Love this company
Quality and service
And HONESTY
Not like www.gilt.com or www.borderfree.com: thieves!
Very reliable place to buy clothes. Helpful customer service and trustworthy brand. A brand that brings people to go visit and make purchase.
Good quality products and good customer service. Being able to take returns to Sears and not have to pay for return shipping is a plus.
I love Lands' End UK. I always order my winter coats and rain coats from there and it is always very quick delivery and the stuff lasts forever.
This is a great site for sunday play clothes and out door items. They really want to provide great items and customer service. Great for campers!
We received items so fast. They do have a really good deal on-line, even better with taxes and duties.
I love it, you can customize clothes pattern according to your own wishes. But shipping is too slowly sometimes!
Says one price, then you click on the item and it's much higher. Will never deal with them.
Customer service was Not helpful at all
We ordered a snowsuit for my son nine days ago. It's in stock but hasn't even shipped yet, and no one can seem to help.
I would be remiss for not following up my customer service experience with Land's End with a good review. I ordered a robe for my wife to give her for Christmas. It was about a week and a half before so getting it here shouldn't be a problem. I wasn't aware of it as the weather in my area had not been too bad but in the area where my order was coming from it was shutting down some shipping operations. By the time the package started moving the projected arrival date was a few days past the holiday. I got on the website and utilized the online chat customer service since I hate being on the phone. It was December 23rd so I figured I had better get back out there and find a replacement gift but was feeling pretty irritated and wanted to complain a little first. I explained the situation and how this was a gift for my beloved wife and Christmas was ruined, etc. I was expecting an apology and maybe a refund on my shipping and even offered to pay for an upgrade in shipping if that was possible enroute. The representative - Maria -, was very courteous and after hearing my complaint, asked me to wait for a moment and after a couple minutes replied that she was sending out a replacement order that would go out via overnight shipping and would be here in time, no extra charge, just the instructions that when the original order arrived after Christmas to refuse shipment or return to a Sears store. True to her word, the replacement order arrived the next day and all was well. I was very happy for the excellent customer service I received, they not only listened to my complaint but actually FIXED the problem. Many other times when dealing with other customer service departments from different stores in similar situations they have been quick to apologize for how this must make me feel, but rarely offer any solutions to solve the problem, just a discount on a future order or something like that, which often goes unused. I was blown away. I cannot say enough good things about this experience, it may not be typical but it was wonderful and great. I thank them, and my wife loved her gift!
Horrible company! Been waiting over 3 weeks for three pairs of pants they claimed were in stock. NEVER AGAIN-- USELESS COMPANY!
NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!
NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!
How are they NOT completely BANKRUPT AND Out OF BUSINESS? I placed order Dec 3rd for my Elderly husband for snow boots FOR WINTER! Looks like they won't be here until spring! Not only did he have nothing to open for Christmas, But after messaging with them 3 or more times, the STILL CANNOT give me ANY IDEA WHEN THE BOOTS WILL BE HERE! I'm praying he doesn't fall on the Oce and hurt himself. Customer service have OFFERED NOTHING FOR THE FACT THAT WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS. I've had to keep massaging asking where the boots are! They don't even say sorry!
Of course all
The stores are sold out of his size! They may not even FIT Him so we will still be without boots! I ordered 2 pair so we wouldn't get stuck without boots for him. Clearly they cannot afford to place orders without being sure EVERY SINGLE ITEM WILL BE SOLD! They take your order then have them made in Asia and hope they get here within a year! That's CRAP! They did this to me 2 years in a row with their shearling slippers they arrived after Christmas but they were for me so I didn't care! This is NOTHING NEW ITS NOT COVID ITS NOT ANYONES FAULT BUT THEIRS! I just ordered 100 items for my business from CHINA LAST WEEK! They came today! My shipping was only $12 for express! 1 weeks! And Lands end can't get boots for months! They just keep saying, "we don't even have them yet so we have NO IDEA WHEN THEY'll SHIP! Well I'm DONE IM TELLING EVERYONE THAT WILL
LISTEN NOT TO BOTHER WITH LANDS END! ( No matter how good their sales are!)
Date of experience: December 03,2022

THE WHITE ONE WAS NOT EVEN STIFF OR WRINKLED. I WORE IT A COUPLE OF TIMES WHILE I WAS TRYING TO GET THE PERMANENT WRINKLES OUT OF THE OTHER ONE TO NO AVAIL!
This was my first time shopping at Lands' End I went to the outlet in Madison to try on sizes of parkas and the maxi coat they didn't have a maxi coat available only online. So I found out my size I went home went on line and looked at the coats and pricing is different from the actual store to online. So my first purchase was five coats I like color so there were colors available, orange, magenta, bubblegum pink, royal blue etc. never expecting to pay more for different colors of the same coat. So to my disbelief I did place the order. But felt that somehow I would be able to get the price adjusted at some point within the timeframe. Went to the actual store and they had the same coats and different colors about $28 less each, so then I bought five more coats at the actual store. So for a first time buyer I would think 10 coats is quite the purchase. So I did go back to the store to check about price adjustments and they said it had to be done online so Monday I called and they said that they would submit my purchase for a price reduction or price review, and this would only b done once. I just called again and they said they don't do that and I said well yes you do because I talked to somebody on Monday and they told me to call today for the review of my account, so I talk to Megan in customer service and she kept going round and round about what offer I had received by signing up for emails and I just can't believe that I couldn't pin her down to actually why I couldn't get a price reduction. She wouldn't tell me what offers they had running right now she was depending on me telling her what I had received well I have received so many emails from Lands' End from being a first time shopper and buyer that I can't remember all the different codes shopping codes that you have to put in. It was a type of smoke and mirrors with the different prices and all the different offers floating around out in space. So I told her that I would be returning the five coats that I bought online and she said that was my decision. And I said with this being my first time experience of purchasing lands end products, and this crazy experience of all the different pricing all the different offers I would've thought Lands' End would've done something to keep this first time 10 coat fire as a customer. But she didn't care seem to care. She was just adamant about getting her point across as to the difference between ordering online and in-store and the different price ranges for the coats and the different prices for the colors and the sizing. All this matters to what price you're gonna pay for the coat. Crazy to me. I've been on this earth 60 years and I was born to shop, but guess what I won't be shopping at Lands' End anymore I want the real price the first time so I don't have to keep calling and running around trying to figure out what email or what offer is flying around in cyberspace.
They really want to provide great items and customer service. Great for campers!
I received a rather expensive 3-piece jacket from Land's End and financed it in 4 payments through Paypal. I love their products, but their sizes seem to run very big because I just drowned in the jacket. I just wanted to exchange it for a smaller size and keep my financing in place, but they cannot do that. If I wanted to do an exchange I have to wait up to 15 days for them to receive the return and then they either credit you for the cost, less $6.95 for shipping or they give you a merchandise credit. There is no guarantee that the jacket will still be available at that time. They were more than willing to send me a replacement jacket in a smaller size and waive the $6.95 shipping fee on the return, but I would have to pay for the new jacket in full through them and give that person my credit card info, rather than using PayPal and then wait to get refunded when they received the return. If I wanted to use the PayPal credit again, I would have to do it online where I would get charged my first payment immediately, in addition to the payment that I already made on the jacket I am returning and I would then have to pay the $6.95 shipping fee for the return. It is quite possible that I would even have to pay the second payment on the returned item also if it were to take the full 15 days for the return to be received and processed. I cannot afford to do that when I live on Social Security. Most companies would just send you the replacement item as soon as they got the tracking info that you had sent back the return and they would handle any accounting for the product internally, so I didn't have to make double payments or risk that the jacket might not be available in 15 days. Because all their winter jackets are on sale now and usually sell out fast, I decided to order a much cheaper jacket, instead of the jacket I wanted because I have to make PayPal payments on 2 jackets until they process my return. In addition, I now have to pay $6.95 in shipping for the return and $9.00 in shipping on the second jacket because it wasn't expensive enough to get free shipping. So now I am not going to get the jacket that I wanted, I am paying an extra $15.99 that I shouldn't have to pay and Land's End loses out on $140 from my original purchase. So who really benefits from this sale? Sure I got a jacket, but not the one I wanted and Land's End made a $39 sale, but not the $178 sale that I had originally made simply because they would not do an even exchange without me being charged me twice. The next time I need a jacket, I will shop around and buy it from another company since they are so distrustful of their customers.
LAND'S END IS VERY SIMILAR TO L. L. BEAN, BUT MORE AFFORDABLE. FROM THE QUALITY OF THE ITEMS THEY SELL TO THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY GOOD.
Great clothing, great discounts when they have sales!
Answer: They charged me shipping on my order. (I no longer patronize them because they charge for shipping returns, even if the product is deficient.)
Answer: Beware of Lands End's current "free" shipping scam. We get emails almost daily from Lands End offering discounts on certain items or even any item they carry and the have also been offering "free" shipping. Of course almost every online shopping site is offering free shipping right now. The difference between all other sites/sellers free shipping is that they will either give it to UPS, FedEX, or the USPS and those people make the actual delivery to your door in a few days. I'm assuming it is an effort to save money Lands End "free" ships packages via UPS BUT only to your closest major postal facility and drops all the "free" shipments there. It is then up to the USPS to sort everything and deliver the package to your home. This can result in a delay of from several days to a week or more. Our latest purchase was dropped at the sorting facility on 12/5. From there it needed to be sorted and delivered to the mail facility that handles home mail deliveries. Bottom line is that we didn't get the delivery until 12/9. That is after leaving the Lands End warehouse on! 2/2. I get shipments from LL Bean or Amazon purchases delivered in 2-3 days. The response we got after questioning Lands End was that if we want deliveries in 2-3 days we would have to pay for shipping. Considering the delivery times I get from other sellers offering free shipping, I think Lands End is misleading customer's expectations of "free" shipping. Come on Lands End, I want that big brown truck to bring my packages to my front door and want it to be REALLY free or you have lost a long time customer.
Answer: I don;t know about knit pants but I have had the Starfish for a couple of years now and they don't become baggy--just a little but they bounce right back after washing. I was very happy with mine, went to get a new pair and ended up with a pair I cannot wear. Dismayed to find that returns are too complicated (expensive, too) so will be getting out the sewing machine to make them fit (they are huge in the thigh). I think the problem lies with having ordered Tall. The old pants are just Regular. Be careful about sizing!
Answer: Several years ago i ordered 5 bridesmaid dresses from LE. I had to send two back for a different size. The replacement dresses were a slightly different shade of the color. Then had to send all 5 dtesses back to get all same color. What a mess!
