No way to speak to a human except when you change compagny, then you received a phone call to try to keep you with koodo... It's a self service compagny so no one will help you if something happend.
Just called Koodo with my almost 80 yr old mother. She requested they cancel her account last year after they cancelled her service. She paid them $10 and asked them NOT to reconnect the service! Apparently they "didn't understand her" and re-installed the service and charged her the $50 reconnection fee as well as $30 a month for 4 months before she finally get them to cancel the account. She tried one other time in June but after 30mins on hold she had to hang up. Now they have sent her to a collecton agency and the agency agrees the charges as NOT valid. Koodo can see there is NO record of any use of the phone after April but will not Admit fault and provide kind, courteous customer service. They are determined to collect just under $200 of a seniors pension for a service that was NOT asked for, was NOT used and was supposed to be cancelled! After YEARS of being a customer I will switch providers as soon as I can! I DO NOT recommend this company anymore AT ALL! DO NOT sign up with them if this is how they treat customers. A video recording was made of the phone calls we had with them today and will be posted online as I'm absolutely disgusted with the responses.
I was Koodo client for sometimes and was against negative reviews until I was victimize myself.
I had a package to call Canada, specifically requested to block International and US calling. I know Telus is master mind of stealing money through Koodo. Through out my services with koodo no one called me from Telus but last month I received a call from Telus that my limit has reached to $3xx for US pay per minute calling. I told them that I have fixed billing for Canada calling only. The told me my package include US + international calling. I asked him who changed it and he had no answer but insisted to pay the amount.
I called Koodo and was told that they will investigate the issue. A week later I received a text message that my bill has reached to $6xx. I was shocked again and the first thing I did was to change my phone company.
After multiple calls to Koodo, issue was not resolved and now Koodo is asking it is with Telus what the... Couple of long long calls issue remains the same. Now they have send the case to collections, I will not give up will fight until the last ball.

WORST COMPANY! I have had nothing but problems with this company. From adding charges on my bill or not explaining to me that I would be charged for something I was inquiring about.
I cancelled in June, paid may outstanding balance, and TODAY in the middle of August I am told I had an overdue bill! I called asking why I am receiving this and they said back in May I had extra charges "they did not see" for my final bill in June. Not only that but they contacted me 6 DAYS AFTER bill was suppose to be due telling me they could not contact me before. They clearly still had all my information so they did not try contacting me. Instead they contact me when my credit score starts to become affected.
WORST COMPANY EVER! They do nothing but contradict themselves. And I have been with them for years and they couldn't do ANYTHING for me for being a loyal customer before hand. Even when I was a customer they do NOTHING for you. After taking 30 minutes off work to explain why I should not be paying for their f*** up they only offered me $1 off... are you kidding me?!?

I had an account with them, they didn't made me aware of possible disconnection limits in time. The sent me an email reminder me of payments, a ccepted it, the next 2 days, the cut off my phone line! Had i know about disconnection limits, i wouldve tried my best to avoid it. I call to inform them about the matter and they are denying me to opportunities to resolve my case and disrespected me on top of it. I ask to even speak to a Manager and they said i cant and refused me the rights of speaking to a manager. This company doesnt care about customers and are not good at communicating pertinent information. So i would strongly advise! BRING YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE YOU AS A CUSTOMER MATTERS. You will be happier I you listen to this advice.
I got very good service. A very patient lady helped me to solve the problem! Highly recommend! Will come back again if I need!
Cancelled contract months ago & surprise got an outstanding bill with a bad credit score scare & collection agency warning! Please people STAY AWAY FROM KODOO. P. S NO, NONE customer service!
Even though I haven't used my data it was finished before the month ends so I had to pay $25 for 1gb

Koodo customer service is the absolute worst. The only reason I lasted 20 years is because someone with authority would admit a mistake and eventually fix it to what I was promised in the first place... other representatives do not have a clue about anything and just keep transferring you until your so upset you just end up paying the f&%k up to just get away from there obvious attempts to scam you anyway possible. The koodo Hub is the biggest joke. I never got it to work properly inspite all the "customer service" the multiple sim cards the driving to town to replace the dud. The last 5 years with koodo has been hell for me. Now I have to pay $233 dollars for a hub they just forgot to send bills for until April 20th... this hub is 20 a month and somehow I owe $233 and not one email before April 20th asking if I have forgotten to pay my koodo... no text messages with amount owing either... and I am told by 4 representatives that it's all my fault and regardless of the hub not working and not being used i still had a active phone number. I will never recommend koodo to anyone or any business I work with. Im even starting to regret going to telus because they said my koodo was closed and obviously it was not. I have PTSD as well as a personality disorder and it's pretty bad when koodo keeps screwing me with hidden charges and representatives who are dishonest and lie just to get you signed up. I sure hope I didn't make a bigger mistake going to telus. Only time will tell I guess.
I am a long standing customer of Koodo mobile. In June 2023 KOODO CALLED ME and offered me a "free" tablet as a thank you for my perfect payment history. This tablet was FREE to ACTIVATE ($50) and I would be able to cancel at any time. These conditions were repeated by the Representative many times. In turn, I would pay $15/month for 4G of data. I certainly wasn't looking for another device or to increase my monthly bill, but it was no strings attached, right?
When I received my bill in July 2023 I saw that I had been charged the $50 activation fee, so I called to dispute the charge. Many kind Representatives and an hour later I received my credit, but not before I was obviously frustrated.
In August 2023 I attempted to cancel the 4G of data. The tablet hasn't been used and has been collecting dust and we have adequate WiFi at home. I then learned that in order to cancel the service I would be charged almost $300 for the cost of the "FREE" device. Which I declined. The service Rep literally laughed at me on the phone and continued to tell me to be respectful, which I was. I was speaking clearly and authoritatively (no swears) but I have had enough with their time wasting scams.
DO NOT accept any "FREE" offers. This company is a pro at keeping their customers locked in and blatently lying to them.
Answer: After 5 years of loyalty and many After 5 years of loyalty and many instances of deep frustration at there lack of honest customer service, this company has seriously let me down during covid19... 3 days and 3 "managers" later I am still unable to get a straightforward solution... in quarantine, need data... RIP off 100mbs for $10! I added data but because of text lag on their part ordered twice... charged $12 for 300mb... twice... price gouging company seriously use their customers in small dishonest ways to add big money to your bill... in the end the third manager promised me a new plan for my wife and I... 20gigs of data for $70... today I am cut off and my plan is unchanged (manager didnt complete it properly) and my wife is being charged $85... this isnt the first time they've made "errors" like this... they stall you, overcharge you and make it very difficult for you to reach an actual human rep... they should be charged for upping there fees in this crisis... they actually increased fees for extra data since it started... one of the worst Canadian companies I have ever dealt with... honestly feel they have no regard whatsoever for the humanity in their business... they are all about the money and it consistently shows and comes back on their customers... read the reviews... Do not use this company unless you like the experience of being sidetracked and rippedoff
