LANDS END HAS GOOD QUALITY ITEMS, WONDERFUL SALES AND LOVELY CUSTOMER SERVICE. I AM PLEASED WITH THIS COMPANY AND HAVE HAD MANY PLEASANT SHOPPING EXPERIENCES.
I shop here often. They have great selection of men's jackets at the decent price. The customer service is always helpful and fast.
Love the merchandise and selection. Bought my daughter a dress that has been handed down' several times and still looks like new.
Excellent quality luggage. Great service and returns. Other than the price tag (a bit steep) a very good place to shop.
Order takes over a month to ship. For their high prices, I expect a better service, Won't buy here again.
Lands' End has the most competent, helpful, and polite customer service in the business -- a model for American companies.
Lands end charges almost $7.00 to return an item customer service is extremely poor and the website is worse.
I ordered an item on Sept 14,2023
A/O October 5, the item has NOT SHIPPED
Customer service seemed bothered by my inquiry and could not provide a reason for delay. I am going to cancel the order
I HAVE BEEN A LANDS END CUSTOMER FOR YEARS! IT ALWAYS WAS MY GO TO STORE! IT WILL NOT BE ANYMORE! I PROBABLY WILL SELECT LLBEAN. AT THIS MOMENT. THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE WORKING ON COMPLETEING MY RETURN! I SENT THEM A RECEiIPT WITH MY RETURN. THEY ARE TELLING ME THE SHIRTS ARE FROM A DIFFERENT ORDER. THE ITEMS I RETURNED CAME WITH THE SAME INVOICE THAT THEY WERE RETURNED WITH! I DID MAKE A
MISTAKE SENDING A SHIRT BACK WITH THE ORDER THAT I PAID ALOT MORE FOR THAN ANY SHIRT IN THE BOX. ALSO THERE WERE TWO SHIRTS LACKING WHEN I RECEIVED THE ORDER THAT I REQUESTED TEM TO BE SENT. ALL SHIRTS WERE MADE IN PERU! IF I EVER GET MY RETURN STRAIGHTENED OUT…… I MAY GIVE A MORE POSITIVE REVIEW.
I bought an 8 petite bathing suit last year and it fit perfect. So I bought another one this year. It was $28.00 plus $9.00 shipping. Well it was way too big and no I have not lost weight! I wanted to return it and the charge is $5.95. So the cost to try on the suit and return it because it was too big was $14.95. I ended up going to the ONE store in Dallas, TX and returning it at no cost. Turns out if you go into the store and order something there is also no S&H cost. But I won't ever order online with Land's End again. It is just too expensive to try on something. And their clothes do not run true to size so I never know what size I am at their store, so returning something is very likely. Love their product but shipping costs do matter.
I ordered my swimsuit a day before their 50% off memorial sale started, and when I called they refunded me 50% anyway. Very helpful.
My wife wouldn't 7 bathing suits and one of them didn't work out. They have a flat fee return anything. It makes sense to just return everything.
I have buying my men's clothes from them for many years and find them to be a great and easy resource. Always get what you buy and far prices.
Bought a beautiful bathing suit, my regular size 6. The suit arrived and it ran waaay too small. My gosh, this suit would have been tight on someone whose size was 2. So I want to know, what the hell sizing specifications are you using, European perhaps?! If this is the case, provide adequate disclosures to your online customers. Now I have to pay a fee to return this little slingshot. Thanks a whole bunch for nothing.
Lands End clothes are guaranteed period! I love visiting on the counter specially on Fridays! Clothes last long and often have great sales!
They rescinded a discount by charging my card $30 more 5 days later and did not contact me. I had to find out from PayPal.
Why do you have to receive merchandise credit, instead of getting your payment in the form you paid for the item
Don't order from them. It's been 4 weeks and I'm still waiting on a refund. It's criminal that a retailer does this to a customer.
Lands' End inserted an auto-opt in offer on their order form so when someone entered an order for more than $100, their name and address was automatically sold to Conde Nast Publications which then send a very raunchy GQ magazine out to the family. Without knowing (and unless you located the tiny pre-checked checkbox and unchecked it), tons of Lands' End customers were unwittingly subscribed to GQ magazine for a full year. GQ magazine is a raunchy magazine targeted to single men that is rife with sexy nearly fully nude female photo spreads and filled with articles about sex. There are so many things wrong about this, but here are a few:
1. Violation of good business practices - Why on earth would Lands' End "trick" their customers into allowing Lands' End to "sell" their name and address to anyone?
2. Wrong Demographic - Even if it was crystal clear to the customer that they needed to opt out of a pre-checked tiny check box on the shopping cart at checkout, why on earth would Lands' End promote a raunchy men's magazine to a conservative family clothing customer demographic that is shopping for classic, conservative, modest clothing?
3. Cat is Out of the Bag - Now that Lands' End has sold our name and address to GQ, I'm positive that GQ, like any good magazine publisher that knows the value of selling their list has already sold our name and address over and over again. And a huge problem with that is that suddenly everyone they've sold our name and address to puts our name and address into a bucket that thinks we are interested in smut. Now we need to be on the alert for every lingerie catalog, every pornographic magazine offer, every adult toy catalog, etc. to show up in our mailbox where anyone of our teens down to toddlers might innocently grab the mail.
I cannot believe how utterly stupid Lands' End was to pull this move!
Answer: They charged me shipping on my order. (I no longer patronize them because they charge for shipping returns, even if the product is deficient.)
Answer: Beware of Lands End's current "free" shipping scam. We get emails almost daily from Lands End offering discounts on certain items or even any item they carry and the have also been offering "free" shipping. Of course almost every online shopping site is offering free shipping right now. The difference between all other sites/sellers free shipping is that they will either give it to UPS, FedEX, or the USPS and those people make the actual delivery to your door in a few days. I'm assuming it is an effort to save money Lands End "free" ships packages via UPS BUT only to your closest major postal facility and drops all the "free" shipments there. It is then up to the USPS to sort everything and deliver the package to your home. This can result in a delay of from several days to a week or more. Our latest purchase was dropped at the sorting facility on 12/5. From there it needed to be sorted and delivered to the mail facility that handles home mail deliveries. Bottom line is that we didn't get the delivery until 12/9. That is after leaving the Lands End warehouse on! 2/2. I get shipments from LL Bean or Amazon purchases delivered in 2-3 days. The response we got after questioning Lands End was that if we want deliveries in 2-3 days we would have to pay for shipping. Considering the delivery times I get from other sellers offering free shipping, I think Lands End is misleading customer's expectations of "free" shipping. Come on Lands End, I want that big brown truck to bring my packages to my front door and want it to be REALLY free or you have lost a long time customer.
Answer: I don;t know about knit pants but I have had the Starfish for a couple of years now and they don't become baggy--just a little but they bounce right back after washing. I was very happy with mine, went to get a new pair and ended up with a pair I cannot wear. Dismayed to find that returns are too complicated (expensive, too) so will be getting out the sewing machine to make them fit (they are huge in the thigh). I think the problem lies with having ordered Tall. The old pants are just Regular. Be careful about sizing!
Answer: Several years ago i ordered 5 bridesmaid dresses from LE. I had to send two back for a different size. The replacement dresses were a slightly different shade of the color. Then had to send all 5 dtesses back to get all same color. What a mess!
