Lensabl has garnered a reputation for providing high-quality lenses and a convenient service for replacing lenses in existing frames, with many customers expressing satisfaction with the product quality and the speed of delivery. However, concerns have been raised regarding customer service responsiveness, particularly during issue resolution, as well as occasional discrepancies in prescription accuracy. While many customers appreciate the transparency and communication throughout the process, there are notable frustrations related to the handling of returns and remakes. Overall, Lensabl is viewed positively, though improvements in customer support could enhance the overall experience.

This is my second time ordering lenses. Seamless, smooth transaction. Lensabl is top notch. Will definitely be using this service in the future.
Very good experience the lenses fit perfectly costumers service is very good I will do business whit you guys at any point thank you very much for your help
I sent my frames almost 2 months ago. They keep telling me 2-3 days. Then suddenly my lens "failed inspection" and the wait time grew to 5 days. I have been told since May 10th it will be 2-3 days but they still have done nothing. They have no phone number listed on their site so only one person Jayme will respond by email usually 48 -72 hours later. I have canceled my order 10 times but they will not send me my frames back or refund my money. I believe they broke my frames and are just hoping the can stall me long enough to make me give up. I'm not giving up. They are telling me the can't refund my money but they aren't sending me my lenses are my frames that I sent by overnight mail.
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SANITY AND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! SCAMMERS!
Hello, I purchased lenses for my safety goggles from Canada. I read the website which advertises free shipping. I was then charged 35USD$ for shipping. On top of that I was then asked to pay for shipping to your company. When I inquired about this, I was rudely told that I didn't read the fine print. I suggested that when a Canadian resident enters their address a disclaimer should pop up to inform about extra shipping costs. I was informed by the customer service rep that this did exist but that upon further investigation it had been malfunctioning and turned off when I made my purchase. There was never any apologies or even an offer of a discount code on a future purchase. I ended up paying more in shipping costs than I did for the lenses. In addition I sent my glasses in a protective case that I trusted to protect my lenses which was not returned to me. I understand that may be my fault for choosing to ship my glasses to your company in the package I received them in, but I was met with rude customer service rep again who told me I shouldn't have sent in any cases I didn't want back. I am not impressed with the quality of cases that my glasses were returned to me in. I have waited a few weeks to try out my lenses before writing this. The lenses are adequate with no major concerns. I will not be returning to your company as I have found alternatives. I realize you are a smaller growing business so it pains me to write such a negative review but I truly was not happy with how the customer service agents approached my concerns and lack of any sort of reimbursement offer or compensation.
The frames were mailed December 28th to the company. It took 6 weeks before they were finally shipped back-to the wrong address. Very frustrating experience.
Usually I wear my recent Progressive lenses from my optometrist, and I attach clip-on sunglasses for outdoor wear. But I found that walking or hiking on uneven surfaces was difficult because looking down at the ground, I was seeing through the reading part of my lenses which distorted the ground and made it hard to maneuver without tripping, or I'd have to drop my head to see the ground clearly through the top of my lenses. Another problem I had using clip-on sunglasses were lots of reflections that would obliterate a clear view. So I ordered from Lensabl single vision lenses (for distance only) with the highest grade of Transition sunglass tint and provided an older frame of mine. I'm very happy with what I received from Lensable. They solved both of those problems. I can even drive with my new glasses on, since I can easily see the odometer on my dashboard, even if it is a bit fuzzy. My only issue with the Lensabl Transition lenses is that the sunglasses don't get as dark as I would like. They do get very clear indoors, which is an improvement over transition lenses I had many years ago. But I can always use my clip-on sunglasses if I need them to be very dark, like when walking the beach on a sunny summer day. Also before I ordered my new glasses from Lensabl I checked with my optometrist to see what he would charge for the same thing. They came in about $100 more than Lensabl. The only reason I gave my new glasses 4 stars instead of 5, was that I wish the Transition lenses got a bit darker. I will recommend this company to friends. Great experience. Thank you, Lensabl.
Thanks to Jayme in customer services, I was kept up to date. It took longer due to me, pd (pdi distance) wasn't marked. I live my glasses. *******@kiva. Brent for sharing this company.
I couldn't be any happier with the results. They took longer than expected (4weeks) but they came out perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.
The lense look and feel great. They have abit of a fish bowl effect, but just low enough not to reject them completly. "If" ther is a next time, if lensables needs additional information. It would be great if lensables let the customer know immedietly through email that they need "said info". I didnt know lensables needed the center of the eye dimensions according to the lens fit. I had to log in to their website and make an account to see what was taking so long. Hello and behold, they needed info. They allredy had the customers information when you buy the lense and add the prescription. It took a total of two weeks. Add the week for the glasses frame to begin with. It equals an unexpected length of time.
This is why I go to same day glasses offices. But they dont do lenses for outside glasses frame that isnt theirs.
2 weeks into the order, the status said it is ready to ship, then didn't ship b/c it didnt pss QA. They said I would get it by Nov 7. Now it's pass that date. Now they don't even know when it done.
My "go to" Eyewear store. Whenever I need lenses, I order them thru lensabl. Easy, fast, and most importantly, correct
Thank you for making Lensabl your "go-to" eyewear store! We're thrilled to hear that you find our service easy, fast, and accurate. Your continued trust and satisfaction mean a lot to us. We look forward to serving you again whenever you need new lenses.
After 4 attempts to make contact with this hack, unreputable clownshow known as Lensabl, starting with my first email immediately upon receiving my order, they've gone AWOL and are ignoring me. The prescription lenses sent are absolutely unacceptable and I WANT A FULL REFUND IMMEDIATELY! After researching them with the BBB, I've found this is common practice and I dare them to prove me wrong. How a company like BOSE established a relationship with Lensabl is beyond me. Pass this message on with the hope that we can resolve this situation and I can put them in my rear view mirror.
My lenses are perfect. No issues at all. It just took about a week longer than I expected. Needless to say, I will order again from Lensabl.
Took over a month for the entire transaction, and the communication was sub-par. There's clearly a ticketing system being used (ZenDesk I think), but the tickets were not updated in a timely manner--I got autogenerated messages after I'd already received the glasses telling me about the delay that I should have been informed about weeks prior. I didn't even find out about the delay until I emailed your Customer Service department myself, and even then it took them a week to find out what the delay was. The lenses I actually received aren't great quality, and I'm not even very happy with the product I received. I'm probably going to have to take them to my eye doctor to evaluate to determine if it's the lenses causing problems or the frames.
I don't think I'd use your service again. It was theoretically convenient and low cost, but I don't think it was worth it in the end. Sorry--I wanted to use you for another few sets of frames I have, but I think I'll go with another vendor or just take them to my eye doctor.
I got a new glasses prescription in 2021 for the first time in years. I took the opportunity to buy a new pair of Bose Tempo frames for running and Lensabl is the official partner of Bose for prescription running glasses. The frames are amazing and are great to run in. If you are a runner that listens to music or guided runs, they are worth the expense.
The only glitch was that one of the lenses was not the correct prescription when originally shipped. It took several emails to finally arrange a phone conversation with someone to get an explanation of the situation. Once we got through that hurdle, everything got worked out. The glasses were shipped back to Lensabl, corrected, and shipped back with the right prescription.
The quality of their work is good. And the staff is very good as well, it is just a little clunky having to go through their email system to communicate and there being some delays in communication. They told me they are working on a phone number which would solve my issue completely.
Just to prove this wasn't a dealbreaker, I'm having them replace the lenses in other frames, so you should give them a try.
Dealt 3 times in less than 9months and each one was not a pleasant experience. 1st one - lens cracked in 5months, shipping of glasses took more than a month. 2nd one - Site had no updates. Had to reach out to customer support multiple times and none of the committed dates were met. Took more than 6wks. 3rd one - Glasses came back with one of the nose pads missing. I believe they have just 2 customer reps - Tony and Shavelle and their manager Rudy Widjaja. Dealt with each and all of them way below par.
NOTE: Lensbl conveniently posted "Lensabl attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond" which is absolutely not true. This is what the email was which had no mention of a resolution - "Once again, we apologize for the distress and inconvenience caused. We are committed to using this feedback to improve our service standards and ensure a much more positive experience for all our customers in the future."

I've had 6 pair of eyeglasses done with you. First three - no problem. In fact, so very pleased with the results that I decided to send three new frames. In early December I spoke with someone@ Lensabl to arrange for a box for all three, placed the order online and $500+ was charged to my cc immediately.
I understand the order was placed during the Christmas season and it is the time of COVID, but it took weeks to receive the empty box and although I return shipped the same day, it was several weeks before you received. Fortunately the shipment wasn't lost, but seriously, rethink using the USPS.
The three completed pair of glasses arrived on January 28 - nearly 2 months after initial order! That said... two pair are prescription sunglasses and they seem fine. The third, a pair of Judith Lieber frames, is not. I upgraded the order for thinner lenses (Lens Options: 167 + Standard AR), which I should think would NOT have lens edges prominently visible! Looks like lenses were not properly fit into the frame. I've checked against the other pairs you have completed and NONE show this much of a whitish lens edge! Please have someone contact me asap.
So happy Goodr was able to offer sunglasses for my pre teen thru Lensabl. They are comfortable, cute and stylish.
I have used a previous company in the past and that service was excellent. Apparently something happened with that company so I was happy to see that Lensabl was available. I suppose the time of year and the pandemic had a huge effect on my experience. I ordered my glasses in early December and finally received them on Feb 10... So a little over 2 months for what I was expecting to be a few weeks at most. Along the way, my original glasses were broken in the lab. Lensabl ordered the exact replacement. As a young company and during a global pandemic, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I was a little disappointed that when I finally received my glasses, the bridge was twisted and the left temple was not attached tightly - it was loose by about 2mm which with glasses is very noticeable. The lenses did look great. I am hoping that it had all of the coatings that I ordered on it. I expect that if you give them a try, you shouldn't have as trying at time as I did. Personally - I may just go to Lenscrafters next time I want to replace my lenses. But who knows.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.
Answer: They falsely boosted about putting new lenses in existing frames (in a very short turn around like a week) not the 8 months it's been
Answer: Once your frames arrive at our lab, assuming you've provided all required Rx information, lens production is 4-7 business days on average before shipping
Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
Answer: I am having the same experience. Took my money, lost my frames and have done nothing on refund nor damages. I filed with BBB as well. Why are they still in business is a surprise to me?How many more consumers do they need to harm before they are fined and/or shut down?
Answer: All prices are in USD ($) but we do ship to Canada as well :)
Answer: Yes all of our lenses are guaranteed or we will re-make them if any issues once you receive them back. Thanks!
Very glad to hear that Billy! Apologies for the delay, that is far longer than it should take and I will look into why, and assure you that next time you use us your lenses will be returned much faster. Happy holidays!
