Lazada is always reliable thus I will give them 5 stars regardless which country. In Thailand companies are much more reliable. In The Philippines they try to scam you so watch out. Never do business with them outside Lazada
I usually buy my cat food, electronics, clothes and food stuff because they usually fulfilled their 48 hour delivery. However, my past orders are now at least 5 days overdue and when you track the order, they are sitting in their collection hub center and not moving at all. I called customer service but that was a very disappointing experience as they kept saying it would be out for delivery soon. I asked for a specific time frame but they could not offer any at all. This is Lazada's own logistic company and they can't fulfill their delivery at all. Truly disappointing to see this once great seller declining right before your eyes.
Im here in Australia and i made an order in Lazada for my son in Philippines. I Ordered the mini electric scooter bike for my son. #******* and LAZADA declined it. The payment i used is my Visa Debit Card and i called my bank and they said LAZADA deducted it. I emailed LAZADA and they said my money is in FLOATING SYSTEM... Now, i checked again my account but still the money they took still not on my account. IT'S BEEN TWO DAYS NOW! When you will return my money? You're trying to ripped off the money of your customer...! Very BAD SERVICE!

So I bought ta hair straightner at lazada that was on sale. The shipping was great itI received the item earlier than I expected. But the problem is the items has so many issues so I returned it and asked for refund then after 5 days I received a call from lazada saying that my refund was already complete and ask me if I want a bank credit or lbc receipt. I told them lbc receipt they said that after 24 to 48 hours I will received a tracking # for my refund. And NOW IT'S $#*!ING 5 DAYS SINCE THE CALL AND STILL NO EMAIL WITH MY TRACKING #. I NEED MY TRACKING NUMBER!

I have ordered many items through Lazada and was very satisfied with the service, but lately Ninja Van has delayed my items three times, before Ninja Van tracking would have my item in Cauayan City one day the next it would be delivered, but the last three times the items seem to get lost in transit, or be stuck in Cauayan City for one week, if you ask them for an address in Cauayan City the say Ninja Van does not like people collecting items from their hub (very strange). I have asked Lazada not to use Ninja Van for my deliveries but Lazada continues to use them, so i am no longer going to buy goods from Lazada to much headache.

I am used to the freedom of speech when reviewing things on Amazon. So when I started purchasing stuff off of lazada, I was somehow expecting the same level of freedom when it comes to expressing appreciation or disapproval of a product. But boy I was wrong.
My review of a particular product was tagged as abusive even though it wasn't even remotely negative. If at all it, it was more of a passive positive neutral. That was the only thing I could think of. And it was not even as harsh as some of my other reviews considering I could not decide whether the item I bought was fake or not. There are some really dumb people in lazada that evaluate reviews.
Update: It took me a while to read the response of a Lazada representative. He/she said that it was not Lazada that evaluates the reviews but rather the sellers themselves. This is the biggest piece of crap I have ever heard in online retails.
Why would Lazada even allow this? Of course the sellers themselves would only want to hear good things about themselves, wouldn't they?
This is so disappointing.
Lazada should seriously change this policy. It's just pure laziness on their part.

Do you have a problem with using prepaid visa card as payment for international sellers who only accepts online payment? You've accepted my order which automatically deducts the amount from my card balance only for you to email me that you were "unable to process" my payment thats why my order is now cancelled. Can you check how you card payment system works especially for visa prepaid cards! Coz its such a hassle to wait weeks to months just for my money to be returned to my account for which in the 1st place you have no reason to not accept it. I made sure all my card details were correct and the fund is more than enough. I ordered something from Lazada. I thought this site is scam or something because when you order something, there's a lack for security. They won't even know if that person is real or stuff. So I purchased a phone but they didn't ask for anyting. Just the address. How come they can go to "cash on delivery" to a very far away land. So I tried cancelling my order because I wasn't so sure about Lazada but they said that it's already on shipping. That sucks because I don't live there anymore. How will they get the payment if the person who ordered their doesn't live in the address he/she stated the time they ordered something. I SENT AN EMAIL ABOUT CANCELLING MY ORDER 5 MINUTES AFTER ORDERED THAT PHONE. WHY IS IT ON SHIPPING ALREADY?
I have used Lazada twice. Never again. The first item was 2 packages of hearing aid batteries. They sent a different size than I had ordered. When I tried to return them, Lazada claimed that was the size I ordered. They attached a copy of the order form showing the size I ordered to be the size that was sent. I keep photos of all my online transactions, so I sent them my copy showing I had ordered the size that I claimed to have ordered. I was told that the vendor claimed that I had altered the order form before I sent them the copy, which is absolutely not true. I needed hearing aid batteries. Why would I lie? I just wanted to exchange them, not get a refund. Lazada said it was out of their hands.
The second time was for a motorcycle helmet. They sent the wrong size and color. They couldn't dispute me this time because I opened the box at the LBC office in front of witnesses. It was a COD order and I had to pay before they would let me check to see if it was a correct order. I was done with them. I wanted a refund. LBC told me I had to go through the refund process with Lazada. Now, over 2 weeks and countless emails later, my refund has finally been authorized. Very stressful and Lazada got to use my money while they did nothing but stall, taking 3-4 days for a process that could have been completed in 30 seconds. Unless you enjoy stress and frustration, stay away from Lazada.

I ordered quite a lot of furniture from Lazada.
I got all the usual informatory emails, the follow-up phone call and it was all looking pretty good until I checked the LBC tracking site to see that delivery had failed!
I immediately emailed lazada and in fairness they got back to me pretty quickly only to tell me that LBC refused to deliver to my address which is literally only 15 minutes from their warehouse because it was outside of their delivery area.
What a joke! Lazada promise delivery right to your door as does LBC - both making such promises on their websites.
To add insult to injury, both Lazada & LBC asked me and expected me to organise the collection of my order from their depot - what a joke!
I have since looked at all the complaints regarding both companies and realise I was luckier than most people.
Why am I luckier? Because I ordered 60k worth of furniture that they sent from Manila and it was CoD... so no "cash-out" from me.
I've since informed Lazada that the order is cancelled and they can arrange to have all their crap shipped back to Manila as I am not going to collect it!

My issue goes like this, I order a speaker 1 item but my BDO debit card has no exp. Date on it, i just continue, it appears on "my orders" the question is how did it happen it should be invalid caus i didnt fill up the exp. I've ordered many times from Lazada but the most recent was on Feb. 28 and one of the items I ordered was a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 16 GB Smartphone. I liked the product but on its internet connectivity, I was disappointed that I can't connect to our landline internet at home since it only has wlan settings. So, on March 5, I filled out an online return form(received the item on March 4) and since its a Sunday, I returned the item through LBC for a refund the following day, March 6, which was Monday. Till now, I'm waiting for an e-mail from Lazada for my remittance number so I can get my refund.

Just sharing in 3 of my purchases in last Lazada Bday sale. There are bogus sellers trying to con buyers, 2 of the 3 bogus sellers were confirmed by Lazada Customer service specialist to be bogus BUT what they cannot explain is why the items I ordered have updates in Lazada tracking system. Lazada tracking said that on specific date my orders left HK, the arrived in Philippine, then cleared Philippine Customs, then transferred to Manila sorting, etc. Meaning an item is moving thru different stages of delivery and the item's barcode is being scanned by a barcode reader to update Lazada tracking system OR an insider is updating Lazada system to look like the items ordered are passing thru different stages of being delivered. Then at the last stage of delivery, there will be an update that "multiple delivery attempts have failed " and your items are being returned to shipper when in fact no attempt of delivery was done.
These incidents were confirmed by Lazada customer service specialist, they accept that they cannot find the items being delivered and that the sellers and their items are all no longer active in their website (example Drastic Waters).
My suggestion: if you have not yet built trust on a seller, and you really want the item he is offering, do not pay in advance, chose COD. It will be hard to get back your money...

We're sorry to hear about what happened, Jannine. Please be informed that the amount may remain floating usually has time frame within 5-15 banking days. However, some banks may take up to 45 days especially if card used is a debit card and/or not issued in the Philippines. This is a policy imposed by the bank and not by us or the merchant. The deducted amount from the debit card was not collected by Lazada. It remains in authorization status that's why the amount appears to have been taken out of the card. But again, since it was rejected by CYBS, we did not collect the payment. The money will be reversed automatically when the issuing bank's authorization expires.
