I was initially put off by the price but being able to put new lenses into an older pair of my favorite frames ever was too appealing to ignore. I researched and compared the service to other similar services and Lensabl was the cheapest for the bare minimum lens order. I loved the ease to order, how quick and smooth the process felt, and even the update email sent to me to inform me about a delay (even though I wasn't suspicious of a delay at all, it seemed like a reasonable amount of time to me) was appreciated. Having gotten my glasses back with new lenses it looks and works great so I'm extremely satisfied with the service and will be using it again when I get a new prescription!
I ordered a pair of glasses online, frames and lenses from another company. When I got them, I could tell there was something wrong with the lenses because I couldn't see through them correctly. I tried to contact that company but the customer service was horrible. There was a big communication/language gap and they wanted me to jump through hoops to prove they had made a mistake and that the lenses weren't correct. Needless to say, I stopped bothering with that company and luckily found Lensabl while searching online.
I couldn't be more thrilled with the whole experience! It's so easy and customer friendly from start to finish. The email updates and communication are top notch. I even got a notification that through their quality control inspections they found something wrong with my lenses and were starting on making another pair. After my experience with the company I got them from, I was so happy and impressed to find out that Lensabl caught an issue and fixed it themselves! I appreciate their quality control and communication SO much, especially after what I went through with that other company. I will gladly order from them again, tell everyone how amazing they are and plan on sending another pair of glasses to them this week!
This company screwed up my lenses two times and now wants to offer the lenses be remade a third time and have me pay for the mounting at a local optician. I pretty much got scammed. I'll be taking my business to other lens replacement services like lensdirect for any future orders.
Objects viewed through the left lens are not as sharp as through the right lens.
The brown tint does not enhance certain colors, i. E. red, green, yellow, like the original lenses did. These just color things brown like the cheap drug store sunglasses.

I had an expensive frame that I loved and and an out of date prescription for my sunglasses. Lensabl was able to change the lenses without any damage whatsover to the frame. My prescription appears to be perfectly accurate. Even with the additional upgrades to the lenses, the cost was less than half of what my doctor's office would charge me.
You guys nailed it! You put the new prescription lenses in my new seashell frames - I can see better out of these glasses than I can with my regular ones! I can hardly wait to show off my new sunglasses outdoors - and be able to see clearly! Thank you so much - great job!
I've used VSP and had some bad experiences with their labs, with lenses not centered properly and bending frames way too wide. I bought wood frames that VSP would not work with at all - and am I glad, these lenses are spot on! With variable lenses that is huge! Also love the transition lenses and how they work well in the car! Great job!

The lenses took too long to make, apparently there was a quality control issue, so they had to remake my lenses. My frames are completely scratched up, which I wouldn't mind, but they actually damaged the frame while putting in the lenses with a deep scratch. I've never had a frame scratched before like this. Also, these are the thickest 'thin' lenses I've had in 10 years with the same prescription.
The only thing good about the whole experience was the initial step of measuring / submitting my prescription.
Will not be using them again.
I didn't have really high expectations because I've replaced lenses before from another company and they were "so-so". When I put on my new progressive lens sunglasses, they were perfect! I am very satisfied, plus they sent me a nice new case and lens cleaner, nice touch.
All went well in ordering. It took a very long time. I was expecting it take 1-2 weeks but it took almost 2 months.
Wonderful from beginning to end. Just got my glasses and they are just great so much so I am sending a second pair to be done! THank you!
The blue light filter lenses are legit blue lenses. When you look at them they are not clear at all, they look deep blue and then when you put them on everything looks yellow. Really terrible.

Third pair of glasses from lensabl and satisfied with them all. The last pair took a little longer than the others because they got rejected during final inspection and so they had to redo them. Didn't mind the additional wait to glasses that are to their high standards. Good job Lensabl.
I always heard that they worked on a 2 week schedule to fulfill your order and they did just that. I'm a big believer in customer service and they did what they said they would do. Delivered my glasses on time and I really do like my new glasses. I came out of pocket for them without insurance, so it means something when I get what I expect to be paying for.
After waiting for over six weeks, I can't believe this has happened. I just received a parcel from Lensabl thinking it was going to be my new glasses with new frames and new lenses. What they did is returned to me my broken frames that they broke with new lenses but without the new frames. What is going on? Where are the new frames they promised me? The eyeglasses they just sent to me I cannot wear because the frames are broken. Why did they send me new lenses with the old broken frames?

Worst online shopping experience I've ever had. And I shop online almost every day. Their customer service is almost nonexistent. Don't bother phoning them. They'll never return your call. They won't answer your questions. They always refer to the lab. I asked to speak to a supervisor and I got no response. You will regret doing business with these people. And throughout the whole process they never took responsibility to prioritize my order even though it was taking weeks and weeks and weeks.
Sent two frames in - came back to me a lot quicker than I expected. One of the frames would just fall off my face. They took it upon themselves to tighten the frames and they fit like a glove. Was expecting to have to take them somewhere after the fact so I was pleasantly surprised. They were both perfect.
Appreciated getting an email notifying me there was a delay because of quality control. Glasses arrived today in a lovely white case as opposed to the traditional boring black! Will definitely be back!

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
