Lazada is always reliable thus I will give them 5 stars regardless which country. In Thailand companies are much more reliable. In The Philippines they try to scam you so watch out. Never do business with them outside Lazada
I usually buy my cat food, electronics, clothes and food stuff because they usually fulfilled their 48 hour delivery. However, my past orders are now at least 5 days overdue and when you track the order, they are sitting in their collection hub center and not moving at all. I called customer service but that was a very disappointing experience as they kept saying it would be out for delivery soon. I asked for a specific time frame but they could not offer any at all. This is Lazada's own logistic company and they can't fulfill their delivery at all. Truly disappointing to see this once great seller declining right before your eyes.
A lot of people like to post negative comments on a site like this coz theyre irritated. But when you feel happy about a site, you dont really put an effort to say something. At least that's what I think is happening here and why it has tons of bad reviews?
Well I've never had a bad experience aside from the tracker being very delayed to the point I was so worried about what happened to to of my orders. I was able to contact lazada people using fb and their customer chat thing, and okay naman.
I just have one item that doesnt work the way I wished it did. But that's okay. I was half expecting it not to work (an HDMI2AV converter) with all the problems people have gotten with this kind of product with other retailers as well for chromecast compatibility. So that's not lazada's fault. I just wish they sold the official one for chromecast in their stores.
To be fair, I've never tried returning stuff and asking for refunds, so I have nothing to say regarding that. But I just currently enjoy shopping there for now.
I made an order (#*******) back in December 6,2016 and I still haven't received my product. It has literally been more than a month since I've ordered. I usually order from this site using Cash on Delivery and I've had good experiences with that, but when I order a product using a credit card for the first time, the order never comes to me. Instead I get greeted with an email 28 DAYS AFTER I ORDER saying "Your order ******* has been fully delivered" even though I haven't received anything. I did not get an email, text, or call prior to this email telling me that they were even delivering my product. Now I keep getting emails asking me to review a product that I don't even have. The worst thing about this is that I wasn't even buying a product for myself, I was using my dad's credit card (with his permission of course) because we live in different countries and he wanted to get me something for Christmas. I feel like I've wasted his money because I was so trusting of this site. So if you ever order something from Lazada, make sure it's cash on delivery so the delivery service actually has some kind of motivation to deliver your product.

Got 14.000p worth in my inbox, 8 items in total that i need to order. Camera, vacume, motorcycle side boxes and few other things. But i cant complete order. Shipping fee is 9200p. They are imbeciles. I told support many times already and they are clueless what to do. I cant order even a pair of 75p sunglasses because they cost 1006p in shipping. The 2000p action camera costs 1600p in shipping.

Got my incomplete order from lazada last october for American Home Electric Oven and Rotisserie 18 liter AEO-18RTthru COD. Did sent it back, and order replacement, but the item is no longer available, I was asked to if im interested for replacement, so I ordered Transcend TS1TSJ25M3 1TB Portable Hard Drive (Green) as replacement. They gave me a new order #*******. It's already xmas and i still did not get my replacement. And to make the matter worst, the order number ******* is can no longer be viewed on their database. I ordered a video camera, it arrived 2 weeks after and IT DOESNT WORK. I spoke to countless customer service representatives and THEY ALL GIVE THE SAME GENERIC SCRIPTED RESPONSE.
They also refuse to give the phone to a supervisor stating that they have steps before a call will be given to one, they have to file an INCIDENT REPORT. Which to me is bullcrap.
They also said that because they have a lot of suppliers they dont have any record as to who the supplier of the said video camera is. They also told me that their warehouse in MUNTINLUPA has no telephone number, same with their BACK OFFICE, they told me they only communicate with the two via EMAIL.
I am formally filing a complaint with DTI soon.

Lazada has some very good qualities, problem is they lack control of their systems. I accept that occasionally things can go wrong. This is where stupidity takes over. The "so called" Customer Service personnel have NO
IDEA what your problem is and are not interested in understanding. They will pass on the greatest load of B***S**T about everything except the answer to your question. They have a "Track Your Order" system that in the main is a total lie; they do NOT TRACK orders. They list when ready
To ship. They list "Item out for delivery" END! Nothing then, till delivery
So if you want to know where your order is, they have NO IDEA. After 3 days of trying to locate my order and 3 days of emails telling me to use Track My Order and me telling them, that it does not work, I finally received an email telling me that due the Xmas rush, my order was still awaiting Pick Up in Manila but they have put a PRIORITY on it and I should receive it in 5 days, As I received this email the courier was at my door with my order in DAVAO! I could go on about the total lack of control they have over their suppliers and their postings, but that's another story. Too many Lies and deceptions... As you can see from Lazada's reply, they still cannot reply without the B***S**T! I stated that my order had been delivered, but still they want to know if its outstanding in their reply! I've discovered this site back in 2013, ordered my very first item which is a limited or hard to find copy of a ps3 game.It was my first time ordering online, it was easy and convenient. Time went on that i started using Lazada than any other shopping site in this country. But then i realized a few months later the change of their shipping policy, which is i did not understand at first until i almost ordered a USB extender which cost about 400php. When i saw the shipping fee, it was absolutly insane! 1000php+ worth of shipping just for a piece of wire and i thought it was mistake or a bug, but nope. It's real.
I could never recommend or shop here again and i believe there's a reason why Lazada changed their Shipping Policy, Only they know the reason on this sudden change and i know they'll say the same thing like "it depends on the seller's store cart" "depending on the minimum purchase" "depends on the seller" but no deep meaning behind this unfair change.
Don't fix if it ain't broke, i, d say.
Unless they find a way either reverse this shipping policy of theirs, but this new shipping policy is really anti-consumer, specially if you're living in the province.
UPDATE: It seems that this policy affects only for provincial regions (outside manila). If you are living outside of that, its doubles or even triples the shipping fee. Very anti-consumer people outside manila.

I was buying a 2nd hand Asus notebook from a Marvin De Guzman for Php5k. He wanted me to pay via GCash. It was my first time so I had no idea I should have paid COD or directly via Lazada. Anyway, he wouldn't send me the tracking number. So after 3 days, he asked for an additional 2K. He said that the price was incorrect. I wanted to make sure that he was legit so I asked for his FB account and address. He chatted me on FB and asked me to send via Cebuana Lhuilier to his "cousin" since he owed money to him. After sending the additinal 2K, he wouldn't reply and the listing was removed from Lazada. 10 days later, there was still no delivery! I just lost Php4,800.00. What a scam!
I contacted his "cousin" and found out that he was also a victim of Marvin. This is his gcash number: *******128. What a scammer!
