I liked the prompt response to my inquiry. I think when there are delays it would help to have an estimate on the time window to complete my order. The message I got about my lens' having to be remade was vague, and I had to ask for the updates. Otherwise, I am completely satisfied with the product that was sent to me.
This was my first time ordering lenses for a pair of glasses, online. The overall process was straightforward and simple- upload your Rx with a few specifications and send your glasses. I didn't know a few of the specs that were required, but Lensabl made it super easy by having me take a picture with a card under my nose (so they can take measurements). They mailed my glasses back and it was that easy. I've also never had transition lenses, so that was a nice addition.
This is my first experience purchase lens online and Lensabl was excellent! The price was much better than anywhere around and the customer service was top notch. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering purchasing their lens online.
I sent 2 pairs of my own glasses with prescriptions to be filled. I never received an email stating they were sending them back and I had to send a few follow up emails. Once I received them, 1 pair was fine, the other was not. It had the lenses outside of the rims and I couldn't move the nose guards. I asked for a remake. After many emails and threatening to call my credit card company, I had a nice customer person reach out stating they were asking the lab. After asking for follow ups via email, over and over, I got another person who said the same thing. At this point, I was very frustrated. The second customer service rep gave me details that the glasses didn't pass and needed to be looked at again. They stated they would expedite. I finally received my glasses last week again, without an email notification, and am very happy with the glasses but not with the response time. I understand we are all busy and shorthanded. I get it. However, the response time is crucial in today's world, not stating on your website that the client shouldn't email as that will take time away from getting people's orders ready.
Decades ago there existed a pink lens called "pilot's lenses", which eliminated the glare of the sun on a whirling prop of a single-engine light plane. That was only the beginning. I lived in the Puget Sound, which is rainy and foggy much of the time. Oh. My magic pink lenses cut thru fog, thru the spray thrown up by cars on the freeway, and in good weather, cut thru any mist at a distance. Impossible to get those lenses any more. Oh! But pink lenses are manufactured for ready-made sunglasses. Then I stumbled upon Lensabl. Omigod! I have my wonderful prescription pink lenses, and they're perfect. My eyes are terribly light-sensitive, which is the core of my problem. Now: problem solved! Oh thank you Lensabl
It took a full month for me to get my Stoggles glasses re-lensed, but the lenses seem to be good quality. (There was an issue with mine so they had to redo something -- according to an email update I got. And I did request antifog which they say can take extra time.) I got a lens cleaning kit and a case when they returned the glasses, and they gave me the original lenses back as I requested, which I appreciated. Overall it was a positive experience, but I wish they had been faster.
I'm really happy with the finished product. I have a couple of suggestions to make your service better. A couple of email updates from you to let me know when you received the frames I sent (so I know they weren't lost in the mail.) and possibly another message updating me on the progress of the order before they are sent back to me would be helpful. Also, the presentation of the frames when they return is good, but there is some cardboard dust in the box that should be removed prior to shipping. I will definitely continue to use Lensabl, good service and the prices are what makes it very attractive.
I tried cancelling this order when I was told there was a chance my frames could break. After someone finally got back with me, they kept asking and I kept saying yes. When they went to process the cancellation, I got a shipping email less than an hour before I got the customer service email saying it was too late to cancel. Then my glasses came in and I can't see, but I know my prescription is correct. Found out I could have saved about $60 in all this if I just bought all new glasses.

I sent my glasses away to get lenses.It took over two months to get them back. I asked to be compensated as I am a first responder on the frontlines DURING covid and had to spend additional money on other glasses because they took an insane amount of time. They refused to even acknowledge they messed up. I finally received my glasses and everything is distorted, so I reached out again to them telling them and they refuse to answer my emails and phone calls. I will NEVER use this company again and will tell everyone to avoid them. Horrible, horrible customer services and horrible treatment to the people on the front lines risking their lives everyday to help people.
I have used Lensabl about 10 times (I just put another pair of frames in the mail to them today) and I have only good things to say about them. I have used them for clear and sunglass lenses and everything has been perfect. The process could not be easier and the turnaround time is faster than you would think. I am thrilled to have found Lensabl.
I sent in two pairs of frames for new lenses. I was very careful to put the proper frame into the mailer with the lenses I wanted in each. First of all, the lab mixed the frames and put the wrong lenses in both frames. Then they broke one of my frames. They did replace the frame, but that added another month to the order. On another order, the lab changed the Rx from the opthomologist and returned a set of glasses that are unusable, following an additional delay due to "quality control". The lab also bent the nosepieces to an angle that no longer fits my face. Alex in customer service promised a 30% promo code to redo the lenses but even after 4 email requests, has failed to send me the promo code. I can only assume that Lensabl does not want to do any further business with me. I had no such problem a few yers ago the first time I used Lensabl. I am unsure what happened to your service over the past few years, but it has obviously declined in quality and customer service. I am very disappointed that I am no longer able to rely on your services.
The overall experience with Lensabl was amazing from start to finish. Customer service was excellent and responsive. Lensabl was able to give my old frames a new life. Sending my glasses was easy, and it took about 2 weeks. This is on par with many local shops in my area. I would recommend Lensabl for those seeking to revive their old frames with a new prescription especially for those who have need for high index prisms and strong diopters.
The lenses are really good in terms of clarity. The only minor issue I do have is with the rolling process. The left and right lens rolling was different. It is not easy to see for others, and it does not compromise the lenses in any way, but aesthetically it would be nice if the rolling and polishing was exactly the same. The user inspecting the glasses can see it when the glasses lie on a table, but it is not seen in photos and such when wearing them.
This service was really impressive! I received frames from a different service and sent the frames to Lensabl because that other service couldn't make my strong lens prescription. Lensabl sent me a box fairly quick, let me know about the process when it got to the facility and what was going on, and it was trackable vía postal service. I'm extremely pleased with their work. Great and easy to use service. I got a holiday discount deal and used it on a pair of fabulous frames that I owned and wanted to convert to prescription glasses. Lensabl made it quick and easy to add my new prescription, and get new prescription glasses. The bonus is that I was able to use fsa funds.

Glasses are great but all my Wife's Glasses are "No-Line Bifocals" and when I ordered I thought the ones I ordered for her would be "No-Line Bifocal"!
However they are not and I suspect the other pair you have you will be making them with a "LINE" in them? Please if you can, make them "NO-LINE BIFOCAL'S"?
She loves them cause they are her Favorite frames but hard for her with the Line in the middle. She really does not need the bottom half much so the line really screw her up.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
