Blood not processed

I had separate orders from two different doctors. Both orders were drawn and only one set processed. The orders were for different things. I had to go to my local hospital and re-do the second set and pay a much higher hospital price. Lesson learned.

If you plan to go someplace where they meet you, help with your KIOSK because you are new or expect some for of dignity. Change labs. I have seen the face of a mature lady just wanting to check in but the person at the desk could not figure out which test tubes to use for her. She saw the line up and was getting nervous. The veteran of WWII who needed help, I helped him with the KIOSK and then told him I would ask the person at the desk,,, who quipped it not my job to get help for others...

They forget that all of us who go there are doing at the request of a medical provider and just want to find what is going on not really there to be berated buy a lab tech. I think if Kootenai Health providers would go there and be treated like this they may seek resoluition. I have called my providers and told them to change labs.

Poor communication
August 24, 2022

Lab corp closed the site in a Walgreen's where I had an appointment for a fasting blood test for over a month. I was never informed and didn't know until I walked into Walgreen's that day. I had to have the test in order to have a medical procedure. Could not get an appointment at their
Other sites near me. They left me in the lurch. Horrible communications. Will be switching to Quest.

Lobby is always empty when I come. This leaves the phlebotomist with idle hands. She hangs around the lobby, hovering here and there. I was checking in at the lobby kiosk today and she snached up my driver's license. I had both hands full just at that minute so she moved in front of me blocking the machine insisting that I take it immediately. I had to empty a hand and take it before she let me continue. At that point, the machine was in the process of timing out. I pointed out that it made things more difficult. They could not care less. They just asked each other how many licenses did we have last week that people left behind?

I've had the same condition for 12 years. It takes no more than 2 to 3 days Maximum to get my blood test results back. It's been 17 days and NO RESULTS from LabCorp. I keep writing them & the story changes, even lying to me repeatedly and my Doctor's office. What in the world in going on with LabCorp? I keep hearing TONS of complaints about them from others and my own Doctor's office. Get it together or get out of the business. Geez! Some of us have to make serious medication decisions based on our bloodwork!

Showed up on time for my 7AM appointment. Technician arrived at 7:10, did not say a word, went inside her office and closed the door. At 7:20 I knocked on the door, she came out and when I asked what was going on, she said she told her supervisor, she was going to be late.No respect for patients that have not eaten and have work schedules.
Labcorp has my phone number and email. Why was I not contacted?
Why did the technician walked by me and did not address the issue?
When I told her I could not wait and had to leave, she said sarcastically, Than You.
No respect for the patient!

Got billed for a lab that my insurance said was not covered due to not following medical guidelines. Have tried to call Lab Corp. for 3 months. They just keep refering me to the place where the test was ordered. When I call them, they say they do not do the billing. It has been a vicious cycle. Lab Corp. says, mam, I just trying to help you, but all they do is tell me to call the one who ordered the test. The cycle starts again. Beyond aggravating. Bill has been sent for collections. Still cannot get an answer from anyone involved and get harassing phone calls daily. They also sneak a waiver stating some labs may not be covered and get you to sign, but they don't get preapproval and give you the option of if you want to pay or not. Very deceiving!

Pierced vein
November 3, 2021

I went to lab Corp 2 weeks ago to get my blood drawn for an allergy test and the woman struggled to get my blood and I am VERY pale. The next day a had a nasty bruise going up my entire arm from the vein. I went to another doctor so get their opinion and I was told they peirced completely through my vein. Never going there again.

I have made appointments and it did not matter they took people in order without appointments. Then when I finally did not make an appointment they took people with appointments first like they are suppose to do. One person doing front desk and blood is STUPID.

Horrible!

Needed fasting labs after my annual physical which was as 4pm. Asked Labcorp receptionist what time they opened the following morning as I work in same building. His response was you can't come here for walk in, you must have labs done the same day as your appointment OR you need to go to different Labcorp facility! He was very rude, abrupt and uninformative... in response to any of my questions he told me to look online. Looked at alternate locations but could not contact anyone (during business hours) at any of them to verify hours and get estimate on amount of time I should allow. I do remember having to go to Labcorp for work related bloodwork on a different occasion and how incredibly long it took, so I did not take a chance. Drove over 20miles to go to Swedish Edmonds lab rather than going to ANY Labcorp facility. Labcorp gives a whole new meaning to the word HORRIBLE!

The lab Corp black female Technician located at the Care One Clinic on suite 400@ 2222 Greenhouse Rd, Houston Tx is an unpleasant, unprofessional, unproductive technician. She has no good core values that align with the Care One Clinic and the Core Values of the Lab Corp organization. She does not demonstrate good professional quality. She is arrogant, obnoxious, disrespectful, lazy, loud talk, she does not understand the difference between an office and home environment. She lacks good quality office etiquette. She is very insulting to customers. She encourages falsification of records. She is a serious negative negligence risk to the Care One Clinic and the Lab Corp organization. Went to sign up for covid antibody testing (i'm located in a metropolitan area - 3 miilion +). After registering and after they charge you $10 when I go to make an appointment, find out the antibody test is only at 1 location in the metropolitan area and the soonest available appointment was more than 6 weeks out. Of course the $10 they charge you is not refundable. Called customer service and was told I should know where the LabCorp locations are (there are multiple locations, however, only 1 does the antibody testing).

Horrible
November 14, 2018

Lab is very unprofessional. There was only two people in the office one behind the desk and one drawing blood. The person drawing blood was wearing street clothes with no lab coat which appeared unprofessional as well as not a sterile place to want your blood drawn. Since there was only one person to draw blood the waiting room was packed. After an hour wait etc I went to Sonora Quest Labs and was very pleased.

Horrible! I got a bruise on my arm. I had my arm sore for many days. I had to miss work because I was unable to raise my arm.
It was the second time visit with Labcorp, the both time I got a bruise on my arms

I was billed for services that I did not owe due to meeting deductible. I then received a letter stating that they didn't have an EOB for billing. I promptly called my insurance and sent them the EOB. My insurance told me they were billing with a code THAT WAS NOT proper, its called UPCODING "SCAM." I then received a COLLECTION NOTICE stating they would be turning my account over to collections is not paid. Steer Clear of this place, they are fraudulent. Who wants to join in a class action lawsuit?

I received a bill from LabCorp, which was not an issue until after the payment was sent they continued to say I was past due and now on the third physical bill from them the bill was a collection notice. If the payment is sent within 60 days of the first bill maybe you shouldn't start sending your clients to collections to get a whole $50. Sorry excuse for a legit corporation.

Absolutely disgustingly rude receptionist/collector. And when I pushed back, she threw me out! The most terrible lab I have ever been to. The most terrible business I have ever been to. Absolutely never go to this lab. I will now plan on going to quest.

Always sending us invoices that has been processed already through insurance and when called says the same thing over and over that i need to call insurance. I said i called insurance and they say it's processed but they says i need to ask insurance and provide the information. Insurance called them, doesn't answer and when i ask them if i can put my insurance on line, they say they cannot hold the line because they are very busy.
