My lenses were scratched on a pair of Willaim Painter sunglasses (who don't offer replacement lenses). Lensabl sent them back with new lenses looking better than new.

I ordered 3 pairs of glasses. My sunglasses are great. My two other are extremely thick lenses even though I selected all the high index thin options.
I ordered them when they were having a 20% off coupon and sent my glasses in. The estimates for turnaround are pretty optimistic. I got mine back 4 weeks after sending them in. I think they specify 7-10 business days for processing. Keep in mind 10 business days is two weeks.
When I received my glasses the frame looked warped and one of the lenses stuck out in a funny way. Also, the ear piece on one side was obviously bent. After I looked at it for a bit, I realized that the lens was not seated in the frame correctly, pushing out the top of the frame (warping it), and pointing the earpiece in a different direction as a result. I used a small screwdriver to loosen the frame and pop the lens back in the frame. The glasses returned to normal with no residual damage.
I also noticed a very faint, small scratch at the bottom of the brand new lens. My conclusion is that some one professional does the lens, and then some one with little to no training has some tools and a short amount of time to insert the lens into the frames before they're shipped out. I don't know how else to explain the half-seated lens and twisted frame I received in the mail.
The lenses themselves are fine. The anti-reflective coating is not as good as coating I've had on glasses from optical shops including Walmart, for what it's worth. But it was also cheaper to send in to Lensabl.
This is the second time I've ordered glasses through Lensabl. The quality is very good. I am wondering why there are dots on my lenses this time.

Perfect, my second time sending out my glasses to them… I had mistakenly ordered lenses with my old prescription. So I'm sending them back out… like I said MY mistake. This company makes everything easy and seamless…I definitely recommend them. Super quick getting my glasses back.

I received my Order # *******-REDO on Friday the 6th. Thank you. Unfortunately, I do not have good news.
The left lens is gives me blurred distance vision. The reading portion of the lens is OK. The right lens is OK in both reading and distance vision. Additionally, the cutting of the lenses to fit into the frame is not high quality fit and finish. I cannot wear them. I am confused why we are having so much difficulty with these lenses. On the 3 or 4 previous prescription lenses that you have made for me, I have had no problem.
Here is my spin on the situation. These frames have been in your lab for almost 2 months total. Delay after delay. I know that they are complicated lenses but you told me that you could complete them. I am loosing confidence in your ability to complete these lenses. My preference would be to send the lenses back to you and get a refund. Although if you want to take one more attempt to get it right, I would agree. However if you want one more try I will ask you to live up to your advertising of "lens production is about 4-7 business days." I leave the decision to you. After this we will part ways as friends.
For what it is worth, I did take the lenses and frames to a local optical shop on Friday and asked them to take a look. They checked the measurements and their comment was that if the lenses were theirs, they would send them back to the lab.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
