Trying to find a wiring diagram for my 2021 Ford Ranger. Was sent nice colored schematics, which turned out to be incorrect. In all fairness, the Ford dealership didn't have the right schematics either. Nothing seem to match the vehicle. We identified the proper wire by using the pin that it was attached to rather than the color of the wires, which were not correct by either person.
I recently was charged $46 for asking one question to one of their alleged attorneys while under the impression it was only $5. I came to them in a vulnerable mental state and upon receiving and unsatisfying answer I asked the attorney to not contact me anymore. They did. They continued to contact me after I repeatedly asked them to stop harassing me. They refused to tell me their full name or bar number so I could report the continued harassment to the proper authorities. The whole experience left me in a worsened mental state that I was already in. Beware of this company and their shady practices.
I got quick and very useful advice on a problem with my washing machine and I was happy to pay the $5 fee (advertised as "refundable"). However, four days later, an email arrived saying that my membership would automatically renew the next day for $37 per month. Unfortunately, I had no internet or cell phone service to see the message, let alone cancel the service within that very short window. When I called to complain two days later when I saw the message, I was told I had agreed to automatic renewal when I registered. They refused to cancel the charge, but did cancel the automatic renewal going forward. So be forewarned, you should cancel the service immediately after you have received an answer to your question, or you will get trapped into paying a very high monthly fee.

We also send several membership-related emails that mention your next billing date, including a Subscription Reminder email to announce that your trial period is coming to an end and that your first membership payment is coming up. I just realized I have been paying $29 a month for a service I don't even remember agreeing to. I saw it was $5 to ask a question and paid that. To be honest, I had been up all night with a sick dog, so I was slightly delirious at the time and failed to read the fine print.
When I noticed the charge on my account today, 4 months later, I called to ask for it to be reversed. They refuse to refund me stating I was notified of the membership fees. They do not send any reminders that your membership charge is occurring, and customer support is clearly outsourced and offers very little help.
I asked if I could have at least one or two months refunded since I never used this service because I didn't even know I had it. But, they refuse to offer any refunds so I guess my $5 question has now cost me $150. I definitely got hoodwinked.

I asked a legal question to which I was told I had no recourse. Since I am not a lawyer, will give that one benefit of the doubt and assume advice was candid and solid. However the intro when they collect your details they tell you $1 to continue the chat. If you click continue you are charged $61 dollars even if you cancel the membership (that you didn't sign up for) without using it. Is this legally fraud - probably not, but it is a deceptive and unethical practice.

I cannot attest to the quality of the advice offered, nor can I criticize it. However I do believe their offering is deceptive. It should just state upfront that to answer your question you must purchase a $60 membership. As it stands they tell you $1. That is not correct.

I tried to use this site to get a quick mechanical answer when I was in a jam. The question was responded to but not answered in any helpful way. Then the charges started. I have a lot going on with my CC for my business so I did not notice until now. They refused to refund any portion of 1 years worth of fees even though I only asked that first question the whole time. This is a great example of the bottom feeder Internet. Beware.

Be sure to cancel immediately. They will never communicate again and keep charging forever.

I needed to find the screw that I lost.
They advertise that they'll answer your question for $5 but they really charge you $5 plus and additional $39 as a monthly membership charge that they'll keep charging you every month until you cancel. Not only that, but their mechanics have no idea what they're talking about. The person they connected me to, which was supposed to take less than an hour but actually took until the next day, basically told me to consult a local expert. What a joke.

I have a sick dog and didn't want to drive hours for a vet. Signed up, had a vet chatting with me within minutes through their app. It cost me $5 plus $35 for the monthly, so $40 total, which is a steal compared to a vet visit. Pinpointed the exact problem and told me where to go buy the stuff needed to help her. Perfect use of good technology. A+.

JustAnswer has a big $1 button that appeared to be their charge to verify your credit card, but then, without your approval, they made additional charges. Very deceitful!...and no refund after complaining to Customer Service. Beware!

I am downsizing and posting items online for sale. I am relying on Just Answer experts to make sure I price my items correctly.
I'm not sure how I found it. Possibly during a search requesting a value for an item.
Having trouble with a ebay order and was directed to their chatline, which in turn put me onto justanswer. A$2 recoverable fee was mentioned, but when you join, you are charged $66 and a further $66/month for a subscription. I immediately cancelled the subscription, but am still being charged for the original query. Totally deceptive and preys on the less sophisticated internet users.

Saw it online.
I asked a question on December 25 that was never answered. I called on 4/5/2021 to cancel my membership. I was told everything was taken care of but here we are two months later, still being charged. The customer service chat is run by bots. I had to go through 2 bots before I could chat with a real person who took care of my request. Time will tell if they actually cancel my membership this time. I attached of the unanswered question made back in December

We called for help with our dog. Paid $40 and wasted a lot of time. I could have gotten the same advise from my Mother who is not a vet! We ended up going to an emergency clinic that evening. Unfortunately we wasted hours with JustAnswer and some money as well.

There is a fine print 'gotcha' clause after you pay for one answer. 2 months later you are charged a membership $30, maybe more. In initial billing it should tell the consumer upfront, not hidden, that your 1st answer is this $ amount, PLUS a membership fee to be billed in 2 months time.

Value is placed by useage of each individual. In my case the price was way beyond what value the answer had for me.

I read an answer on this site… and was charged (without giving my credit card information to them) for one year subscription, un-refundable, by the way.
All I can say is buyer beware especially if you don't know you're buying it and my bank keeps popping up with it's a fraud so choices yours

This company is a joke. I requested a membership cancellation and refund and got nothing but a big runaround. I would suggest not to use this website if you don't want to loose money out of your bank account. It said it was $1.00 and they charged my account $46.00 resulting in a $15.00 overdraft fee. I am very angry over this.

I can't believe how quick I received responses on my questions, in all types of legal matters both with estate law and personal injury matters. The information I received is useful and It's well worth the cost because you just never know when you will need legal advice. I recommend this site and app to all who need reference from a customer.
The chat bot "Pearl" invited me to ask my question to a lawyer and stated that it would be a $2 fee, fully refundable. Gave me a link, and I signed up. She made no mention of an immediate monthly fee. I was charged $66 and the company refuses to refund me, citing some small print. I don't respect businesses that mislead customers then refuse to make it right.
