“Deceptive Advertising”

Was looking for a one-time mow, their website says they offer a one-time mow. Ask for a quote, they call me and tell me they require a minimum of a three-mow service. I say I'm not interested in that. They text me the next day saying they have an exclusive offer for $19.00 of the first mow, call or click the link. I click the link; it says they offer a one-time mow again. I text them back and they say they require a minimum of three mowing services. I say I'm not interested in deceptive advertising practices; your website says you offer one-time mows. They say thanks, let me know if you change your mind. Ridiculous, honestly.

Everything is unfriendly and not working. Too frustrating to deal with. NO COMMUNICATIONS FROM COMPANY.

Tip for consumers:
Choose a company that listens and calls back and ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

This is the most pitiful business I have experienced in a really long time. If I could provide a negative score I would have. Lawnstarter should not be in business if they are treating customers the way the treated me! The company sucks. The support sucks. I had no shows and then communication after the fact. Then rescheduled and then no show again, with support telling me they couldn't find anyone for lawn service. Just not reliable at all. Then after another reschedule rather than call me and tell me they couldn't find a provider they just cancelled my subscription after the date I was scheduled to have the service done. You can't reach a live person. Can't escalate the issue.

I communicated with a support person who vowed to right this terrible service experience. They agreed to two free mows and I'd give them another chance. Lo behold, they had a whole week and no one showed up. So, I got the infamous email with an apology and that they were cancelling my subscription. Make no mistake that's about numbers for them.

Lawnstarter should be really embarrassed. The inconvenience they cause for people who are relying on them is significant and the best they can do is cancel my subscription? It is pathetic! They should have the capability to proactively determine whether the can serve an area effectively or not. It should not take you 2 months to figure it out. I had 2 services requested and neither could be fulfilled. That's a huge problem!

Your rep asked me to give another chance after no shows and then a cancellation by you. I did give you a chance and you all failed again. So, based on my experience you have demonstrated they just fail to deliver service to customers more than they actually deliver. That is a sucky business. They should stop and close up shop.

Woeful is how I would describe my experience. You all should be out of business. Sad!

Thanks for nothing but pure inconvenience! Looking forward to posting this on social neighborhood, your website and wherever else I can let people know. WOEFUL!
