooms were taking on greater importance. I thought it would be great for his gifts to be items from Israel. I ordered 3 items on Dec 17th with the fastest delivery using Express Mail noted as 2-4 business days, getting items to me in Palm Springs by Dec 23rd (prior to the bad weather obstructing delivery potential). $160 of items costs $200, $40 for shipping.
Turns out another 2-4 days are required within Israel to assemble the package of items prior to shipping them. The only way a customer would know to know this is if they happen to notice & read the small "When will my order Arrive?" in the lower right hand side of the screen BEFORE you get to the shipping page where destination details are entered and shipping options and costs are shown. Very misleading.
And the company is well aware of this based on the 1 star reviews pertaining to shipping and their responses to customer complaints which I only thought to check after the order was placed given my curiosity over how I got timelines so wrong and after I had a few email exchanges with a co. Rep.
My Jewish guest was the only one to not receive a gift during our Christmas / Hanukah celebrations and is now leaving Palm Springs, a day before the gifts are estimated to be delivered in PS. Given that a large portion of business likely results from the diaspora ordering items for time sensitive dates like birthdays, bar mitzvahs, Hanukah, etc. this seems bordering on dishonest. Very disappointed.
Product was as advertised; delivery time was awful. Took way too long for my order to arrive...
I am very satisfied with my purchase of a "SHALOM" doormat. It is just what I wanted. JudaicaWebStore has always had what I wanted.
Thank you very much!
